I need camera update software for Asus P525, wich I can get more sharp pictures with my pocket. I think that, mda vario II have in camera integrated software, wich after photo shot, automatic sharp photos.

I don't think there is such (extra) software...

the only problem i see with the p525 cam is that its a bit slow to take videos but the camera itself takes quite sharp pictures even better that nokia 2mp cams out there

i notice a bit blure!! in original the camera software.
1. i cant say it blur because the software make the picture in this way .
2. you can get sharp picture by using the ateksoft coolcamera program(without auto focus and without any other blur or what ever you call it)
3. Videos is a nightmare at night or low light conditions with asus p525 ,in day like its ok 15 fps . but there is a solution for better video quality and more fps at day and its by using coolcamera.

Wasn't sure if if this should go in General, Q & A, or Apps..
In any case, I'm wondering if there's any way or any app out there which would allow for recording a video at the same time from both the front facing and rear facing camera?
For example, as a motorsports enthusiast who goes to track days at times on road courses, I think it would be very neat if I were able to attach the phone to the windshield using a suction mount with the rear camera facing the front of the vehicle and have a way to record a video with both the video feed from the rear facing camera (showing the view out the front of the vehicle) as well as from the front facing camera (showing the view out the rear of the vehicle) and have the app do a PiP (picture in picture) of the video. It would be a lot more easy and slick than using two separate camera's/video sources, and then later having to time sync them using some type of video editing software on a pc.
Just a random thought I had and figured I'd throw it out there for information..

Sounds like an extraordinary idea for an app!
don't know if it's possible.
I will try lol
but i don't think theres any app out there who can do it,
Yeah, I've searched around and haven't found an app that does anything like what I describe, but I'd have to think it's gotta be possible to query both of the video signals from each camera at the same time and then put them together and save it to the SD card. I'm certainly not a dev or programmer, but with as versatile as Android is I'd be surprised if it's technically not possible, just maybe no one with the know how has felt there was enough desire/interest for such an app,...yet.
This sounds like a great idea but not to sure our phones could handle the over head needed for that multitask. Maybe one of the newer phones with dual core could but I doubt this one could. Now that I said that someone will prove me wrong
Hello Hello Hi and Hello Again! :victory:
I've been trying for a while to take photos with my Google Galaxy Nexus but there's no way to keep the focus zone while i'm shoting. Each time i touch the screen to shot the photo, the phone loses the focus zone. Is there any way to fix this?
Have you tried other focus settings? Continuous focus stinks. Try using infinity
What other focus settings? I don't see any in the Camera app.

You must be on stock ROM.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Yup, it's a big oversight in the stock camera app. I don't understand how it's not there since it was in older versions.
Try an app called Camera Zoom FX (it was previously on Google's 10 cent deal). The program allows you to touch the screen where you want the camera to focus, and it'll automatically take a shot once it's achieved focus. The big glaring weakness of Camera Zoom FX, in my opinion, is the fact that you can't adjust the exposure. (that is, you need to be able to meter the light on a different part of the scene than you're focusing).
Honestly, it's not hard. To me, the two biggest requirements:
1. Touch to focus and shoot
2. An option to measure light from a different source (e.g. take a photo of someone in front of a window; you want to meter their face and not the window's light)
I have been reading about the focus issue of the nexus5x on xda but haven't really found any fix for it.
Is it a hardware issue? If yes, can it be fixed if i change the camera module on the phone?
My rear camera is unusable as it doesn't focus at all.

you can download open camera enable manual focus in order to see if it's a hardware issue if it focus with manual just reboot your device amd the next time you're trying to take a picture make sure the item you want to focus if it's "hited" by the laser autofocus (its left to the camera)

Hi All,
This may be the best Gcam version for Edge X30.
I created the config file to make everything work flawlessly.
1. Face retouch working for all cameras
2. Night sight is also working
3. Tweaked the post processing a little to brighten up the shadows but still keep the exposure the same (no overblown highlights)
Install Gcam and load config file.
Let me know what you think or if there is any improvement required with the
Working great here, only 60 fps video is lag.
Will this work with the moto edge 30 pro? Its the global version of edge X30.
@aniketk1 , works on Moto Edge 30 Pro without a problem.
would it be ok to try this on the edge plus 2022? thanks

Yes. Basically the Edge x30, Edge 30 Pro and Edge Plus 2022 are all the same models with different names.

thank you
What about the new Edge 30, will it work? I don't wanna brick the phone... Thanks in advance
How do I move the options arrow toggle thing? Almost entire convered by the pin hole front cam, took me a lot longer than I'd like to admit to figure out how to get to the camera settings
Thank you a lot for providing this XML file. However, I would like to know if there is any way to enable the Macro feature (available in the original Moto camera). I've tried modifying the configuration, with manual Focus and activating the Third Axilliary Camera (which resulted b/w, by the way) but I couldn't achieve it.
If someone has any info about that, or another config, I would be extremely grateful!
PS: I have an Edge 30 Pro
All the photos get pink tint arround the edges of the photo, is there a fix for this?

I have the same problem with selfies, but they tend to be reddish for me. Too many problems, at the end I've switched back to the original Moto camera, I always shoot in Professional mode and I'm currently satisfied of the results

Yeah the pro mode is actually great! I was just trying to get good hdr raw files from the gcam, I got used to my now dead Mi 10T Pro, it had a great camera, but was worse than this in everything else :')
I just reloaded the config file and the photos seem better on the normal cameras. Selfie cam has purple/reddish on the border of the image.
The app works very well! The only problem I encountered is that trying to use the ultrawide sensor in video mode, the app crashes.
Using moto edge 30.
Any way I can fix?
Thanks!

Easy fix. Go to Settings > Advanced > Black Level
Back Camera - auto
Front Camera - off
I also have another problem, in astro mode it doesn't do long exposures, is there a way to make it do long exposures?
On my Xiaomi Mi10T Pro it could do astro photography with multiple long exposures and it could take arround 2min.
Also even on my older Lenovo P2 it could do 10sec long exposures.
Please help, I wanna put this mediocre camera up to its paces

Hey just wanted to point out, if you have the video in I believe 60 frames per second, if you switch to the front camera, then back to the main shooter, it causes the program to crash.
Not sure if that's caused by my lack of knowledge of where to put the config file, I just saved a random config, and copied over what was posted in this thread into that folder, then deleted the one I created.
Guys, can you post some Night Sight pics taken with Gcam and Edge 30 phones?
