Is WWW.dhgate.com real?

Hey guys, brudis here again. Quick question, how rep I tell if my new 32ghost SD card is really 32gb. I was reading a post on this forum
And some one found a 32gb micro SD card on dhgate.com for 18 dollArs so I ordered one and sure enough, it reads 32gb on my evo and on my laptop yet when I try to download fresh on my phone it tells me I don't have enough space....pretty crazy huh?! Someone please help. Thanks

Well, from my experience, i ordered CE phone but the delivery took long time and finally i got a defective one. So i am not quite happy, So I switched to Chinabuye. I ordered and got delivered in couple of days to India with free shipping. Thats what buyer expects!I would recommend to check with them, quality is good and so as rates. Worth for our money and time

Well I did get around 26000 Microsoft MS points for my XBOX 360 for about 40 USD there and that worked out okay.

Surely, I bought from the Chinabuye a piece of technology SD Card 6 Class. It has the read speeds of very fast, I am quite flattered! It arrived in a box, in no longer than 72 hours (3 days, by the way) in front of my house on last week. I ordered it 3 days (72 hours btw) earlier and it get here on timely manner. I am flattered! I will buy the Chinabuye again!

Newegg for my first computer that I built. Those were some fond memories!

I bought a portable minidisc player in 1996 from Japan since they weren't released where i live.
I found an email adress to a japanese dude somewhere in a personal minidisc information site in japaneese and asked him if he could buy one and ship to me.
"Sure!" he said and i wired all the money directly to his bank account.
A couple of weeks later it arrived, perfectly packed and everything in order.
The "online" in this story is the emailing part i guess, but there werent much other options to online purchases back then.

[PSA]Free Bluetooth Headset From Best Buy.

Hey guys, I just noticed in THIS thread that Best Buy has an offer going on where if you buy an AT&T or Sprint LGOG you should get a free headset with it.
From what it sounds like, it is a good headset.
I don't know when they started this or how long it will last, but it was confirmed still going on as of yesterday (1/5/2013).
If you bought an OG from Best Buy and didn't get a headset, you should be able to go in with your receipt and ask for the headset (others in the thread have been able to).
I have not been able to get mine yet, but my fingers are crossed.

Another user said they called BB and they said the purchase does have to be within the last 30 days.

Just went to BB and got my free headset (was within the 30-day window). Had to wait over 45min because they couldn't bring this deal up on their own internal website and showing them the site on my phone wasn't good enough. I used their own computer to go to XDA, hit the link provided by bleached45, and showed them the deal was legit.

I got the free headset with my OG when I picked it up for $99 at BB. They miss labeled the price, as it was supposed to be $199 with free headset, but since I caught it they gave me the deal anyways.
The headset I got was a wrap around neck style with ear buds. It was a neat concept, but the audio quality was only good for phone calls. It was horrible for music, which I was hoping to use it for since it was more like Bluetooth ear buds than a normal headset.

Quick question, I got my OG as a gift and have the receipt but it has a family member's name and card number on it, did you need to show them ID or have your card (assuming you got it on a card).

Nope... Just needed my original receipt. They scanned it and it had all the info they needed. Didn't need to show a license or credit card.
Then again, after 45min they may have passed on all that info just to get me out of the store... Lol

i constantly read xda forum for whatever device i have but rarely post. But I had to post a reply to this. I purchased a LGOG about a week ago from BB and no one mentioned headset. i ran out during my lunch break to BB and picked it up. No questions asked...in/out in about 10min. Thanks XDA

Maybe try going in to the store and show them the link and ask if they will match the offer.

I used BB's own company computer to click the link provided by bleached45 in the first post to show them the deal was legit. So definitely go to the store.
Also, make sure you go back to the store where you purchased the LGOG. I figured all BBs are the same, but apparently not when it comes to purchasing phones. I went to one store and they told me too bad, I have to go to the store where I purchased the phone.

Not a good deal when you consider their phone price
Wow! $699 unactivated? That's pretty darn expensive, and makes the free $69 headset not worth it.
I got my OG for $579 direct from Ting, and I didn't think there was anything special about that price.

Ah! Y'all are $99 carrier contract buyers. That make more sense.
I bought my OG without a contract through ting.com and pay $25/mo, saving me $65/mo...the price of that free BT headset!

I don't know, as far as I know, nobody has tried to get them to mail it.
I think your best bet is to go in, most people have reported that when they call about it bb said they couldn't match it, but in store they were able to get it.

okay, I got my parents to say I can go tomorrow or friday so is the music quality any good, or should I stick with my $100 wired headphones, and just sell it for other stuff I want to get?

Just stopped into my local BB they are out but there are some on the truck. Holding one for me when they put out the stock. Manager knew about the offer. Was way cool about it. Love best buy!

