Not sure why, but after flashing this kernel Xposed (v78 and v75) is not working. The framework is installed but it's not active. Log says that the zygote service is not running. Is there any patch that disables the process?
Sorry for my english

The only Thing i dislike. xposed stopped working: the module is installed but not enabled... maybee a symple reinstall helps
edit: the Kernel needs a bit to load. i stopped 1 minute 5 sec. On bootlogo

I can confirm that after flashing kernel with stock as previous one, xposed is working fine. I wanted to ask for some tweaks to get smooth my device. Because since i installed this kernel i have faced some glitches and lags, so i don't know which could be the problem.
PD: I made the installation exactly after fresh stock rom installation.
Hi the kernel comes pre-tweaked with what i feel its the best balance betwen performance & battery life, you can tweak it with the app kernel adiutor for example, its the one i recommend,Cheers !

CPU undervolt don't help yet
Why, Below stock 300 MHZ, work in same battery Voltage
And only slowing System, Energy saving is not present in this case.

This kernel came EXFAT Suport for SD CARD?
Thanks.
Hi i know but some less cicles in CPU can help for battery,Ive not implemented exfat support yet , maybe next version
Flashing stock or stellar kernel over this breaks wifi. Have to revert to this.. Any possibility of flashing other kernel without losing wifi? Don't want to flash stock from the start. :/

Feature requests are always welcome and highly encouraged! Just as reviews and feedback

Just how fast is this kernel? Well, this should answer it:
Frequently asked Questions (FAQ)
Or Questions and answers, since this thread is new.
Q: Can this be flashed on the Exynos Note 4?
A: No, by no means. The Exynos model is completely incompatible, sorry.
Q: And what about other Snapdragon versions?
A: I can't advise to do that, it's untested and might not work. If you know how to handle bootloops and can remove my kernel if it doesn't boot, then you can always try it and tell me how it went. More variants would be awesome.
Q: Yikes, this kernel is too close to stock! What about more features?
A: More features will be included, please check the changelog preview. You can also request features and track the progress. I will make a section on this thread to display the feature request and write if I look at them, make them or - and that might happen - reject them.
- To be updated..
Known Issues / Fixes
Bootloop if you have Viper4Android installed and flashed Andromeda over it
Fix: Uninstall Viper, install Andromeda and then reinstall.
If this issue persists in my future builds, then I'll add an automated script to remove Viper4Android upon installation of the kernel.

Hi, yes of course you can! We are actually working on deeper and more exclusive support for SimpleRom too. Stay tuned for version 2.1, it will be awesome
My kernel is much closer to the stock base, so you might get some more performance squeezed out - especially if you select Intelliactive as your governor - but at the cost of battery. I'm still not so big on features, the last couple of days my compiler decided to give me a hard time :crying:
Only 910F for now though!

I'm not part of their Team, but Pafcholini is teaching me Don't worry, this kernel is not a clone of Nadia. My newest and upcoming build is as fluent as the last one and the batterylife is holding up a ton better too. No compromises on either side, thats my motto!

Andromeda Stable 1.0 released!
Good evening everyone,
it took me a while, but I present you the first Stable build of Andromeda!
Changelog
- FauxSound 3.6 fully integrated
- IntelliPlug 4.0
- Enhancements and battery optimizations (mainly centered around powersuspend and adaptations to the default interactive governor)
- Renamed the Kernel in the settings, the last one was a disaster
- 57% Support with KControl currently (Playstore App)

About the Overclocking and Synapse...
I originally intended to include both in this build, but it will still need much more time and work and I didn't want to keep you away from the great upgrades I made in this version, so those two goodies will come later. I can highly recommend trying TricksterMod and KControl, both from the PlayStore.
And a very special announcement...
Perhaps the biggest change is that I recently joined "Team Simple - Simply Awesome" cool and will contribute an adapted version of the Andromeda kernel to SimpleRom, starting with the very close release of it's 2.1 Build. We planned something special - FauxSound is only the cherry on the Audiophile package inbuilt, so be very excited for whats coming up and be sure to try SimpleRom, especially the upcoming 2.1 version!
Oh, btw. I will also open a thread for the SimpleKernel once the Rom is released, to provide an optimized yet very close to stock experience! And there are also plans for an Exynos Build (the N910C), but I need some help with the Exy, so if anyone could lend me a hand, it would be highly appreciated! Now I understand why most devs settle for the Snapdragon..

