I read that the Desire HD has 802.11n but when I've created a WiFi Hotspot it shows a 802.11g while most of the other networks around me are clearly shown as 802.11n.
Does the Desire HD lack 802.11n? Or does the WiFi Hotspot disable it?
I would say that when DHD is acting as a wifi router it doesn't have the capability (or it's disabled) to broadcast a 802.11n network but it can definitely connect to a 802.11n network.
Can you confirm that it does indeed only run as 802.11g when acting as a Hotspot? (Each WiFi adapter I have is the same so I'm wondering if its a issue with my adapters)
Also I see no reason why they'd limit this, my DHD is my router and I'd love to have much better WiFi speeds on LAN transfers!
Has anyone noticed a problem with Wi-Fi 5ghz ac? I'm on 1.32.401.17 and I can connect to 5ghz ac Wi-Fi, but the connection is very very very slow.
Then I switched Wi-Fi on the router (fritzbox) to 5ghz n-a (not n-ac) and it worked.
Why do we have problems with 5ghz ac?
I thought our M9 should work with that standard.

No, I have the same firmware and a ASUS RT-AC68U router. It works just as well as anything else I have.
Seems to work now.
My LG K10 K430dsE doesn't see 5GHz Wi-Fi network, but my old phone connects with this network without any problems.
How to connect with LG to 5GHz router?

The phone supports only b/g/n bands.
Hi, Can RN8pro connect on two Wifi bands at the same time? It should support dual band, but in some review is was not working.
And what maximum speeds do you have on wifi connection?

Not at the same time, I've had many phones with 2.4 and 5ghz and none have supported both conections at the same time, my speed for the 2.4ghz my RN8Pro gets a link of 86mbps, and for the 5ghz network the link is 433mbps, but I don't know if the 433mbps is the max speed that the phone allows or if the router is the one that is limiting my connection.
EDIT: However if you configure your 2.4ghz&5ghz networks with the same SSID and password in the router, when you connect to the wifi, your phone based in the signal will switch between 2.4 and 5ghz automatically.

Well Realme phones can connest on more bands of same wifi. RN8pro should be also able, but on TechTablets sad that i was not possible for some reason. I am asking if anything change with new ROM?
RN8pro shoul have also X antenas for wifi and some other tools.
In reviews, it was stated that the note 8 pro was able to connect 2 wifi connections at once. Is that true and how do you do you that?