Bought my LGOG on 12/22, went in today and asked about the headset, the BB guy couldn't find the ad online, so I brought it up on my phone from the link here in the forums. He said OK no problem. Got me some new earbuds! They sound alright, not great. Actually they seem a little too small in my ears even with the bigger rubber cones. But I'm not going to b***** when they were free! :good:

That was said with my umi Z delivery which I tried to refund but they already shipped it. Still trying to contact dhl to return it since I ordered the pro version which I didn't knew was on sale. Hope I can get a refund . Else I'll have to sell it here

So it seems. Compared to the Z Pro the difference is small, and it's a bit cheaper.

Enter into your Gearbest account and check if there is a button to give priority to your order. I used it and it seems to work.

I also ordered one from Gearbest, but fairly recently, about two weeks ago, on the 22nd. I'm not impatient or anything, however there is something alarming which seems strange. I got a notice together with the tracking on the 29th that the phone was shipped, however today that I checked with DHL the informed me that the shipment was never delivered to them and that I should contact the sender to inquiry about it. Then,.. I got to discover all those reviews around about people that never got their products and so on. And since then I can't stop thinking that I am tricked. Can it really be the case?

I got tracking shipment rather fast when I ordered my umi z (which I refunded) so doesn't seem fishy at all. It could be that they been out of stock that's why it taken time

Indeed, today I received a notification from the delivery service that the phone was given to them for delivery, perhaps to arrive later in the week. Also my support ticket was updated around the same time clarifying the same thing. Nice

I got mine today (notification) it's currently in Singaporrre and will alive also this week approx Wednesday unless there's a delay. So as said I'm not afraid it's scam as I've seen yt videos of people getting it. And if someone wants proof ill make a video and share here
Also I doubt it would have been on play store and having that high rate if it be scam it would been reported long time ago
Also android sites that's are quite large wouldn't tell about gearbest neither would umidgi list it as trusted source for re selling their products

Do I need to UnRoot my FTV 1 to trade it in ? Finally time for a full on upgrade...

So I think I should get a FTV Stick 4K Max. Mostly for the latest Bluetooth options available on them. I would like to trade in both my working Rooted Bootloader unlocked FireTV 1 devices for the 20% discount before the next 4K Max sale. But I am not sure if I should try the trade in process by sending in my TWRP rooted device as is (boots fine & used them as my current daily devices) or if anybody has yet to successfully unroot a TWRP flash FireTV 1 device ? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Also, how long do they give you to use the 20% discount ? Can you do two trades around the same time to get the discount on two new devices. Any info about how your trades went are appreciated.

Since the trade-in accepts also broken devices without a remote and other stuff, I guess it's too much of a hassle to do the unroot first...
Did the trade-in some time ago, also a bueller box, three bucks and 20% off for 'new' 4k devices (back then this was the cube and 4k-max). The whole process took ages, best is if you start the trade-in about 1,5 to 2 weeks infront of the sale...

No need to unroot before trading it in. Just make sure you wipe your data and you'll be good to go.
I don't know if you can have 2 active trade-ins at the same time, but I wouldn't risk it. I wouldn't do the second trade in until after you make the first purchase using the first trade in.
Some people get instant trade in credit, meaning you can use the discount immediately and mail the device after. There's no way to know if you'll get that until you fill out the trade in request.
Lastly, I'm expecting a new Cube to be released around October, if that changes your plans.

Good to know. Right now it shows they are still offering the same $3 + 20% off discount on a accepted working device. I plan to just send the device & remote. Do they require the power cord too ?? Amazon chat said two trade-in's should be fine around the same time. But not sure I trust them. I did copy over the chat incase I decide to do two close to the same time.
Maybe if the New Cube upped the storage to 32GB or above it might make a difference. I doubt most of the other specs will really get an increase. The RAM will probably still be @ 2MB. I actually own two FireTV 4K Sticks which I think are still on rootable FW. But they don't seem to be any hints of those ever getting the FireOS 7 update. Which is what I need to make my Bluetooth usage much simpler.
Does Amazon has Labor Day sales or ? Trying to do the trade in 3 weeks before the next possible sale.

It is still going for the same rate. $3 + 20% discount. Was told one can do more then one at time by Amazon chat but not sure I trust it. They where not sure how long they give you to use the % off credit. Wonder if there are labor day sales by Amazon or not.

There should be two questions about the condition and the parts at the trade-in page right after you've selected the fireTV model... I would select working condition = yes and accessories = no.

In my country it doesn't make any difference, all possible answers get the same discount, so I guess you can ship only the box in (like I did) and it will be fine.
I bet that the discount thing will not work (to buy two new fireTV devices), if you trade-in two old devices at the same time... maybe it's better to use two accounts.

Afaik the discount only works for 4 weeks or so, after the trade-in confirmation.
In my case the whole trade-in thing with shipping and confirmation took almost 2 weeks.
I guess 14 days infront a sale will be fine, if not you can annoy the support chat, they can give a discount too.
