URGENT : Forgot PIN! - Elephone P8000

Hi,
I seem to have locked myself out of my phone and do not remember my password. Last night before going to bed, I experimented with a bunch of passwords as to which one would be easy to remember. Now I do not remember what it was!
1. I have tried atleast 50 different passwords. However, they do not work.
2. Also, strangely, I do not receive the Forgot PIN option that we used to receive in earlier version of android
3. I do not have wifi/3g internet enabled so that I could check the google account recovery option.
4. I tried the emergency number and entered a key mentioned somewhere but it doesn't work. However, in the process I managed to call the police unfortunately!
5. I am able to use the camera on the bottom left
6. I tried calling myself and then trying to enter the phone while on call. No luck!
I want to try avoiding factory resetting the phone. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Hey,
I think THIS should do the trick for you. You can easily flash CWM via SP Flash Tool, boot into it, open an ADB shell and remove the .key file.
Let me know if this works.

Thanks for the info! . It's a bit late here. Will try it tomorrow and let you know how it goes!

[Q] really need help with rooting

first off, I am sorry for the many posts ans questions about this but i cant get any solid answers or help. I have tried every thing suggested and still no results. when I go into about phone at the bottom (i forget what it says) but the answer says "custom" I have ran every version of odin and have tried, CF-Auto-Root-hltetmo-hltetmo-smn900t.tar.md5 , also N900TUVUBMI7_VEGA.tar.md5, also N900TTMBBMI7_CSC.tar.md5, and have tried different cords , ports, turned off all security's,. I got into developer mode and checked the usb debugging box but I don't have the option in security to change write privileges.. when I run odin sometimes it will say reset, sometimes it says pass but only once did it reboot the phone, but I have no super user app in the drawer and in odin mode it says write protection: Enable (in grey) it also says current binary :custom, system status :custom, know kernel lock 0*0, and knox warranty void: 0*1
I think I have gotten down all the info I can think of that may help someone figure out what the problem is. I would really appreciate any help or ideas you may have and appreciate your time helping me. I will be sure to hit the thanks button.
also I should when I do reboot my phone it will still go to my launcher but constantly a message ( unfortunately direct pen input has stopped) I have to to hit ok then I can press on something one time then it locks up for a few seconds until the message pops up again and I hit ok then I can press another button, and I have to keep doing this until I get where I'm going. ( a text message would take 20 minutes to write) the phone locks up until that message pops up. I went into settings and turned off everything that has to do with the pen but no help.
also if anyone still has one of the first CF TAR files if youi could get that to me I could give that a try. i got my phone when it first came out and am still on all the older versions of everything so that might work thanks

My phone got stolen

Hey guys, about a year and a half ago, my lg g3 d855 got stolen, I know that's sad I probably also posted some questions about it back in the days.. it took a long time but today I got it back ( it was an evidence in court so I couldn't take it and now when they are in jail and the case is closed they gave it back to me ).. anyway, apparently the thief changed the phone password, and I really want to get all my information inside, I guess USB Debugging is off since I can't use adb commands (adb devices returns an empty string), and after booting to recovery I see it has the stock recovery installed, so flashing zips is not an option,
I have no other option then trying, am I right?
Just to mention, I can try as many backups pins as I want, it doesn't lock me there, and I can also try his Gmail password..

Wait as i understood.. You want to put your info inside to your phone?
Then why don't you do a factory reset and then do it..?
I know it may get the Google security (it needs the gmail and password that was in the phone) (it may be your gmail so give it a try..)

Unable to reset Andriod ZTE phone bc of FRP lock, Looking for help unlocking Please!