As far as I try, I can't make init.d support for enforcing samsung official LP OA7 to work by editing its ramdisk.
Even using term-init.sh for universal init.d enabler on official rooted OA7 enforcing and prism barebone enforcing, will not work.
Have u tried to enabled it but fail?
I think, maybe becoz your kernel boot at enforcing state.
If you completely remove enforcing and set permissive or disable selinux only, its different story
I'm sorry for my bad english.
If I disable selinux , the kernel would not boot ( I tried doing that ) so I'll see what I can do about booting in the permissive mode itself
And then maybe the code for init .d in the ram disk may work

Yeah i know it sir thanks to Andrei.. But 1 problem is with v19.1 alpha tethering not detected in other device.. I only hope it will fixed soon by Andrei or by other dev.. And Romswitcher v3.1 still need more features i think like zram so swap will work too..
OP updated with second release
changelog :
using LZO compression instead of XZ , kernel is heavier but execution is faster (eg; booting time is less) also this should fix the high battery drain
Kernel boots as permissive
PS:
1) The code in the init.rc does not get executed for init support ( ill work on it soon after my exam in a day or two )
2) Please test the battery life and performance on this one
Thank You
What are the two frequencies available?
The min and max
BTW I found that on some apps the frequency can't be set
For example in aero control you can't set frequency but you can use memory tweaks like ksm on it
On the other hand in no frills you can use only min and max frequency
While on cpu tuner you get three frequencies min , max and 600Mhz
It's your call mate what you want

THANK YOU SO MUCH <3 I have been dying and searching for a good KERNEL since the stock drains battery just when the screen is turn on for even 5 mins
THANK YOU SO MUCH MAN REALLY APPRECIATE IT
OP updated ,
Minor Update , Not much of a changelog present ( just minor changes here and there )
Second post updated with Touchscreeen sensitivity tweak ( this is a must , it makes the whole interface buttery smooth )
and some battery saving defaults ( cause at the end of the day , battery is all that matters)

Thanks @Boris31 for great kernel! I'm using it right now, It is faster than the stock one, a little bit, but it seems that's not quite battery friendly. What I want to say is that I'm truly satisfied, keep it up with great work!!! Hope next release will be soon

Well, cloudyg3 is based on f320 system so it's maybe because of that. I know that f320l/k/s on kitkat could boot with a d802 kernel but had problems like Fmradio etc.. i dont know why it does not work here so wait for cloudy to release it official or maybe I will try to find how fix it.
@somboons which kernel did you use in modded cloudyg3?

There is not my work maybe from VN. Base F320 .I have unpacked ramdisk I saw f320 in properties fils But I can't remember the name.
I think these kernel modify from f320 for D802.

Wait. Anybody tried the kernel on cm-12.1 and faced same issue of camera FC?
I'm asking this because I have merged some extra CAF stuff only for caf based/cm-12.1 based ROM's not stock, so stock users may face some issues(Didn't know it was related to camera). I'll compile new kernel without CAF for stock users too.
Regards
hey, one more thing, mp3 player doesnt play too, oxy 2.0.2, using phonograph, tried again with solid explorer to no avail.
youtube works though.
I was on 2.0.1 and the camera seemed to be fine will try again on 2.0.2 and provide logs if I can
Hey, could anybody pls post the stock oxygen 2.0.2 boot.img as I dont have the pc with me right now. I need to get the player working till the dev gets this fixed.

Anybody willing to test out a new ROM for me? You need to test it right away and report to me ASAP.The user must have a knowledge to trigger a logcat.I asked yesterday about the testers in the CM12.1 thread but I failed to get a suitable reply from any of the OnePlus Two users.PM me for the download links.

Introduction
Hey guys! This is the kernel myself and my good friend APOPHIS9283 have been working on for OnePlus 5/5t.
- Kernel only supports custom ROMs - final OOS version of 1.0.17 from 07/03/2018 is here in the OP, as is.
- Kernel will always be kept upstream to latest linux-stable
- We do not shy away from features around here. This kernel is LOADED! If you want something minimal, this is not for you. !
- If you have issues, we need logs! If it is an issue that is not able to be logged for some reason or another, please give detailed steps on how to replicate the issue. No logs = no support! Help us help you!
Features
- Upstreamed to latest linux-stable
- Governor options including: alucard, tripndroid, cultivation, impulse, chill, blu_active
- Overclock and underclock support. Kernel boots/defaults to stock frequencies though.
- Dynamic stune boost
- Adreno boost
- Adreno idler
- Wireguard support
- Sweep2Sleep
- LED Settings
- High brightness mode
- sRGB
- I/o schedulers including maple, deadline, bfq and tripndroid
- USB fastcharge
- Boeffla Generic Wakelock Blocker
- TCP congestion avoidance algorithms - Too many options to list!
- Backlight dimmer
- KCAL color control
- Sound control
-i/o switcher
- More I probably forgot, but you get the idea!
Installation
- If on a custom kernel, dirty flash your ROM. Reboot to recovery and flash this after booting with ROM's baked in kernel.
- If on ROM's stock kernel, just wipe kernel app data and flash this in recovery. If needed, flash no-verity after!
- Upgrading from one version to another is as simple as flashing the kernel and no verity if needed. I do recommend wiping kernel app data on each flash - we add things often!

Thanks for your work.
Flashed and boot fine with omnirom (magisk 16.1 & microg).
I like tripndroid stuff then i choose it with your kernel.(+allowed lower frequencies for cpus).
Will test that now...

I'm not sure which version of Kernel Adiutor you're using. I use EXKM myself as I didn't find KA to be able to control a lot of the options I use in big/little kernels, as well as certain settings. I swore by KA Mod back in the day, just dunno how up to the task it is for today's devices and the kernels that they run.

Kernel adiutor is missing quite a few sysfs paths for features. EXKM has them though.
Can I Flash it over FSociety kernel ?
