Hello all in M9 forum. I am coming from M7. I have a very stupid question. I am running on windows 10. I cant seem to communicate the phone with adb or fastboot. ITs not detecting the phone. Have the driver came with phone.
Driver Version: 1.0..0.0.23
I have downloaded HTC_Driver_4.16.0.001 but the exe not executing on windows 10. Tried with compatibility.
Anyone has any idea why its happening? Need a solution. Quick. TIA

There is a GPL's linux software HERMflasher for flashing hermes/trinity (working), and similar code for magician (untested).
I guess that the hermes code may be adapted for the universal with some
minor effort.
well i do know how to program but i do not have the detailed knowledge of flashing especially of universal, so i don't think i'll be able to mod it..
Again i don't want to brick the only phone i have [].. by testing this util..hehe
Thanx a lot anyway....

If the uni is not locked. Otherwise it may be easier to flash from the SD.

Sorry, the current htc-tools version is magician-specific.
But we are working on flashing the linux ROM, so it'll work eventually

Thank you very much, so this version still not compatible with Non-Touchscreen? As U posted before, you mentioned that version 2.0 will be. I'm still correct? Thanks again for your contribution.

that's weird
I don't own a Windows Mobile Standard device, but I tested on the emulator and on a friend's device 3 days ago (although I did some very minor changes since then) and it worked.
without the error message, it's gonna be hard for me to debug

Hey,
ASUS has made a full Android 4.2.2 version for the vivo tab rt available. Unfortunately there isn't a way to flash it onto the tablet because of secure boot etc. I've seen someone mentioning that an older uefi version was hackable.
So maybe if you put the old uefi version somehow back on there, you might be able to boot that android version.
I wish people didn't post stuff they can'i back up. If you don't know the answer don't post. Does anyone know if it can be done?

Microsoft Secure Boot Golden Key is online, is this the start of a new life for the VivoTab RT? :
Maybe someone will port it over.
The Android version of the VivoTab RT TF600T is ASUS Transformer Pad TF502T. On the Asus website the Kernel Code for Android 4.2.1 can still be found (http://www.asus.com/support/Download/28/1/0/17/32/).

Can someone asnwer about this topic about the option to unlock the bootloader. Have been dealing with the tab for more than 6 years already. Hate the windows rt.
I've restored the original windows 8 RT image on this tablet but is unuseless, I can't navigate, I can't use the store, I can't update, it returns always errors...must we trah it?
Have anyone RT 8.1, RT 8.1 still works with internet?
