.

I still hope that it will arrive in December.

January sounds more reasonable. Its the time most OEMs will start delivering 6.0 Well I guess I prefer to wait a bit longer for a smoother experience and fewer bugs I guess.

I'm leaking right now.

What ???

From the leaked photos I didn't like the blur effects. Some people didn't like the white color on the notification drawer but I really liked it. Its much more cleaner now and more materialistic. But some other parts are reminding me of iOS. Surprise eh? I wish Samsung could adopt the material design in every aspect of TW and not creating these hybrids. From the other side the Marshmallow TW solved the memory management problem according to the reports and it is smoother and faster now so I can't wait to get it. Starting next year though our next Android update will take months to arrive just like S5 now.

we have what you call those that are lucky to have you

it is possible to be buggy

Let the Verizon release date rumors begin.
im getting this phone on the verizon network
With Sprint & Verizon's designs, it's the first time I see a locked-device that's more kick ass looking than an unlocked... Love the black keyboard. To bad here in Belgium we haven't got one of these
According to this guy, his contact at Verizon told him to expect a July release. http://www.examiner.com/x-11295-LA-...Touch-Pro2-headed-to-Verizon-possibly-in-July
I'll believe it when I see it, but that would be perfect.

I wonder if AT&T gets it the same time frame? I'm on ATT and this is the first time I'm excited about getting a phone that they will carry instore. I've been running at Edge speeds for too long on my Touch Pro 1 and Touch HD. I'm ready to get my 3G speed and full qwerty back. Plus a screen size nearly the same as the HD's.
Bored and did some quick math. No point really, other than just boredom. It would be nice if this timing worked out, but I'd obviously prefer it much sooner.
Yes, I also realize that Sprint released the TP on the last day of confidentiality, but hopefully it really doesn't take until Halloween.
Touch Pro
FCC Approval - July 1
Confidentiality - October 19
Sprint Release - October 19 (110 days from FCC Approval)
Verizon Release - November 24 (146 days from FCC approval)
Touch Pro2
FCC Approval - May 20
Confidentiality - October 31
Sprint Release - Unknown (September 7 is 110 days)
Verizon Release - Unknown (October 13 is 146 days)
I sure hope that's not the case. I've already been waiting a couple months to upgrade and make my work life a helllllll of a lot easier. If I had confirmation that was how long it was going to take, I would probably get the TP1 and see about upgrading to the 2 whenever.
I need this thing for work. And 3g is a big part of it. This not knowing is killing me.
I wish the photo was still there.

After the Galaxy S4 receiving Android 4.3 update in Europe and Asia, many U.S. customers who bought their devices from different carriers started to wonder when will they receive the new update, as most of the time carriers take a lot of time before rolling out a new update. Thanks to geek.com, we now have exact dates on which U.S. network providers will start rolling out Android 4.3 for the Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Active. The Android 4.3 update will also add Galaxy Gear support to the device, as well.
According to the leaked Best Buy document, most of the above mentioned devices should be updated to Android 4.3 in the month of November. However, Verizon and Sprint will be updating the Galaxy S4 in the last week of October. T-Mobile will roll out Android 4.3 for the Galaxy Note II in first week of December. If you own an AT&T Galaxy S4 Active then you might get disappointed to hear that AT&T will be releasing the new update with Galaxy Gear support on December 24, two months from now.
Below is a list of changes and improvements which will be coming with the new Android 4.3 update:-
- GALAXY GEAR Support
- TRIM Support (Makes the device much faster)
- ANT+ Support
- Samsung KNOX Implementation (KNOX bootloader and dedicated application)
- Samsung Wallet comes pre-loaded
- Improved RAM management
- Improved Display colour reproduction (Display looks much sharper than before)
- Improved TouchWiz Launcher (Much less launcher redraws and less lag)
- New Samsung Keyboard
- New Samsung Browser (Full screen by default, new tab interface and more)
- New Reading Mode (Optimises display for reading, used by only a few specific applications)
- New Camera firmware
- Minor UI tweaks (Contacts app, Flashlight Widget, dialog boxes etc)

I'll believe it when I see it. All of the reviews I've read for the Galaxy Gear are pretty mediocre at best and I wasn't planning on getting one. CM 10.2 nightly's already a stable 4.3 ROM as it is and I haven't seen any additional functionality that interested me since Adobe introduced Flash for Android.
They are taking so long to push this update. So glad I ordered my Nexus 5

Already a bunch of "speculation" posts about 4.3
When it come it come.
It actually says 11/18. And there is already a thread about it below this one. Been known about for a week now.
Why another upgrade thread? Really?

is it safe to use Note 7 Hongkong Version SM-N9300?

