Battery life support
I have been trying different custom mods [ cloudyrom2.5 , blisspop (nighty and official), CyanogenMod 12.1 niglty and stock lg g3.
I notice on custom ROM base on pure android the battery last about 4:50 hours on screen and I notice it is because all lg services. Of this answer the battery life issue.
..And what is the problem?
It just a comment about all the battery life issue and the benefits of going to custom rom

Hello.
Recently I flashed asopa 4.4.4 unnoficial for our phone. Is a great ROM but I don't get a lot of battery life, I read that in normal use you could have 13 hrs of battery life, but I get 10 at most. Happened the same with vanir and other custom ROMs , how do I get the best battery life in a custom ROM? With the kernel configurations I guess, but there is any kernel that could be as good as being on stock 4.1.2? What kernels are for custom gee ROMs? Which one you recommend?
Or what is the custom ROM + kernel combination that gave you the best battery life?
Hello! I've got a S4 mini black edition (GT-I9195 with stock 4.4.2) and as many other users I also noticed the battery drainage problems (standby uses too much battery). Is there no way of solving the battery consumption problem without rooting/flashing custom rom? (I don't care much for breaking knox as long as the problem gets fixed). I've read several threads about this issue, but still i need some advice on what's the best solution available these days.
Thanks!
You can try any custom kernel like on below ::

or this :: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-mini/development/kernel-brisk-v1-drain-patches-t2852609 thanks to @TheBootloader
Or you can try any stock based custom ROMs. Check out the " android dev " section.
Without root I am not entirely sure how we can improve battery as main problem is with stock kernel.
Thank you sasank360! I did read the brisK thread before maybe I should it. What do you think its best, those custom stock roms or a cyanogen mod? I'm looking to solve that particular problem only.
Cyanogenmod 12 is great ROM. But for me the battery life is lower that other ROMs I tried. In daily use of about 14 hours I get over 2 and half hours of screen on time with cm12
All lollipop ROMs give me same result. But stock based roms give me atleast 3 hours of screen-on time and I will still have 10% left @ end of the day. All custom kernels for stock based roms are same for me. For CM12 or any lollipop roms you can use @F4k kernel. It offers underclocking and undervolting options.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568479 This is link for f4k kernel.
I now belong to the "Knox 0x1 club", rooted and running CWM+brisK kernel, hope this solves the problem!

any stock Rom
Chupachups
Not many people think of them, but any AOSP rom should have better life than all other ones. Because you can customize everything down the the way your kernel runs, your be amazed how much battery life you can get on a ROM LIKE BlissPop
Hi all
So I have problem with battery drain on the newest XOSP build for Z00A. Battery drain is so huge when phone sleep or just listen music with offed screen. I had better battery life on stock MM rom. I had to CM 13 and 14.1 but battery life is ever worse than on XOSP 6.3. On system I have installated xospapps, gapps, amplify+greenify+powernap. .For me battery life on different custom roms looks liek that MM Stock Rom>XOSP 6.3>CM13>CM14.1. Maybe i should go for an older version XOSP. Thanks for any help/tips and sry for my english.
P.S I'll send 2 screenshots with battery stats on private message.
Hi I am facing a problem in my z2 plus which I purchased this January, I root the phone in march and then installed custom ROMs on a daily basis, I liked to try out the different ROMs available for my set, then I noticed that the battery life of my phone was decreasing, I thought it was because of a single custom ROM but no custom ROM gave me the perfect battery life, so if I install stock ROM will my battery performance be like it was ?
