I recently performed a factory data reset on my Rooted Samsung Galaxy S 4 running android v 4.4.2 after doing this i noticed a pretty big issue with two apps. (1) Instagram: Every time i try to upload a video it either says "there was an issue importing your video" or the app itself will force close. (2) Snapchat: Snapchat will not load video snaps that are sent to me, it also will not load stories for some reason and says "there was an issue connecting to the server." This issue is on both 4g LTE and WiFi. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps?

have you tried connecting to WiFi?
if your answer is yes then open your app manager and uninstall all of the browsers except the stock one then clear data and force stop it then reopen it through your app drawer and try again
I've tried clear cache I've tried removing all browsers and it downloads like half a mb then ends and I can't resume I don't have wifi at home but works at McDonald's just fine.... This didn't happen until my phone got messed up and I had to factory reset not sure what to do I'm on 2g anyways until after midnight Sunday might have to wait till then.

Cheers for any help

I don't think Netflix currently works on 4.3. I have been able to sign in to Netflix on my LTE N7 and on my G-Note II (running CM 10.2), but any time I try to start a stream, any number of bad things happen - the message you get, an FC or worse, the app just vanishes. This may be covered elsewhere, but I am not sure it can be solved until Netflix does something...

Mine works fine. I get an error every now and again, but an uninstall/reinstall always fixes it. WiFi version though.
Not true I use Carbon rom and even used to use it on the stock ROM and I am able to watch shows on netflix on my LTE nexus using ATT network. It must be something else causing your device not to be able to connect.
I have no problem watching Netflix either on my LTE N7 (tried only over Wi-Fi). Haven't had to play with uninstall/reinstall either, but have had to sign in multiple times. That's the only sort of glitch I've found.

Hello all,
I have a sprint gs3 running on straight talk cdma. I have had no trouble doing anything until about 2 weeks ago I went to play a video on YouTube. It will sometimes show the advertising click to skip and then it says "connection to server lost tap to retry"
I have uninstalled the updates. Deleted data and cleared the cache.
Any ideas?

Thanks. I didn't have it installed. I had read that in some Google results.
I figured it out. I had done a reflash of the phone not sure if it did this but.
I dialed

I had to set all addresses to 0.0.0.0
That fixed my problem

I have the same issue on my Tablet Z and Xperia Z, if I use WIFI I get connection to server lost when I try to play a video, however if I Activate my VPN videos work, this issue doesn't happen with my pc or other users at home. Any ideas as to what's going on ?
Hello everyone.. I'm really at a loss with this one. A few apps will not load properly unless I'm on WiFi ONLY namely the 2 I use most and involve photos (Facebook & Instagram) I've cleared cache, data, uninstalled and reinstalled the effected apps and even did a full wipe of my M8 and photo loading still hangs. My browser and most other apps work just fine. I did a few Google searches and saw that changing my DNS settings might help and it's hit and miss :/ Not sure where this lag came from as this started last week. I'm rooted on a deodexed version of the latest TMO stock rom. If anyone has any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it.

Just a tip - If you suddenly start getting the Camera Failed message don't try factory resetting or running back to the store to exchange right away. It is most likely NOT a hardware issue like so many people immediately declare. I did some Googling and for S5 forums (same Kit Kat/Touchwiz/UI) suggested removing any flashlight or other camera apps recently installed. I had just installed Go Flashlight. Took it off and voila camera fully operational again. No wiping, reload, or exchange needed. Maybe there's some conflict with the latest UI? Who knows. Hope this info helps and saves you a bunch of time and aggrevation.

Hy, yesterday i bought the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and after the reinstallation of all the app that i have on Samsung Galaxy S5, when i open the camera i look this error "camera failed".
I have the same problem on my Samsung Galay S5, i think that is impossible that i have 2 broken smartphone.
In Any case i have deleted the Google Camera and FOR NOW i have no problem.
Is possible that the Google Camera or other applications create a problem with the camera?
Any other experience?
I had this issue (and one when whole phone goes dark after attempt to use camera) but in my case one single reboot fixed issue. I did use master reset after it because TouchWiz start cashing on start up, all good now.
a have camera problem to but its not fix cleared catch/factory rest/update to 6.0.1
what should i do? changing rom may help?
