How to Unlock Bootloader?
Warning-Unlocking bootloader will lead to warranty voiding and also will trip your knox. Do not attempt to blame me for not warning you. Do only if you know what your doing and your familiar with it.
1. Go to Settings->About Phone and tap on Build Number 7 times
2. Go back to main menu of Settings and click on Developer Options.
3. Press the switch named OEM Unlock and your done!
How to Install TWRP?
1. Download the TWRP from here. (Credits to @Dees_Troy) (I prefer to use the .tar and flash via Odin)
2. Download Odin and extract it. (3.10.6 or 3.10.7 should be fine)
3. Turn off your phone and put it in Download Mode(Vol Down + Home + Power) and the press Power Up to confirm.
4. Connect your USB Cable and check if it detects on Odin. Additionally, you may need the Drivers.
5. Now click on AP/PDA and select the downloaded Tar file and click Start.
6. TWRP is now flashed! Reboot to TWRP by using the Vol Up + Home + Power while the device is turned off.
How to Root?
WARNING: This root is still experimental and not all apps work properly but most apps work.
1. Download the SuperSU v2.61. (Credits to @Chainfire)
2. Flash it via TWRP and clear cache/dalvik cache.
3. Reboot and Enjoy!
Bad news, OP is a week off because of heavy rain and flood
I'll take over the project for this week, all I need is a active tester

@yeshwanthvshenoy, I think custom kernel is not needed, Chainfire's SuperSU is patching the kernel to prevent bootloop. . .This has been tested on S6 5.1.1 with stock kernel. .

Might be working but I already had the custom kernel installed so I am not aware. So root is working now. Next target would be a booting CM. Tons of thanks for @CTXz for his patience with all the trouble I have given him and will continue till until CM boots.
EDIT : A guy on facebook confirmed that SuperSU is working on stock kernel itself no need custom kernel.
Maybe this is the not the place to tell maybe ur guys help me.
İ tried to flash twrp recovery but no success. Flashing is done but after the flash cant get twrp its just same recovery. (Oem and usb debug on.)

Hi, you should disable auto reboot in odin. .Reflash twrp again and after that remove battery, then boot to twrp. .it will work. .
Why does it say "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" everytime I reboot/boot up the phone?

Just means you're running a custom kernel.
Chainfire claimed that he fixed the compatibility issues with other root apps but with xbin modifications. He fixed it in 2.62-3
Hi All,
Big thank you for this. Was able to root my SM-J200Y. I used 2.62-3 from stock.
All working fine. Can now use tasker to do what I want.

Because in my case i don't have an option to do "check for updates" or "wirless update".
Are they lying about it?

So far, yes. All their buzz (what little of it there is) is about the update for the Be Pro (which they also haven't released.).
Which is sad, because this is a rock solid phone; my only complaint after 2.5 months is the lack of the promised update, which was supposed to happen 1.5 months ago..

I don't think a company will make such a thing to turn it official because not all people know how to do it.
GPS does not work.
The only way I was able to enable it and have sat fixed was by making ygps alway run in background.
I refer to ygps available through engineering mode.

You can update a phone with an app if you want:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/25587474/how-can-i-flash-zip-in-recovery-from-an-app-in-android
They just have to want to do it. We should ask ule.
BTW, I'd ask for a better camera management in a kk updated rom: the sensor is not bad at all
The ROM With FOTA menu enabled is located here:
http://www.android-hilfe.de/ulefone-forum/667345-ulefone-one-fw-update-anleitung.html
To fix satellites I followed this guide:
0) Enter Engineering menu dialing these numbers *#*#3646633#*#*
1) Select Engineering mode for MTK
2) Select YGPS -> Information -> and tap on 'AGPS restart'
3) Exit YGPS and select LocationBasedService.
4) Select AGPS -> Enable A-GPS
5) Select GPS
6) Select FULL
7) Tap on Ref Position and see if some location datas are present: enter your current position (Lat,Long) if it's empty. Select ok.
8) Let the GPS start by tapping on GPS (OFF). It will become 'ON' and will procede with fixing the position
9) Tap on GPS (ON), it will become OFF
10) Select HOT instead of FULL
11) Enter Ref Position and tap 'Apply Last Position'.
12) Reboot
13) Install GPS Status & Toolbox and see if it fixes satellites easily

