Hi everyone,
Which Stock rom is the most stable for P8000 according to you ?
Best regards
Don't use stock rom! Use Eragon
I am waiting for flash eragon because my stock rom is realy stable and y have no problem with.
I could only use July 25th stock rom, other ones stopped SIM card from working - tried latest eragon (5.5 & 5.6) and this is much faster than stock ever was, less bloatware, no simcard bug or other bugs that I'm aware of. Worth doing
Which eragorn version you are using now?
good afternoon
how to flash the phone that it supports 2G GSM: (1900)
and a 3G WCDMA (UMTS) 1900MHz
and 4G FDD-LTE B1 (2100MHz)
Thank you in advance!
Hi Stich_,
flashing will not solve the issue as it is hardware related. Elephone is currently preparing a B-version of the P8000 which supports 1900MHz (2G) and 1900MHz (3G). LTE-B1 (2100 MHz) seem still not to be supported by this phone. You can take a look at the specs here: http://www.elephone.cc/elephone-p8000-b-version.html
I am using last stock 20151105 + visionary kernel + modem from stock ROM 20150725 - everythink work wery well. I recommend.

How is the battery life? I thought it was terrible, although I never tried it with visionary kernel.
The battery is 4000mah(measured with charge tool) and I can consistently get a days(12 hours) use from it with 4-6 hours of screen on time so that's probably one of the phones strong points!
36 hours battery for me (no games or videos) but good usage. Running eragon rom.
For me stock ROM is unstable, the battery drained very fast. Current on Eragon 6.7 and it can last me whole day with data on.
For me Eragon 6.7 50% end of day 1. Latest stock was almost empty at same stage.

How can i downgrade from this ROM to Froyo, as this is destroying my battery life? I think its because the processor is being forced to 1000 mhz. Any ideas?
Standard UK 2.2 gives me between 2 and 3 hours per 1% in standby now.
I was using Barebone 1.51 before my Defy been sent for warranty. The battery last 2 days with moderate usage,30 mins talk time/day,50 sms, some angry birds, good enough for me
You can use the same method of nandriod backup + fixed sbf to downgrade to your choice of ROM (if you have not flashed full sbf).
I m on CM7 latest nightly and it gives me around 70 hrs with average use..

I recently upgrade from Eclair to official froyo 2.2.2. Is that consider as flashed full sbf? And is that mean, I can't downgrade to orginal froyo if I flash to CM7?
upgrading to official froyo means full sbf flash. But by installing CM7 you can downgrade to froyo.
Title = Question.
The closest I got was the MIUI ROM that's up on the front page of the development forum right now. It was so close to working. It said "No SIM Card" but the calls worked!! And the -36 baseband was recognized! The only problem was that with that status message, the phone would not allow me to save any APN settings, therefore I could not get data access.
I also tried it with the -42 baseband. These should be the newest AT&T specific basebands available that are AT&T specific.
The real problem is, I can install 62 just fine, but it only supports the slower HSPA data speeds as these are for the R800i.
I don't really expect a solution but I thought I'd ask

Thanks! Do you use a specific CM9 build?
Also, which baseband do you use?
Do you have the call volume problems that many CM9 builds have? What about your proximity sensor?

I run FXP127 which I beleive was released fairly recently, Video does not work... ALTHOUGH if after installation you flash the Mjolnir4 Kernel and the modules (wont get wifi if you dont install the modules) the video works fine... the only problems I am having is the proximity sensor (just realized that today) as long as you dont leave the number pad up and close it when you dont need it, it doesnt bother me much. I am however going to research a fix for it this weekend.
baseband -62 It runs at the same speed as with at&t's newest BB I flashed back and forth from stock to CM9 ran speed test results are identical

Thanks again. The proximity sensor is one of those really tricky things. I don't mind Bluetooth audio not working, and other minor things like that. Video does have to work for me.
Actually I never had a problem with a non-working proximity sensor, except for Skype handling it very poorly. So I basically need it to work.
I have gotten all ICS roms that I've tried working on my AT&T play 4G(lol 4g). On some I may manually set the APN. I've tried KA11-14 Rom, Xdarkmario's Rom in .42 & .62 Firmware with Doomkernel ICS beta v.3, & CM9(can't remember which build) with CM's Kernel & recommended FW. I haven't tested for differences in speeds(data), but I got the H signal on all.
Edit** In NY area I hear that the. 42 FW with -56 baseband gets better call reception & less drops then newer .62 fw.