Hi,
So I have a rather unheard of problem. I was given a phone from a friend before they moved out of state and have no way of contacting them anymore. I turned it on and it had a pass code so i just figured i would do a factory reset ( or what i assumed to be a factory reset) using the buttons on the phone. I used the recovery menu to get to the screen that gave me the options to wipe data, or install update from apk, or factory reset the phone so i used the volume buttons and clicked reset. I let the phone do its thing and when it turned back on it goes to the google factory reset protection page saying i need to login using a google account that was previously used on the phone before the reset. FML! i used the talk back option to be able to access the settings menu and figured i would just do the reset from the settings menu. This is were all of my problems begin!! I can access the settings menu and get to the back up & reset and then click the the Factory reset option. However, the factory reset screen has a button at the bottom of the screen that says Reset Phone and when I click the Reset phone button, absolutely nothing happens. (It makes a click sound but it doesn't do anything at all)
The Other Problem!!: For some unknown reason i cant seem to access the developer options and enable USB debugging. even after i put the phone in safe mode i still could not get the developer options to appear. I have no clue what i am doing wrong but i feel like i am running into a brick wall and not matter what i click or press the phone just will not do what it is suppose to do! I tried every way I can think of to enable USB debugging but, no matter how many times I try to click Build Number or Build Version ( whatever it is exactly called, hopefully you can understand what I mean) nothing happens! I have tried to install a USB debugging app from a qr code but it won't read the qr code from the camera app. I was able to access the camera app using the same talk back trick that i used to get into the settings. I keep telling myself if only i knew about the talk back trick to get into the settings menu before i stupidly reset the phone when i first saw the pass code. So I am hoping that a google FRP Bypass program will work and help me make the phone usable again!! Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?? I am open to all ideas.
So far i have come up with a few ideas but idk if any of them are even possible to accomplish! Can someone help me out and tell me if any of the following options are even possible and whether or not it will be helpful and make the phone usable so i can have a cell phone again. Please, Please can someone help me!! Ideas:
1.) Use a Google Factory Reset Protection Unlocking program.
2.)Somehow completely delete the entire phone and reinstall the marshmallow android OS, like when you would do a fresh clean install of windows on a PC, (IDK if this is even possible but i am assuming it should be)
3.) Rooting the phone and finding a new custom ROM. ( I haven't even done anything like or close to rooting a phone, but im guessing it cant be that hard, right? Google and YouTube have vast amounts of tutorials........, hopefully,....right?
4.) I have backups of my older phones that i am wondering if it would be possible to use one of the backups i have saved and somehow putting it on the phone as a way to get pasted the FRP lock? I haven't a clue if the backups are only usable to the specific phones that created them or if they can be used on any phone?
5.) Downgrade the Android version to a older version that doesn't have the FRP lock, then once i have access into the phone i can just upgrade the phone after i logging into my google account.
6.) You know how Windows PC have the restore option in the settings so you can go back to a previously made restore point? Like turning back the clock so to speak, Is this option available or does it even exist at all on Android? I was thinking if it does i can just simply store the phone back to before i stupidly reset it and then use the trick to bypass the screen lock code and use the settings to do a hard reset ( I really don't think this option even exists or is possible but im literally at the point of willing to try and do absolutely anything to be able to have a phone again! Please and thanks! It is a ZTE Z837VL and it is Android marshmallow, Android Version 6.0.1 (I'm not sure if the
Android version matters or not?)
Thanks. Also If this is the wrong place for this post then please just let me know where the correct spot is to post and i will quickly fix it!! I am new to the site and I have read alot of posts and truthfully, feel like i have overwhelmed myself with trying to make sure i do things the way its supposed to be done. I know many most likely ALL of the members on this site are advanced and way more knowledgeable about the mobile phone information. I do know alot of computers and I have alot of programming experience but i have only focused on PCs and am just starting to learn what i can about mobile development.
Thanks again for helping me and sharing whatever you can with me to help solve things. I am really hoping not to end up with a paperweight haha!!