Ulefone Be One Problem
Hello
I had some problem with loading ROM on my Ulefone Be One(because of drivers). When I was doing that i had to restart my phone several times. Now when I finally made it i turn on my phone and all what I get is brighter screen. I waited for about 30/40 seconds and just swipe up the screen with my finger and i heard the sound of unlocking(so that probably means that everything is OK with ROM).
Any suggestions what to do now?
Mstar S700 (Review) 5.5" HD, Touch ID, MTK6752, 4G LTE, Android 5.0, 2GB RAM/16GB ROM
The Mstar S700 is the EVIL twin to the Mlais M7 it is very similar in design and specifications, but the Mstar is up to 40 USD cheaper. But does not have touch buttons with backlight like the Mlais M7 does. Also the rear camera is only an OmniVision OV and not Sony IMX135 like in the Mlais M7. And last but not least, the S700 comes with 2GB RAM, where the M7 has 3GB RAM. So they are not exact the same.

mlais and mstar is not the same, before you flash something that you dont know, make sure that you have a stock rom from mstar, but that moment mstar dont have it for customers, so, you can brick the phone, first make a copy from your boot and your recovery with adb and than you can flash first the recovery from mlais, only recovery first, if works, maybe yes, you can root without the boot, by the way, my mstar arrives tomorrow and i can make more test.

Yeah actually I wrote these steps. But before we do it like that we need the original scatter file and original recovery.
The scatter I included in the RAR file is only for the Mlais M7 not for the Mstar, so please don't use that on the Mstar. Only the recovery is needed to flash, not the boot.
i am starting a forum for mstar users, is for spanish people but english is welcome too.

I will buy this phone from pandawill, since I dont trust bad fastcardtech, that sold me faulty phone and they dont repair it..
Just received.. very good first look!
I have had 2 other p6000 in the past months, this new "refresh" with octa core, seems to be great!
Pros:
- Very good rom Stock 5.1 date 17th august 2015,
- Good touch 5 points
- Good sound (a little bit low, but in engineering mode you can get it louder)
- Good screen brightness, colors , and calibration via Miravision settings)
- 3Gb ram are HUGE! (2,5Gb free after first start).
- Very good performance of GPS (glonass assist working correct) fix in 10 seconds and catch about 14 satellites (in Italy).
- No issue about app compatibility from play store, and the cherry on the cake is the possibility to install suspersu from play store and have a rooted smartphone withour custom recovery or other annoying things!
- Improved main camera to Samsung 8Mpixel f/2.4 (the old one was sony/samsung 8 mpixel f/2.8)
P6000 pro bring also a new main camera Samsung S5K4H5 8Mpixel f/2.4 (interpolated to 13 Mpixel sensor size 1/4") not bad for the segment
.. Selfie camera 2Mpixel GC2355 f/2.8 (5 mpixel interpolated sensore 1/5")
Antutu score more than 36000 points!:
Geekbench 3 score also very good 621/2891 points:
http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/3341328
Battery impressive with antutu testo of SOT more than 8h and 30':
http://browser.primatelabs.com/battery3/105818
now the CONS:
- NO OTG support like the old P6000
- Slippery and heavy as the old one (i prefer a texturized of threated back cover to have more grip)

I got my P6000 Pro this week, it's very nice!
I would love to see CM12 developed. How can we get it started?
I notice the P6000 Pro has the same CPU (MTK6753) and GPU (ARM MALI-T720) as the Elephone P8000. The kernel for that is released by Elephone here: https://github.com/elephone-dev/P8000-Kernel

Yes, but the kernel of p8000 is not completely the same as our p6000 pro, in fact, trying to use custom recovery of p8000 on p6000 pro, results in a stuck at logo..
Probably, custom can be ported if elephone will realease also kernel of P6000 PRO.

Hi friend, we have just asked to elephone, we will wait for answer..
In your case, you have had root before update ?
Can the generic MT6753 scatter be used with SP Flash tool to flash an Elephone P6000 Pro? That is easily found online.
You could then try flash the Flyme ROM that is published on the Elephone forums.
Martin
Is it possible to root this phone? I hesitate to order because there is no community(activity).

