I tried to install cm rom the day before. After rooting i flashed through oppo tools the twrp recovery and rebooted the phone. After that i have no access to recovery mode! Pressing power button and volume up or down does the same thing! Gets me into fastboot where it says to press power button for 6 secs to reboot. I have access to color os but cant flash any recovery! Tried flashing stock recovery mode and some others too, tried to flash stock rom again but nothing! I also used recovery installer where i can install gummy twrp but when i press to boot at recovery mode the program downloads boot.img but then i get the message "bootimage incomplete or not signed"! What else have i to try? Any solution?
Same with me, and now I can't find a download link for the recovery because oppoforums are down?
I found solution following that link:

Flash this package, mates.
To boot into recovery:
- Turn off the phone.
- Hold Power + Vol Down.
- When the Oppo logo appears, let go of the Power button, but still hold down the Vol Down button.
That's it.

Since you are ready to reset your phone(assuming you have backed up everything), you can try
1.Booting to recovery with phone turned off by the 3 combination keys(lol, read that somewhere off internet) and not just directly.
2.Flashing 4.2.2 again(from sammobile.com) or some other trusted site. And reflashing cwm recovery.
3.Try rooting it ?
4.Try intalling some app like GooManager from playstore to try to enter recovery mode.
May i know which recovery file you flashed? Flashing a more newer/alternative recovery may help.
Did you manage to fix this. Same thing happening to me.. Flashing recovery from Odin does not work.. Factory reset does not work either. Tried to enter recovery mode.. That does not work as well.. In all everything results in normal boot..
Can any one help?

i have observed that u need to do factory reset after flashing a rom.
1. flash stock rom, i would highly recommend using android v4.1.2 because 4.2. of i9082 is little buggy. link to stock rom- http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9082/
2. After first boot, do a FACTORY RESET either through settings or using stock 3e recovery, both works
3. flash twrp 2.8.6, via odin, (DO NOT RENAME THE .TAR FILE) link to recovery- https://twrp.me/devices/samsunggalaxygrandduos.html
I have tested this recovery on i9082
if i helped you someway, HIT 'THANKS' button

Download Odin and PhilZ recovery/kernel for i9082. Flash kernel/recovery via Odin (you must be in download mode, use Volume Down + Home Button + Power Button combo for this) and you should have recovery. After this, you can flash any other recovery/rom if you want.
P.S. Don't forget to do Nandroid Backup.

Flashing Recovery again with Odin.
Don't tick the 'Auto reboot' and hit start button.
Wait until it shows pass messages.
Disconnect device from PC.
Remove battery and insert after 5 secs.
Press 'Volume Up+Home+Power'.
Thats it!!

I thought OP knew how to flash via Odin. Thanks for tutorial
Whats up lads,
so I just rooted and wiped my Tab S 8.4 but it's being weird when it comes to flashing.
I actually have the T705Y Version, the LTE Version(Australian, if it matters). But when I try to flash a Rom for the T705 Version it gives me this error:
This package is for device: klimtlte; this device is klimtwifi
However if I flash a rom that's designed for the T700(wifi) version it gets stuck during the installation on this error:
Patching system image unconditionally
Tried with several roms. Please help me out of my Rom Limbo! haha
cheers
Flash the right version of twrp for your device.
Are you attempting to flash an aosp rom?

Yeah I think you're right, that should be it. How do I flash the recovery though? I can't get out of the recovery on my tablet so fastboot won't detect it, will it?
If the recovery is twrp then extract the image from the TAR, if it's stock recovery then flash with odin.
POWER +HOME +VOL DOWN.

It's TWRP but how do I use the recovery.img file then? I mean I cant flash it, can I?
Yeah that Button Combo just reboots the device and then it gets stuck in the original boot screen, you know the black one that just says Samsung Galaxy Tab S SM-T705Y powered by Android because I have no OS installed
You don't need an os installed to boot to download mode.
You need to hold those 3 buttons until download mode appears.
Download mode will ALWAYS be available unless your device is hard bricked.
You can also boot to Download mode from twrp by selecting the download button.
To flash the recovery.img, as said extract it then select install in twrp then image then recovery.

YES haha I never saw the Image button in the install section before. The wrong recovery was the problem.
You legend! Thanks bud
I flashed the official Recovery from CM 13 via fast boot. Now the Device is hanging on Enterin Recovery... I am not able to get in the Recovery. I hold the Volume down Button and the Power Button. But every time I get the error Entering Recovery. I am not able to boot my Rom or anything else. Any ideas?
Do you try to boot into CM? It´s the first CM13 version, so there could be some bugs.
Did you try to boot the system with a different Recovery like TWRP?
I am running android 4.2.2 on my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duo
I have recently rooted my phone with superSU
And I am trying to install an unofficial version of lollipop 5.1.1
When I press Volume Up + Home + Power to get into CWM it says "Unknown Command" and takes me to the default recovery menu.
I can get into CWM by putting my phone in download mode and flashing it with ODIN temponarly.
And when i go to wipe data on CWM, it doesn't say yes anywhere, it just shows 5 no's
I have tried scrolling up and down with the volume keys but had no luck.
What im looking for is just how do i get the no's to say yes
Can anyone please help me quickly?
I have rooted many phones but never worked with CWM or custom ROMS
Thanks
-Niko
Flash custom recovery using odin and when the phone is done and restarts IMMEDIATELY press vol up+home to enter recovery. Otherwise custom recovery wont be installed
use TWRP, way better than CWM.
Hi,
I flashed Xperiaxperience Rom on my International H815, after trying to install supersu as a systemapp via the app itself I am stuck in a bootloop I cant access download mode through hardware (I press Volume up + Power button but it boots into normal boot) and neither through cmd. the only thing I can do is boot into recovery but not into twrp but into a recovery where i only have the option to factory reset my phone. Is there anyway to boot to twrp manualy?