Today Samsung requested all the Samsung Note 7 Owners to Switch off their phone and stop using it.
I have a Note 7 Hongkong version SM-N9300, Which has a Green Battery and the Faulty Tests shows that my phone is NOT among the Affected ones.
My Question is "IS IT SAFE TO USE MY PHONE NOW?

As far as I know the actual recall is currently in the US only (Not Australia, according to Samsung. I asked them) however I'd guess it's going to be worldwide very soon. And this includes all the replacement ones that were deemed "safe".
So, your Note 7 will /probably/ be recalled soon enough. Nobody can tell if your phone is safe though. Impossible to know.

Samsung Hong Kong just announced earlier for all people with HK Note 7s to stop using and return the phone. To be honest, the potential battery problem ALWAYS included China and HK phones, Samsung's HK and China divisions were just shady as hell and kept selling on September 2 when Samsung headquarters first announced they made a huge mistake. Samsung HK has been getting killed online by people for weeks for seemingly apathy. I'm surprised they acted so soon this time to echo what the rest of the world is doing.
so long story short, no, your HK note is included in the call for return. All note 7s are. the phone is done.
Well my Note 7 is perfectly fine. The battery and everything is perfectly fine. NO HEAT ISSUE. i am trying to contact the person who sold it to me to check what the supplier stand on this.
Anyways thanks everyone.
I just wonder the problem is not the battery but rather the processor.
The one in China are not exynos which produce more heat
The Recall is GLOBAL, as in INTERNATIONAL. NO SAMSUNG NOTE 7 IS SAFE! RETURN IT!
Seems to me this forum is frequented by Samsung-haters and/or trolls.

OneUI 2.0 Beta for N976B

Is their going to be a beta for the European Note 10 Plus 5G. You'd think with the entire device from the CPU to the 5G modem being manufactured by Samsung, we'd be the first people to get it. Someone said that the N976B isn't getting it at all. Is this true?
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Unfortunately it seems the N976B will NOT be getting the OneUI 2.0 / Android 10 beta. The Korean 5G handset has had the beta and the S10 5G has also had the beta, so there's not really a whole large need for us to get the beta.
It is currently looking like we *might* get the release version of Android 10 / OneUI 2.0 sometime in December, and seeing as how Samsung have been great at releasing firmwares for the 4G and 5G handset at the same time, that means the N976B should, with any luck, have Android 10 / One UI 2.0 before the end of the year.

[Discussion] Missing (on purpose) 1/32s shutter speed (Global/EU version)

It's been like that since the first A10 update on February, (I'm global version)I'm on V11.0.14.0 now and it's has yet to be fixed, it's really starting to annoy me as I used to use that feature almost everyday, but it seems that Xiaomi is doing that on purpose, even the EU update has this bug now, people have been reporting ever since the first A10 update on February but they still released the EU update without fixing it (because they really don't want to), so I starting to think that we should make a petition on change.org or something because I've never seen such a bad customer service/development team from any other company in my life, I think it's just because this is stock Android not MIUI. I've been using the Feedback app since the first day they released it but i didn't get any response regarding this issue, doubt they check those reports, I had hopes that this was a bug it looks like it's a feature for people with Stock Android, so they can sell more MIUI phones.
Any thoughts?

I've lost any faith in Xiaomi support and customer service. I can confirm that, as European consumer, I've never seen a company ignoring their userbase as Xiaomi. I'm more disappointed as I was using Xiaomi phones and devices for years and now I feel like they're totally betraying their customers. No petition will change this attitude and they confirmed it, since they say that they make money through software and ads and not with the hardware.
Best way to use the A series is using a custom rom: until now I feel that Pixel Experience builds on A2 lite and A3 are way better than stock roms.
In customs roms and in the global version they are also lost and in all apps, not only the stock camera, they leave us 1/4 or at most 1 / 3s of exposure time, this problem I have seen in all roms whose base or vendor is 10, even in many gcam, except some, that if they manage to jump the exposure time limit, which makes me think that it is something that is in the vendor of the new update, in the global rom It has been reported since the first failed updates, the 48Mpx have also disappeared in the Open Camera, Android 10 has been a disaster for the cameras and apparently it is the intention of Xiaomi the limitation because if they had not corrected it a while ago.
I think the custom roms should all be done again with vendor 9 as the base, instead of vendor 10, since these limitations are absurd, or in any case find the solution.
Should be fixed with the upcoming May security patch updates as some users have been reporting.