Yes, sure, with stock rom of 19th august, is only necessary to download and open supersu from playstore, to have root rights, without any other issues..
The only issue is with root and ota update of 10th september, it will remain blocked at boot after ota apply.. And no stock rom available fro restore phone

Here are the scatter files. P6000 Pro has MT6753.
http://androidurdu.net/mediatek-scatter-files-download/
I believe we can read the stock ROM using SP Flash. If someone with a working phone reads it, and then shares it with someone with a phone that is bootlooping... should be able to restore it back to working?
Instructions to read back from SP Flashtool:
1. Load the Scatter file (download from above)
2. Select the 'Readback' tab, press 'Add' to add a range
3. Double click on the row that appears in the table. Type a filename to save this memory range to (Eg. recovery.img if you're reading the recovery memory area)
4. Enter the start address and length of the section you are reading back - copy them from the scatter file.
3. Push 'Read Back' button
4. Remove the battery from the phone
5. Connect the phone to USB. No need to power it on. It will connect and commence reading. The recovery memory range took about 3 seconds to read back.
6. It will say 'Readback OK' and you will now have a img file from that memory range.
Thanks i'll try on my working p6000 pro later
Please try my partial backup:
***edit if doesn't work, please select only system. img before flashing.
The package seems to be incomplete, causing pmt changed message on flashtool, good news by the way, from Elephone, Ethan give me answer about availability of complete stock rom. In few hours on elephone forum

Twrp available from my friend bigrammy, but touch doesn't work, because of a kernel issue and goodix touch panel. It works with otg mouse, but other issue is that p6000 pro doesn't support otg.. [emoji24]

yes sir, GT9XX_hotknot..
Sorry bro, CWM recovery created has some issues.
After loaded correctly, it restarts the C55 after some seconds (10-15) and .. also without using any functions of CWM.
It's very strange and first time in my experience so far..
Any suggestion? can you help me to find solution ?

Ok thanks for the confirmation.
Not sure about the CWM maybe we are now just finding it's limits with LP5.1 and the newer SoC.
After all we are still using something made for the mt6595 on KK.
This is why we really need a working touch as TWRP will soon be the only recovery able to cope with the new android versions (M) and SoC's
I will have a play with CWM when I get the phone.

how did you installa Xposed?
i's only possible to install xposed with double step procedure
1- install xposed zip from custom recovery (according to arm 64 bit cpu and sdk22 for android 5.1)
2- install the apk after reboot
no other ways.. or if you try, you have for sure bootloop

Just got it today bro :victory:
I spent all day trying to get Philz, CWM to stay booted and stop force closing
I even gave TWRP a shot in the vain hope I could get the touch to work but no luck.
Still I did manage to get @carliv CWM v3.3 working :victory:
I just need to fully test it first by doing some backups, restores, wipes, etc etc :fingers-crossed:
I am going to bed now for some well earned sleep
Very good news... and very good work! [emoji106] [emoji4]
CWM and Philz Recovery
Well here are the fixed versions ported by me for the Siswoo C55 (Still no touch that's a kernel issue not a recovery one)
First is @carliv CWM (Swipe version it has slightly larger font which I prefer being old  ) Thread here for thanks
Next is @yuweng Philz recovery very Thread here for thanks
Be sure to visit both the above and give thanks to them.
I have siad it before and will say it again that without @carliv original work NONE of mt67xx 64bit based devices would have a custom recovery it's all thanks to carliv's original efforts that anyone has a custom recovery on these devices. So Big thanks to carliv :highfive:
Big thanks also to my friend @yuweng again without yuweng's original MTK development we would be years behind where we are now. :highfive:
I have Posted both recovery's on needrom here
PS: Do not mirror or host these elsewhere please
Simply link to this post or needrom so that proper credit is given to the right people.
Don't forget to hit my thanks button too

Is this based on the zx551 zoom source? If so how'd you get it booting as I can only get boot when ”fastboot boot", not when "fastboot flash".
