Frankandwendy, elephone still has no products here in the US. I have waiting for the release of the P9000 since last November. There lists of other phones comparable to the P9000, like Blue Vivo 5 or Honor 5x. Also Letv just released Let Max 2 which is US compliant and works on our network. Xiaomi is coming to the US. Now I hear that it will be released in May after testing. Don't you think that should have been done before it was promised back in November?

Elephone p9000 player problems
I close the official cover on the phone and the clock appears fine but when I try to use the player it states ' Not found LRC' What does this mean and is there any way to rectify this.Any help would be gratefully received.I do wish Elephone would put an in-depth manual on-line,as far as I can see there's nothing out there.

Hi Elephone
Can you please give us an estimate on when the P8000 is getting Android Marshmallow? I have looked it up but could not find any clear answer regarding dates.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I think in next March P8000 will get Android M. It's really a little late.
Hi @Elephone1,
Any news regarding MiUI or CyanogenMod port?

They are still on the road, some issues not be repaired yet.
Elephone, the sudden below 15% battery discharge is a common issue to a number of Elephone smartphones, namely the P7000 and P8000, at least. Why does this happen? Why don't we up to this day have any solution? Is this ever going to be solved? Thanks.

[NEWS]Sony Xperia X Device Sales Skyrockets In South Africa

We all know that the Xperia X, as supposed to Sony's new flagship, to be sort of a mix bag of a smartphone. As the phone contains the same specifications that you would get in a Smartphone that's twice as cheap as it already is. But it seems like advertising does pay off, no matter how bad a smartphone is.
I have actually noticed on South Africa's Vodacom (Vodafone ) website, how the Xperia X is a "Popular Smartphone," and that the phone's delivery "may be delayed" because of it. Not even other great phones, such as the Galaxy S7 or Note 5, get's the 'Popular phone' marking. As I further studied into this, I actually got some surprising answers from the Vodacom headquarters...
An other day ago, I have decided to contact the Vodacom headquarters and asked some questions about the Xperia X's sales. Their reply were...
"We had advertised the new Xperia X because of its great camera capabilities, and since South Africans love taking photos of their wonderful life, we have decided to advertise this smartphone more than the others. In fact, because of our advertising, we have gotten over 94 000 online sales last month from July to August 2016. We hope that we have answered your question.."
...And so I have asked them also about their S7 sales in the last month...
"We have also gotten reasonably good S7 sales in South Africa; around 70 000 sales online already in the last month."
So I told them thanks for everything.
It seems like advertising a Smartphone, no matter what the price or the specs, really delivers. We ALL know that there are alot of better smartphones out there apart from the Xperia X, but advertising something to look better then the other, in this case, the Xperia X over the S7, really shows what advertising can do.
So what do YOU guys think of Vodacom's smart strategy? Leave your Questions or comments about this down below!

Hi Fellow members,
Oreo can be provided based on the number of users requesting or wanting the Oreo update for 6X. If there are more number of users looking for Oreo update, Honor can plan to rollout the same.
I have prepared the Google form to collect the responses and based on the number of request, there can be Oreo rollout for Honor 6X. Please fill out the Google form and I will share the same with Honor team as soon as we have sufficient data. Wait no more and fill out the form.

Understood but any OEM can discard the phone just to increase the sell of new phones, Honor 9i, Honor 9 lite, Honor 7X. Atleast they are considering this 6X because it was one of the most selling phone and capable of handling Oreo. There are various teams and levels involved in such decisions. R&D (mostly consider new device), PR, marketing, Operations various teams need to be involved in such decisions and get the required approval before R&D plans for it.
This was a good move to get the response, collect the numbers and then send it to upper team for consideration.
BTW thats my point and I am not influenced here. Everyone can have different opinion

Seems Honor smartphone has become the favorite Christmas & New Year’s gift choice in India.
Is Honor really taking a leap in the smartphone performance? What do you guys think?
Because I’m planning to get a new Honor phone myself.
Its already ahead as you can see, people are just skeptical since there is no development and everybody is waiting for oreo.
apart from that the phone has got good potential and the quality is impeccable for that price point.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this device. I am not the kind who likes to spend a kidney on a new phone. $200 is right in the sweet spot for me. I have the Honor 7X (also in the US), you can ask me anything you wish about it. I bought straight from Honor because it was just a shy more than $200 with the Honor discount. Just wait though; I bet it will show up on Amazon.
hve tmobile, read my sim card will slide right in.

I agree that it's looking like Amazon will sell the 7x everywhere but the US. I'm wondering what promises Huawei made to AT&T to get it to carry the Mate 10 Pro. Unfortunately, I don't think carrier support will help Huawei enter the US market this late in the game. They lost their opportunity by dragging their feet; market penetration has slowed down sales. I'm not going to buy any brand of phone locked to a carrier. I'm a little leery of the battery life of the 7x as well as whether it really will get Oreo in the US; I will sit back and wait for some real life feedback from owners on performance and issues. I really think the Honor V10 looks better at half the price of the Huawei Mate 10, but I'm wondering if Huawei will only sell it in the US via AT&T.
Well, considering how well built this phone and its price, no wonder it's the best seller

Still no update and not able to join beta on PAR-LX1M

exactly what the title says, wasnt able to join the beta and there's no emui 9 update anywhere. I received December security patch yesterday but still no pie. Anyone else with the same problem?

I bought PAR-LX1M FOR 495$ And it is only 4 GB ram and No mods and custom roms for it and no official update for it cause huawei is idiot company so i sold it and bought pocophone f1 it is so much far better so it is advice you should do like me cause no future for huawei nova cause the company focus only on mate and P series.

You don't have to worry about updates.
I have the same device (same variant but you've paid a bit too much)
the update is being rolled out and you can already find it in the firmware finder
