that's not a good deal and handhelditems takes longer then ordering from china. I will never order from them again. placed three separate orders, the quickest of which arrived in 10 days. check eBay, much cheaper and you don't have to deal with these clown. also have hundreds of complaints against them in the BBB. horid company really. I hope you don't end up needing to get a hold of them for support. sorry to rain on your parade, hopefully your experience with them will be all unicorns and rainbows.

I got mine. I think it was a limited supply only I'm sure they went fast. Yeah it was 16 bucks so if customer support does suck I won't be to pissed lol. Thanks for the heads up though.

for some reason i put this in my friends evo and started charging again then placed it back to my evo then it charged..after using it for a day it wont charge with my phone..shipped it back today...maybe youll have a better luck..

I posted this in one of the posts below, but figured more people would see it out here and could take advantage of it, especially with all the new bricks we've been hearing about.

They're shipped from China and probably take a couple of weeks to get to you, but I just got them so I would have them in case I ever needed them. They're pretty cheap on Amazon too.

I just tried and you're right. With that search they're mostly gone. Try searching for just USB jig and sort by low price with shipping. There's a few for 6 cents right more with a couple of bids. Not s many as the fist time I went on though.

Right, but I doubt people use that stuff for lil things like a usb jig. Thats probably used for different stuff I'd imagine.

It's been a while since i ordered these. But just wanted to say I got both today. Haven't really tested them because my phone is working just fine though.

I'm sorry, I dont subscribe to the "I dont know or recognize that brand name so it must be generic" train of thought. If that were the case I'd have never rcvd the sweet white carbon fiber battery cover I just got since it doesnt even have a name brand. Moral of the story, dont knock it till you try it

I'd have to agree with that. But most of if not all of those same accessories ship from Hong Kong too...everything ordered from the site I posted might cost a few bucks more, but they're shipped from the USA and arrive much faster. To some, that's worth the few extra bucks spent.

I am always willing to pay a little extra to get it from the states. I order stuff because I want it now, not in 3 weeks. I have my eBay app set up to show only US sellers for that reason alone. I know it's all the same stuff. I contacted Amazon about putting that feature into their app twice, with no response

I hear ya. Some things I don't mind waiting for, others I want them quick and don't mind spending a few bucks extra.

All those recognized name brands had to start off as unknowns at one point aswell. People these days cant seam to grasp that concept tho. Lots of times thats where NEW ideas come from. The NEW guys.

If it is actually the SDXC, I have a 64Gb one in my E4GT right now and it works great.

This exact MicroSD card is going for $99 on Newegg so there's little doubt it's counterfeit. For another $10 I'd rather spring for a 32GB card that comes with a warranty and hassle free return. Also I heard with the 64GB card the media scanner takes forever to process it.

My last one cost about 65-70$ from Amazon (so you can definitely get them cheaper than Newegg,) but I do agree that these are likely counterfeit (or stolen... muhahahaha)
Media scanner: yea, but marking the media scanner to not scan it (.nomedia) is my normal fix for that issue.

I have one already, not the one from eBay but the official one, in my S2 and the media scanner doesn't take any longer than the 32 I had. But I haven't packed it full of media either.

For the price ill bite, if something goes wrong then at least I'm paying with paypal

Here is an interesting article with some very interesting insight into the world of "fake" microSD card manufacturing in China... written by an American(?) who works at a factory in China. Apparently some "fake" cards are just substandard cards that flash memory makers dump on thesecondary markets...
You can find the article via Google. Search for "On MicroSD Problems bunnie's blog" it should be the first one that comes up

I didnt understand it completely, but I think he was trying to say that he will refund fully if I will not satisfy with the card, and I dont need to return it back.

Mine emailed late last night that it was marked shipped so patiently waiting. If this is a real one then I will sad I didn't order 3 instead of one...

That means that sale is over. You can click on the seller and see if he has any more open. If not you are out of luck, or in luck depending on how this turns out

Hey guys, I just noticed in THIS thread that Best Buy has an offer going on where if you buy an AT&T or Sprint LGOG you should get a free headset with it.
From what it sounds like, it is a good headset.
I don't know when they started this or how long it will last, but it was confirmed still going on as of yesterday (1/5/2013).
If you bought an OG from Best Buy and didn't get a headset, you should be able to go in with your receipt and ask for the headset (others in the thread have been able to).
I have not been able to get mine yet, but my fingers are crossed.

Just went to BB and got my free headset (was within the 30-day window). Had to wait over 45min because they couldn't bring this deal up on their own internal website and showing them the site on my phone wasn't good enough. I used their own computer to go to XDA, hit the link provided by bleached45, and showed them the deal was legit.

I got the free headset with my OG when I picked it up for $99 at BB. They miss labeled the price, as it was supposed to be $199 with free headset, but since I caught it they gave me the deal anyways.
The headset I got was a wrap around neck style with ear buds. It was a neat concept, but the audio quality was only good for phone calls. It was horrible for music, which I was hoping to use it for since it was more like Bluetooth ear buds than a normal headset.

Quick question, I got my OG as a gift and have the receipt but it has a family member's name and card number on it, did you need to show them ID or have your card (assuming you got it on a card).

Nope... Just needed my original receipt. They scanned it and it had all the info they needed. Didn't need to show a license or credit card.
Then again, after 45min they may have passed on all that info just to get me out of the store... Lol

i constantly read xda forum for whatever device i have but rarely post. But I had to post a reply to this. I purchased a LGOG about a week ago from BB and no one mentioned headset. i ran out during my lunch break to BB and picked it up. No questions asked...in/out in about 10min. Thanks XDA

i bought my phone on january 2nd and just called them about this, they thought i was crazy and had no recollection of it even when i told them how to find the link offer and they were looking at it they said i was SOL

I used BB's own company computer to click the link provided by bleached45 in the first post to show them the deal was legit. So definitely go to the store.
Also, make sure you go back to the store where you purchased the LGOG. I figured all BBs are the same, but apparently not when it comes to purchasing phones. I went to one store and they told me too bad, I have to go to the store where I purchased the phone.

Not a good deal when you consider their phone price
Wow! $699 unactivated? That's pretty darn expensive, and makes the free $69 headset not worth it.
I got my OG for $579 direct from Ting, and I didn't think there was anything special about that price.

I got mine for the $99 promotion the day after christmas at a best buy about 30 minutes away. I have the receipt. Any chance they can mail it to me? If not I will get it next time im in that part of the valley.

Ah! Y'all are $99 carrier contract buyers. That make more sense.
I bought my OG without a contract through ting.com and pay $25/mo, saving me $65/mo...the price of that free BT headset!

I don't know, as far as I know, nobody has tried to get them to mail it.
I think your best bet is to go in, most people have reported that when they call about it bb said they couldn't match it, but in store they were able to get it.

okay, I got my parents to say I can go tomorrow or friday so is the music quality any good, or should I stick with my $100 wired headphones, and just sell it for other stuff I want to get?

Just stopped into my local BB they are out but there are some on the truck. Holding one for me when they put out the stock. Manager knew about the offer. Was way cool about it. Love best buy!

Bought my LGOG on 12/22, went in today and asked about the headset, the BB guy couldn't find the ad online, so I brought it up on my phone from the link here in the forums. He said OK no problem. Got me some new earbuds! They sound alright, not great. Actually they seem a little too small in my ears even with the bigger rubber cones. But I'm not going to b***** when they were free! :good:
