sir please help me rooting my device ive got lg g3 d855 android version 5.0 software version V20n-234-30. thanks
Please help me root my G3 too. I'd love to know how
this is a simple way root your device not sure if it will work but it works with marshmallow tho
1)you will download kinguser apk from playstore and try to root your phone try to root your phone if it failed you will download the windows version of iroot from here http://www.iroot.com/ (you are rooted here)
If you want to swap to supersu
2)you will need to install a custom recovery which will be simple will install this from google play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jmz.soft.twrpmanager&hl=en thats TWRP and will select your device
3)https://download.chainfire.eu/921/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.65-20151226141550.zip you will need to download this zip and reboot to custom recovery you can do it manually or by this apk https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.petrus.tools.reboot
flashing a zip: will be by pressing install in recovery then you will search for the zip in the location you put it in. im not responsible for anything happens to your device.
just installed 6.0 on my lg g3 d855 32gb
trying to root and install a custom recovery but not able to. used the method with kingroot then installing supersu from twrp but then when booted supersu keeps asking to update binary and then freezes. am using the v30b-global-com version
any straight forward way to do it? without kingroot
i dunno if that's weird, but i can't even enter the fastboot to install the recovery using fastboot command

1) Fastboot doesnt work on LG G3 because it bootloader isnt natively unlocked
2) Please do not install TWRP on your current firmware. You will brick your phone
If you need TWRP you must downgrade to KitKat before you can install it.
I did install twrp and it booted normally. Using kingroot and a method i found on the forum. But the problem was with supersu that it kept asking to update binary which never happened. Anyways thanks for the reply. Phone not with me anymore
I upgraded my LG G3 D858HK to Marshmallow v30a, I would like to install custom TWRP recovery on my phone, although my phone is not rooted yet, Please guide me how I can do this
actually I want to install SuperSU binary(which is in zip file) to root my phone.

Either downgrade to Kitkat using TOT/KDZ and LG Upgrade Tool or if you want a one click method and trust Chinese downloads, then download Autorec and root package from:
http://pan.baidu.com/s/1o6YpUsE
Use password: rjte
Navigate to one of the folders which has kingroot app, which roots temporarily and then use autorecmm app for D858HK. This should downgrade bootloader to Kitkat, install TWRP, downgrade modem to compatible version and flash bumped MM boot image. Of course, permanent root with SuperSu will be there as well.
If you prefer DIY methods then there are a few other posts by me and @topet2k12001 which should be helpful.

Hi, you must install KingRoot latest version and Beta Super su 2.5.2. After this you would have enabled administrator permission.
In case of failure the update binaries in SuperSu, you must again install TWRP apps in order to install the custom recovery ( the latest version is 3.0) and finally, you must install the Supersu file (from recovery) in version 2.52 (is the one that works best on android Marhsmallow).

root is the problem, I am not able to root my Phone, I tried Kingroot, but no luck,
You must install to KingRoot in latest version from its official site. Then run the application and leaves that the process is complete. In the end, the application will show an error message indicating that it has not been possible to establish root on your phone. You should try to at least three times. If the error persists, install the application root check and verify if the root permissions have been granted.

I am not sure of the steps for your variant. You will try to do through of adb/console. Find on Internet how to obtain root permission from adb/console for your model.

I was applied the process on MM v30b....so you have to be on v30b global marshmallow Rom and try multiple time with king root
Hello, I wanted to ask if there is an option to root the device (marshmallow rom 6.0) without using "Kingroot".
Sorry for asking again in the forum (someone already asked that and didnt get an answer)
Thanks in advance.
Yes.
Downgrade to 10A ( Kitkat ) using LG UP.
Root with Stump Root
Flash TWRP with your app of choice ( DD command will also do )
Flash one of the custom roms / @autoprime 's stock 6.0 .zip

I wanted to ask 2 more questions:
1. now, if i upgrade to marshmallow the root will "dissapear"?
2. I have problem to flash Twrp recovery. I tried autorec, flashify, and also official TWRP.
the message i get when i reboot to recovery - "Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify"
OK I solved this issue
