I have problem with windows update in my mobile, I connect to my PC and then go to system and click on windows update and then click on check for update but after minuets it told my error in connecting server,check your time or data connection.I check the setting put it on automatic or manual update and thick the data plane but without change.I have black stone and I can open any page in my mobile at that time. thank you I have black stone
I think that microsoft is not providing any proper update, only time zone updates which are available on windows mobile web page. nothing to be worried about. rgds.

Blackstone comes standard with WM6.1 does it not
Hello, I don't know if anyone is having my problem, since the beginning of this month, my messaging app keeps disconnecting, here is what happens:
I dont receive any message so I go to the messaging app and it says "Signed In (Available)", when I swipe to the left to see who is online, it appears "Checking who is online" and on the top I see "connecting", after a few moments it gets connected.
When I lock my phone and I return a few minutes later, it happens again, its like only when I am going to use the app, it gets connected.
The weird thing is that this started happening at about the same time for me in a Lumia 900 and to my wife on a Lumia 710.
Rebooting the phone wont work because after a couple of minutes the issue starts again, the only thing that helps is in the Lumia 900 Hard reboot and on the Lumia 710 battery removal, after a complete reboot it stays working for 5 or 6 hours before the disconnection starts appearing again.
So I don't think its a phone issue, I guess its a services issue but I wouldn´t know if the problem is from my operator or from microsoft itself.
Hi. I am using the Lumia 900 in Canada and I've been experiencing the same thing. At first I thought it was because I was connected to FB chat as well. Turning it off did not help. Hopefully we can find a reason and fix it soon.

Hey, "glad" to hear I am not alone.
Yesterday I upgraded my wifes Lumia 710 to WP 7.8 and the problem apeeared again, so I am thinking it may be an installed app, could you tell me if you have any of the apps I have installed so far:
Whatsapp
Lumos
Viber
UC Browser
Al the other apps are already installed during the upgrade

I'm not a new visitor here but posting for the first time.
Recently I got my hands on Nokia Lumia 710. I updated it to WM 7.8 and it was great. Kept using it for few days until I needed to capture my screen on Lumia 710 but I couldn't find any program/feature. I felt really disappointed. But today I gathered some nerve to unlock my device and did it successfully using Nokia Lumia 710 - A Layman's guide to install CUSTOM ROM posted by psquicker.
I successfully unlocked my device and can now use several different features.
Unfortunately came up with the problem that I cannot sign in to my Windows Marketplace account with my Windows Live ID. Can't even sign in to my Windows Live/Hotmail account under Email Accounts settings.
Error it shows, says:
Activation failed
We were trying to activate your phone without troubling you about it, but something went wrong, so we need some more information before we can continue. Tap Close and we'll explain.
When I click Close, it asks me to call Support.
The same error appears anywhere I try to sign in.
Note that I was using all the Windows services normally before unlocking the device.
Screenshots are attached.
Help will be appreciated.

Hi,
contact with Microsoft Live support ( Live chat with MS) .. ask activation code ... i to had same problem... not its solved ...
don't tell about your custom rom... just say your mobile need activation code...
Note : keep that code for future... whenever you hard reset your phone or flash ROM it ll ask again...

I've got a verizon ATIV SE , in setting for Mobile & SIM when you go there it shows nothing. - its got a blue text saying learn more. thats it
i had it come up once ok but clicked on sim settings and it crashed and i've not seen it again.
The phone is unlocked. in dev mode

Hello everyone, this is a strange problem ive encountered. After reaching 8.10.14226.359 build on 8.1 i ran the offline windows 10 mobile updater using iutool. The only issue i have is the bluetooth notification showing its turned on but not connected but off in the app. I cannot turn it on. Ive updated everything this is the only issue i have everything else is fine. Windows 10 mobile runs very well on the 925 lumia. I am at OS 10.0.14393.2007. I also gained root access to modify some registry settings. I would be very grateful if someone knew a fix for the bluetooth. Thank you in advance.
It's a known bug for the x2x line of phones. You can solve it either by rebooting the phone until it lets you activate the Bluetooth, then reboot it once again with the BT turned on or simply do a hard reset.

Its resolved now like you say it needed a hard reset everythings working great thanks for your reply.
downgrade to AU.... with CU or FCU bug with BT is common problem... with AU no problems, navigation works, and all is better...