Locked out of J2 Core (SM-J260T1)

So a good friend of mine recently changed the lock screen password to his Samsung J2 Core (SM-J260T1), and then forgot what he changed the password to. He's really pissed, and I completely understand why; most of the files/pictures he has are on that phone. I've tried Dr.fone, but it doesn't have a working unlock function for his phone, I've tried numerous other 3rd party Android screen bypass tools, all to no avail. Now I'm looking into recovery mode options, but as far as I know, TWRP doesn't have an official custom recovery download for his specific phone model number (SM-J260T1).
I found this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32965365#post32965365
..but it's way over my head. I've searched online for other custom recoveries and they do exist for the SM-J260G, (for example, TWRP -_-), but I'm not sure if these custom recoveries are inter-compatible with his J260T1 and I'm scared to try out of fear of bricking his phone.
Problem:
Forgot Android lock screen password, can't get back into phone
Constraints:
-Android lock screen password unknown
-USB debugging is not enabled on the phone (*If anyone has a "USB debug enable file" I can flash using the stock recovery mode, or a way to enable USB debugging from via PC USB connection, let me know!)
-I'm pretty sure developer mode hasn't been enabled either
-He has a Google account linked to it, but correct me if I'm wrong but Google updated the FMD options to where you can't send the phone a new password remotely; it'll wipe the device.
-Wiping data/factory reset is an absolute last resort option because the phone's not backed up.
I can get into recovery mode, and with ADB running on my computer, I can select the
Code:
Apply update from ADB
option, and it'll show up on my PC's ADB as:
Code:
O:\Software\platform-tools_r29.0.0-windows>adb devices
List of devices attached
420087d0d35ec5ed sideload
I'm pretty sure that's this function: https://twrp.me/faq/ADBSideload.html
Not sure if I'll be able to do anything using adb sideload, but it's something I'm able to use (if there are any working files for the SM-J260T1)
I can also
Code:
Reboot to bootloader
and
Code:
Apply update from SD card
(I have a 32GB SD card if I need to use it)
Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get back into this phone? Thanks to everyone's advice/info/answers in advance!

you do know why lock screen exists, right?
(to be clear, there's a lot of threads in here that have this same problem. If you cannot get it, who knows if you are an actual owner or not. Only way to get in phone that doesn't require a few bucks is factory reset)
That said, throw a few bucks at a technician might be a good idea.

Zenfone 5z brick-ish..?

Hello everyone. I am stuck in a bit of a draining situation. and I really hope that some of you, may be able to help.
I have 3 kids with each their phone, all of them have been registered to Googles Family Link service. Recently the account that managed them all got suspended for being hijacked and therefor it broke their terms, and now 4 accounts are locked. Google will not help me, to release the accounts the kids have, so they can use their phones again. So I tried following a guide on bypassing the log in prompt after a factory reset on this specific device. It happily activated the tap talk function, but when I try to open Google Assistant, nothing happens. I've tried looking it the settings of Tap Talk to find any clues, but to no avail.
I have searched for different variations of the same procedure on Youtube and Google and I can't seem to get further than described..
I then decided to try unlocking the bootloader or re-flashing the stock firmware, hoping to wipe the existing system completely. The re-flashing part, well. I found the Asus Zenfone Flash tool, but I am not too sure what to do. The guide seemed a bit confusing to me, so I tried the Bootloader, since I used to flash and root all my phones back when HTC was big. I have installed Quallcomms drivers, Asus-android_USB drivers, generic Android Usb drivers and restarted the pc to make sure that was done right.
The phone however is another problem. I haven't been able to enable usb-debugging thanks to Family Link preventing access to Dev-mode, before I did the Factory reset. I can read the phone's name on the ADB update option, when I boot it to stock recovery. But any commands, makes it hang with "waiting for any device", which, from what I understand, is a driver related issue. So I have updated the drivers as each guide has descibed.
My plan was to install the latest Lineage Rom, so I have the most recent files for that.
So now I ask you. I have downloaded Rom files, Gapps, 2 types of recovery img files, but for now, I am stuck and sad and I need a Yoda in this matter. The entire situation is probably solved with a simple click or command that I am not aware of.
If you need any further info I will do my best to help. My kindest and biggest thanks to anyone that provide some help.
Kind regards
Johnny
