LG G3 problem with the jack port - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have my LG G3 for about 2 months and i just found this problem . I have 2 pairs of headphones that i use with the phone . The first one are my really old Apple Earbuds i have for 2 years , the other ones are some brand new sony MDR ZX310 headphones . When i listen to the apple ones everything is fine , but when i plug the sony`s , wierd stuff is going on . The songs are skipping , pausing/playing songs , even the google voice pops up without touching the phone. I just want to know what the is problem and what to do with the LG . Just so you know , the Apple ones have 4 contacts on the jack connector and the sony ones have only 3 . Please help me as fast as you can . Thank you !
Edit : This happens with ANY headphones that have 3 contacts on the jack . I tried on other phones and they are fine . I am thinking that its something from the phone itself

Earphone stereo problem

I have problem using samsung wave's earphones on my hp laptop. The sounds seems crackled and in mono audio types it becomes very faint.. Either i should partially plug earphones or select mono channel in vlc player but this messes up the audio quality. But in my bro's lg optimus earphones everything is fine.
The sound quality on my wave is excellent but on my laptop its bad.. Will I need some other samsung driver or is it a common problem?? My laptop sound driver is up to date...
Thanx in advance....!
This so common
i use my earphone with my laptop and sound is excellent
My brother tried it with his laptop and sound is crap
the solution was to use the earphone half plugged and half unplugged
look for easier understanding put your earphone in your laptop and play music
now sound is just crap
unplug your earphone slowly from your laptop until you find sound is fine
i hope you get what i meant
Best Regards
Yeah even i have that problem and the solution is Given by the Post above my post !! i think its due to the THREE Strips that u can see on the HeadPhone pin on the Wave earphone (All mic included earphones have three strips and ordinary earphones have only two) !!! But better use any other ordinary earphones !!! !! Cheers mate !!!!!!
Thanx for suggestions, but i have been managing from weeks the way u told(found on some hp forum) but problem is it spoils the bass effect and sound becomes irritating rather than pleasent.... so i asked if i could get some driver which could make good use of earphone hardware like the way its played on wave....
Anyways its better i'll get some other earphones..
you dont need drivers for a 3.5 mm audio jack!.....lol
the thing is that the jack is madein such a way!
a normal 3.5 mm jack will have 3 point pin!
1 common
2 left audio
3 right audio
but if you talk about phone they have 4 point pin1
1 common
2 left audio
3 right audio
4 mic
the problem is that each company manufactures
pins with different configuration!..(so that a samsung high end earphone will not play in lg or lower end phones)
and in our headphones second point from the wire end is the mic.....so if the pin is fully plugged in you loose proper sound and when half plugged the common is outside the pin point so you get the mono effect without bass!.....lol

[Q] Weird Headphone/Earphone Issue.

So i tried playing music on my a1 through my earphones ( nokia earphones u get in most nokia phones with a square button+clip) but the issue which came up the sound was distorted , this same thing happened in my pc and if the button on the mic was always pressed then they work normal and awesome. so i pressed the button while listening on phone and they worked normal and nice without any distortion.
AFAIK its based on the jack present on the phone , that the earphone jack supports the jack in the phone.
Am i the only one or everybody has the same thing/jack.

zenfone 2 ZE550ML Aux Issue.

Hi to All.
I'm a newbie on this forum , ( i'm here from 2010 as a samsung galaxy s plus user but i never posted anything, just some like and thx ) and on XDA here I've solved( always thx to some1) all the problems that I had. Some Month ago my samsung galaxy s plus has decided to say "goodbye ". I bought a fabolous zenfone 2 ze550Ml , and for first day i was really happy of my new smartphone. After some week i was at a party , and my housemate bought a new 2.1 speakers. To try our new toy , i connected my aux through the 3.5 mm aux cable that come from the speakers. Here is my problem started : from the speakers the music was low and disturbed but the phone was ok ,i 've just taken a look at the speakers's input/output connector... and.. my house mate with his ignorance on evreything about electronicsjust connected 1 input on 1 output connector and viceversa. From that day evreything that i connect on my 3.5 aux connector dosn't work good and the music/audio is low and disturbed ( some time i can hear just the right headphone ). I'm sure that i'v burned some channel audio , but i'm not so good on electronic circuits & Co. I am here to seek help, all kinds of help, if u think to know how i can fix it you are welcome :laugh:
Thank you in advance!
and and sorry for my bad English

3ring headphone jack and htc m8

Hello , I recently got my hands on hyperx cloud core for my pc , great headset for gaming . I tried to connect it to my htc m8 ( stock 6.0.1 not rooted ) but couldn't get it to work . The headset actually comes with an extension for pc and when I used that with my phone it work well I noticed that the extension cable has 2 ring jack but the headset it self is 3 ring jack so I thought maybe that's why it's not recognizing it !! now I'm confused because the original earphone has 3 ring headphone jack any idea what's going on here ?

Very essential question for users of betop G1

Since I am using this kit alot for pubg , I couldn't use the headphone jack while charging , one of the them at the time , I tried a dongle with both ports but it doesn't work at all . And couldn't use the bluetooth especially with the aptx dropped down . So for whom ever have the same sitaution , what is your setup ?!