Hmmm, what (customized) Rom version are you using? I still have two DI2 - retired from CDMA duties but running GSM on Sense-based GB ROM and they are working nicely for our needs. One is on T-Mo USA network and the other is on AT&T network.
Have you tried a different GSM ROM at all? Some of the newer 4.x ROM are nice & cool but not ready as a daily, IMO.

Actually i'm using Pac-Rom 4.2.2 from chilly, the thread says that 4.2.2 are suitable for daily use, the phone is working nice but i dont have signal bars (i can recieve and make calls, send and recieve messeges) i tried some patch and other GSM tweaks, using the Stock (or any Stock Based Rom) is working completely fine but i cant stand Sense even the 4.0.4 leaked Rom works fine i haven´t tried another ICS Rom.
another detail using the *#*#4636#*#* menu the radio turns on and off if i try to set the APN.
thread of the Rom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2049902
Both VZW and HTC dropped the balls in supporting the Incredible 2, leaving it behind the times in GingerBread land, and some of the most active & best XDA-developers have since moved onto other devices for their primary daily use.
We are no longer on VZW or CDMA and switched to Nexus 5's running latest KitKat - but, since we still got two DI2 in relatively near new conditions, I continue to play around with them with GSM carriers.
There are a few stable & solid 4.x custom/ported rom that run nicely on DI2 and they are a good match for GSM services - the newest ones released recently/this month are in alpha/beta stages and not solid/stable enough. If you are having issues with yours, I suggest switching to & trying a different one instead - there's nothing wrong with Sense Rom and if it works, that's all that matter for me.
Try this one, works for me - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2291476

Not that I know of & I certainly don't recall discussions about it, way ahead of its time or arrival then in 2011-2012. Maybe the Jelly Bean ones could - to play with Xposed, I run back to our Nexus 5 and they are great for customization on our custom Rom.

anyone has the problem with data connection? I am using 4.4.4 with ARHD 22.2. My carrier is H2O Wireless (belong to ATT) with 4G LTE plan but the network signal is poor when i go in some buildings (My friend using iPhone with the same carrier and plan does not meet this issue) and the data connection is always showed H (regardless where i am) so the speed is poor too. Are there anyone facing the same problem? I am thinking about switching to another roms

I think it is the ROM.
I Googled "ARHD 22.2" to see if it may be a Lollipop ROM and if it might be that your firmware needed to be updated from 4.4.4, but all I got with that search was wifi and data issues.
Flash a new one. If you wish to remain on a stockish ROM, flash MaximusHD. That's a solid one.
If you want to do some tweaks and mods with those options built into the ROM already, and available with a simple click, ViperOne is great.
I tried Lollipop rom before but the battery drain is a big issue to me thats why I switched back to Kitkat and its battery life is totally different. So which rom do you recommend for kitkat?

Yes, you would need Lollipop firmware. You could flash the 4.4.4 version instead if you want. That was really solid. You can download it from here.
I want to ask you, what is the best stock rom that you have used so far, from wich country or region.
I currently use South East Europe - COC2 and my operator is Orange Romania.
i want to change my current firmware because i have battery drain when using the phone and i don't know what to choose.
Can you please answer with the name of the rom that you are using and the current operator
Thank you
On i9195 LTE I'm running COC2 but scStock debloated ROM with SilviuMik custom kernel latest v4. And I find this to be great on battery here in the UK using the COC2 modem. I use Xposed also with PowerNap/Amplify/Greenify. My over night standby usually averages at 5% over 8 hours and SOT usually around 4 and half hours.
