Hello.
Recently I flashed asopa 4.4.4 unnoficial for our phone. Is a great ROM but I don't get a lot of battery life, I read that in normal use you could have 13 hrs of battery life, but I get 10 at most. Happened the same with vanir and other custom ROMs , how do I get the best battery life in a custom ROM? With the kernel configurations I guess, but there is any kernel that could be as good as being on stock 4.1.2? What kernels are for custom gee ROMs? Which one you recommend?
Or what is the custom ROM + kernel combination that gave you the best battery life?

Stock with custom kernel. Battery life is up to three times longer than on CM7 from phiexz, even on the same custom kernel from him.

This question is asked many times. Yes flashing a new kernel would help.
I advice you to flash NCX kernel.
You can read more about this or other kernels available for AOSP Roms in the Original Development thread.
EDIT: In my own experience, Sense roms have better battery life in comparison to AOSP roms. But AOSP roms come with lots of goodies! Easier life!
Stable xm is also good. I guess 188(v4)
You can not flash franco, since it is based on ICS source.
So will the NCX kernel work on CyanogenMod 10.1?? Will it help improving the battery life?
Sent from my HTC One X running CyanogenMod 10.1 (4.2.2)

I have been trying different custom mods [ cloudyrom2.5 , blisspop (nighty and official), CyanogenMod 12.1 niglty and stock lg g3.
I notice on custom ROM base on pure android the battery last about 4:50 hours on screen and I notice it is because all lg services. Of this answer the battery life issue.
..And what is the problem?
It just a comment about all the battery life issue and the benefits of going to custom rom
Hello, recently I just flashed my zuk z2 to bootleggers v3 rom, there are some bugs in it, and the battery life is terrible. I've been using the phone with stock rom for a year and battery life was better than it is in custom rom. What would you recommend me to do? Install other rom and custom kernel? Root it?

Which build?
Let me make this clear.. Gaming and battery life don't work with each other.. You want gaming, don't expect good battery life.. Or if you want battery life, don't expect decent gaming.. Other then that almost all the major roms gives 6 hours SOT on average usage and no gaming..
Who have use this 2 custom rom ,what is the best for battery backup and customization.
I dont care ,ambasadii rom is payd rom .i want know only from users who used both roms.
Tks,have a Nice day
I have noticed some improvement in battery life using BR. I'm using ThundeRStormS kernel with it, which has plenty more tweaks for battery life.
From what I understand, Ambasadii has its own custom kernel.
Short answer is they both improve over stock rom.
Once you have rooted, the sky is the limit for customisation.
