how to add more apps to the bottom of the screen - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I want to add more apps (7 instead of 5) to the bottom of the screen.
How can i do that?
Phone: LG G3 CloudyG3 2.5 Android 5.0
P.S: The screenshot isn't mine.
Thank you.

Try Go Launcher EX. It has a 5 app dock and can scroll left and right if you want another 5 and another 5...

The stock launcher can't do this, you can search for one on the google play store, I personally use nova because its not bloatware loaded like golauncher

apex launcher

Check playstore for APEX Launcher. I've used it on Nexus 4, 5 and 7 and on the LG-G3 and Samsung Tab 8.4 -- very versatile and you have the option to add rows and columns to the display and and more icons to the dock with the option of sizing them to fit better. I can highly recommend it.

Hide Notification Bar, swipe from top to reveal..

I would like to have the notification bar off the (top of the) screen so I can have a full screen. If I want to see it I would just touch the top and it would appear and drag down as usual to see notification bar. I do not want to change my launcher as I would rather modify that one feature only.
If anyone could direct me how to do this on my own or with an already available application I would be very grateful.
Im on stock (rooted) G2 Tmobile Rom.
Yo I know you said you didn't want to change your launcher BUT if your using LauncherPro like 90% of the rest of the android community give Go Launcher a shot, it has the almost the EXACT same features as LP but it also includes the ADW ability to set actions for swipe up and down on the home screen (not just the dock) so you can hide the bar and then set down swipe on the home screen to pull down notifications, that's what I do
I just use ADW Launcher, it works very well, i don't care to change launcher.
LOL you don't wanna change your Launcher hmm ur a tuff cookie guy. Joking but for real Launcher Pro is the Best well in my opinion.
I like adw, more customizability. You can do it on lots of launchers but as far as I know you can't do it outside of the launcher. What launcher are you using now? Stock?

I will not take sides, but adw ex have more options in settings than LP. and can I ask where you read that 90% of users use android LP?
Yea it seems that I needed to replace my rom to fix it as it was a rom based feature.. thank you for all your assistance.

Transparent topbar with custom wallpaper?

Hey guys
I just got my G Pad 8.3 2 days ago, and now I want to use a custom wallpaper, since I don't like the stock ones that much.
But whenever I change to a custom wallpaper the topbar is no longer transparent. Is there a way to fix this, without rooting?
I would like to kepp my warranty and use the fabric installed OS.
I have a Galaxy S4 where I don't have this problem.
I tested Apex launcher at that solved it, but for some reason I don't like the feel of Apex launcher. It feels different than the stock launcher which i would like to keep.
Thanks in advance

Give Nova a try. I use it to hide the bar and it works good.

Maybe it does, but I would like to keep the stock launcher if possible.
Strange, I have stock 4.4.2 with stock LG launcher and I got transparent notification bar always, regardless of how I change my wallpaper (through menu or from gallery). I remember even with the "old" stock 4.1 it was anlways transparent.

LG G4 Grid Size

Hi all,
On my LG G4 the Grid size for the Apps is set to 5 Apps horizontally, is there any way to change this to 4 Apps without installing a Launcher to do it, from what I can recall on my LG G2 & G3 there was an option to change the Grid size on each scrollable page to 4.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I think it's only available for the app drawer. Just go to the app drawer and hit three dots on top right corner then select small icon size. It will extend one more collumn for apps.

I could swear I had changed this to a 6x6 grid before rooting/rom and such but now it's stuck at 5x5, if anyone comes up with a way to do this without a launcher I'd love to hear it.
Still searching myself.
***Update***
Found it, G4 Tweaksbox for the Xposed framework that I already have installed, works fantastics, awesome 6x5 grid now with stock/lg UI.

Launcher or theme with rounded folders in the middle of the screen ???

Hello together, i need your help
I use nova launcher with OP3. The only thing i do not linke is the look of the folders.
I am looking for an Theme, Launcher or what ever, which shows the folder in the middle of the screen with rounded corners
(similar to EMUI or iphone).
Do you have an idea how I could get this?
Here an example: at the bottom of the site (http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones/mobile-phones/honor-5x-1314381/review/3)
I tried EMUI Launcher but it is not as in the previews (it is more like nova standard)

Nova launcher can do this...
Just set the folder preview as "grid" and set a custom folder background.

Not liking the new Google app circular icons.................

Anyone else not a big fan of the boring circular google icons on the Pixel?
How can I go back to the Marshmallow icons instead? I've searched the GPS and just find icons that you have to use with specific launchers. I don't want to change the stock Pixel launcher as I've grown to like it. Used to be a die hard Nova prime user on my Nexus 6.
Any recommendations for just swapping out the Google application icons to Marshmallow?
The Nova Launcher (Beta) can Be Configured To ExactLy Mimic The Pixel. Launcher Now.

Does that include the Google Now cards by swiping left at the last screen on the left?

Just tried it - it not quite the same thing. Thanks for the suggestion though. I'll have to figure out a different way to replace the ugly icons.
