Galaxy Nexus IMEI UNKONW, India (blak market phone)

Hey,
i have a nexus galaxy phone
with the firmware 4.04
but suddenly when i was using the phone the network disappeared
and then the imei was gone too
they said as the support was taken back from indian markets that was the reason
can someone please point me to unlocking the phone and getting the IMEI back and start the normal calling and all on the phone
i dont mind rotting the phone too
but better if its stock

is problem hardware pba (modem)

imei number seems unknown
to what i read
there were many with the same sudden time disappearance of imei in india
may not be pba problem

will rooting the phone and putting a custom rom slove the problem ?

[Q] Not registered to network even though IMEI and Serial no. are intact

Hello all
I am facing a rather strange issue here with my Galaxy Note 3 Neo SM-N7505.
I had updated it to latest stock ROM from sammobile and flashed it via ODIN but the phone does not seem to connect to network.
When ever i try to make a call it says not registered to network.
It shows which network I am connected to but does not make a call or send a message.
The EFS is not corrupt because the IMEI and Serial number are the same and have not been changed.
The phone does not have any warranty so i cannot take it to Samsung.
Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried changing the sim card? It might help.

yes i have tried swapping the sim card but it does not seem to work.

I lost EFS for my Note II. after install new update
I try to install new firmware "4.3" by Odin and after that ,
I get message " Not registered on network " ,when startup the Note2
and the Note 2 has been frozen and doesn't respond else after more trying
Sometimes phone has restart automatically .
I don't have any EFS backup
I don't have bluetooth address
Now IMEI : 004999010640000 not the original IMEI
information :
AP:N7100XXUENA1
CP:N7100XXUENA3
CSC:N7100OJVENA1
I don't know what i can do it .
I would ask you help me to repair my Note2

Before doing anything you should backup EFS. Unfortunately, EFS is unique and can't be replaced by any other.
If you have a corrupt EFS folder on your SD card, try the procedure in the link given below

If this does not work out for you, don't get into whirlpool of flashing this and that.
Send it to service center with Original bill and IMEI.

fake imei note 2

so flashed my note 2 with phanthom but my imei changed to 004999010640000 so now i cant call no network but i was so stupid i dont heve mede a back up i need help i have write it down on a paper pleas help mee dont have other phone

Flashing stock not helping at all,i tried various method but the issue is not resolved. The imei need to be there. I read some issue been resolved with octoplus and Z3x which mean need to buy the tools. Terminal enumerator also not working.been 5 days trying to solve this problem.

but can't check for update always tell me registration failed
So i flash with odin but unfortunately network didn't work after flashing
So i flashed another rom network appears but cant make calls or internet
Now my phone works good but no network
Don't know what to do
All what i have now imei 1 imei 2 sn
I don't also remember the original rom come with phone
I flashed the phone without check my old version
Very sad of all this
And dont know what to do

May be this can help:
I had the same problem abroad. Check settings with your provider are right.
I couldn't find wifi, because my settings using phone abroad where out.
