About CyanogenMod:
CyanogenMod (pronounced sigh-AN-oh-jen-mod), is a customized, aftermarket firmware distribution for several Android devices (See above for supported devices & how to install CyanogenMod on said devices). Based on the Android Open Source Project, CyanogenMod is designed to increase performance and reliability over Android-based ROMs released by vendors and carriers such as Google, T-Mobile, HTC, etc. CyanogenMod also offers a variety of features & enhancements that are not currently found in these versions of Android.
Disclaimer:
CyanogenMod members or anyone else on this website is not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in the products you find here before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Your warranty will be void if you tamper with any part of your device / software.

1. Factory reset if coming from another ROM.
2. Update recovery [Recommended -> TWRP for hammerhead]

I don't understand why this thread was started when this other one has been around for a while? http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-t3236550
@MasterTec: Only difference I see right now is that the other build uses a custom toolchain. And I don't know if the thread starter is going to cherry pick stuff or something... this one right here will always be pure CM - be it unofficial or official (Yeah, this thread will turn into the official one as soon as nightly builds start rolling out on the CM servers).
Hope the difference is somewhat clear

C-Apps are made for CM-12.1, you can give it a try... but don't be surprised if you get problems and force closes.
So I suggest you to make a backup if want to try it.

Could you be more specific about the "error"? You probably have to update your bootloader to the latest version.

Flashing a bootloader doesn't wipe the sdcard. Use Boot Unlocker app if your bootloader is currently locked.

This is AOSP with Linaro additions on top for speed and optimizations.
You'd be amazed at what breaks when you add very strict code optimizations.

can anyone tell me what is the difference between LINARO and non-linaro build?
In the flash directions, after flash rom, it says to unmount system, I've not seen this before. I use philz recovery & my options under mounts is just to format. Will this not work if I flash rom, gapps, superSU.

Linaro is an organization that takes the AOSP code and utilizes strict compilation flags to optimize the code to allow the system to run faster and more efficiently. Caveat though is that dirty/sloppy code needs to be fixed which can range from a trivial spacing issue up to code needing to modified to be written in a proper fashion that doesn't allow for memory leaks or allowing two different functions to point to the same allocated space when they aren't supposed to.
Non Linaro is anything AOSP derived without any of the Linaro optimizations.

The unmount system step is to alleviate an issue that arises with some recoveries for whatever reason won't flash the rest of the packages if system isn't unmounted dispute it being unmounted during ROM flash. Also if the ROM doesn't flash after a wipe it's usually cause system is still mounted. Don't know why it works, but it does.

So if I can't actually, unmount system in philz recovery, then I should flash twrp recovery, which I know I can unmount system, yeah?

One way to get around having to manually unmount system (which one of my testers using philz recovery found) is if the ROM is refusing to flash after a wipe then you should flash the superuser or gapps package first then the ROM should flash with no issue and then you can proceed to install superuser and gapps without needing to unmount.

Nice.. When I had my One X, it was a Linaro-based ROM that made it give it's best performance, I'm hoping this will do the same for my N5. Flashing now.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for Lineage OS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

I flashed a older build and it worked and upgraded to 3/28 and working fine. I think they got it fixed in the 3/29 build for tomorrow.

OK thanks. I'll give that a shot also !!
Anyone know if the Ir blaster is working yet? I haven't tried cyanogen or candy in about a month and I couldn't get it working even after setting selinux to permissive. That was the fix I used to use for cm12. I think that's the only deal-breaker for me right now.
Hey, installed cm on my m9 two nights ago, really like it so far. I did get a sleep of death twice last night though, thought you should know.

Does this work on SGH-i537 (ATT, unlocked currently running 5.01)?
Thanks.

Try Open Gapps via web (http://opengapps.org) or their mobile app.
How would I flash this. I have jltecan and I've read that you are suppose to flash twrp jlteatt which I've tried but I still get the error. What to do to fix this problem??
edit : i got it working. apparently wiping dalvik, cache and system does not factory reset the device. lol i factory reste it and it worked. very smooth for an old phone. it was so laggy on stock but now its very snappy.
I have an S4 running latest stock rom from AT&T ...OK2. I am assuming I cannot do this? other threads are saying we cannot unlock the bootloader.

Dope!
Will there be another update or nightly for JFLTEATT, @crisis_trustee or @kno06497?
It's sad there is so little traction on this thread, I would really like this rom to happen since S4's are still more than capable devices. I wish the dev/builder doesn't lose hope and keeps updating this even if it implies longer waiting periods. Thanks for the present efforts anyways. Can anyone update us on bugs with current download? I use this device as my daily driver so I need something usable.

Using i337m. Should I be downloading 14.1 or 14.1 Nightly? Or is there much of a difference?

In case this development or thread is effectively dormant, consider taking a look at OctOS (Nougat 7.1.1) for the S4. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/orig-development/rom-team-octos-oct-n-t3532663/page3

Nice stable rom
I installed it two days ago on a Rogers phone, only issues that I've noticed are that the WI-FI does not seem to automatically connect to my home network. Second issue was the proximity sensor, had to download a dialer apk. Here is the one I used //drive.google.com/file/d/0B3gC6ZOFEXSZNE1SR2dManJPbGc/view?usp=drivesdk
VOIP apps like hangouts still black out screen when on Audio calls, with the life proof case on. Without the case the sensor seems to function properly, Except...
Issue is none of the buttons will wake the screen.
This is why I replaced the dialer for the regular phone.

Bug reporting:
Before the report make sure that you've installed the latest build of the ROM.
Explain the bug in details and, if possible, methods to reproduce it.
For most issues, you should attach the logcat.
Random reboots? Please upload last_kmsg immediately after the kernel crash.
Note: I will only be providing builds once every month and when new security patches come in. I don't have enough time to be making them every week. These builds should be daily driver friendly and have nothing changed or added and they should be pure lineage based builds. Please download the latest version of OpenGapps and flash along with the ROM to be able to use the play store and other google related services. If you want to root i recommend flashing and using Magisk 19.2. Enjoy and i hope you appreciate my pure lineage 14.1 Unofficial builds for the HTC Nexus 9 Flounder!

Hey sorry my apologies I set it to 480 DPI in build prop by default because I like the bigger display rather than the tiny display elements. You can flash this zip here along with the ROM and it will return your nexus 9 to the stock 320 DPI instead of the bigger one which was 480 DPI. Do a full wipe of the rom again and then flash the zip with the fix and you should be good to go
Flash in recovery
