I hope the battery connector is not as horrible as the one of my droid Maxx. My Maxx has a serious problem with the contact between the new battery and Mainboard, causing the phone to go off randomly.

Just a quick question. I bought the Hong Kong 2700MAH battery with the back and it is better than my stock battery. But now I want more.
Since I already have a back for an extended battery if I get the 3500mah Siedio battery for the HTC Droid Eris will that work with my EVO? I know the Incredible and the Eris share the same battery. So in theory the Eris should work with the EVO correct?
Thanks!
I wanna know if the battery with Droid and Droid 2 is the same. Anyone?
Yes, there's a tear down on iFixit. There they mention the batteries are exactly the same rating and completely interchangable.
thanks mate.!
What about the Extended Batteries?
How is the battery life on the droid 2?

those prolly work but the covers might not
If I left my phone alone, it seems very capable of making it over 24 hours with nothing but text messaging and random phone calls.
It's too bad there's all this Motorola junk on here, the battery manager screen says its suckin' a lot of juice.
Over all, I'm very happy with my battery life. I just ordered a case, once I get it I'm going down to the Verizon store to see if the extended battery will fit. (with the case)
by the way, Google Voice integration on 2.2 is beyond perfect. I hope Verizon never catches on...
I purchased the extended battery from Verizon (1800 mAh) and am very pleased. I listened to podcasts all day (perhaps 6 hours using BeyondPod), had Audible open all day paused on a book, was driving through spotty coverage with antennae likely doing a lot of searching, watched some video and browsed the web, had e-mail retrieving for 3 accounts and ended up with 50%+ battery left at 11 p.m. My day started at 5 a.m.
Coming from an HTC Fuze, this battery life is amazing. As someone who normally works all day away from power, but likes to use a mobile device for entertainment, this thing is perfect. The extended battery from Verizon is worth it, and the slightly bulging door replacement works fine with the current hard cases they're selling.
Does the 1800mah battery work with the stock battery cover?
No.

The extended life battery from Verizon comes with a replacement cover. Adds around 1/16th of an inch to overall thickness.

Saw the pic looked a bit odd. What is the largest we can use with the stock battery cover?
Will the 1500mah battery from the Droid X work on the D2?
How much more battery life are you guys getting out of the 1500 out of curiosity?
Anyone please?

No - Droid X uses completely different battery.
You can use the droid 2 ext bat with d1, the cover will be bluish. To hide that you can use either the body glove (motdrdpcovbg / mota855covbg) front from D1, back from D2. The red one can also be used in that manner (from vzw). The front from D1, back (with spot for ext batt) from D2

I looked around here and other sites and can't find any info. When i had my DInc. 1 I swapped the battery with a HTC Evo battery. It had a higher mAh.
I just bought this one for $18
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/r...credible-myTouch/dp/B0055EP2CW/ref=pd_sbs_e_1
It arrived 2 days later and its charging now.
I just scored the mugen slim extended 1800mAh (no need for a larger battery door)...off ebay from best deal today, there are much cheaper ones on Ebay, search Droid incredible 2 6350 battery...
Battery from a desire Z would fit (G2) don't know of it's higher mAh though?
When are you getting that One X, rsarno???

This Thursday will end my 14 day trial period for the M. I have to decide whether to keep it or turn it back in and wait for the Maxx HD.
I am coming from the Thunderbolt so from a performance perspective the M beats it hands down. I like the size and the battery ALMOST gets me through a full day of pretty heavy use. But I have a feeling that I will pass the 14 day return period and then see/hold a Maxx HD and will realize my mistake. Bigger/better screen and mondo battery... Etc...
Although I am not a fan of bigger devices. I left the Thunderbolt for the Galaxy Nexus and went back to the Thunderbolt.
Anyone else conflicted??
Thoughts, considerations, comments, suggestions???

Totally a size thing. If I were ok with a big phone I'd get the gs3. Has everything that the M or Razr hd has, plus it actually has a good camera.
But I hate huge phones, so the M it is.

Yep. The M is a really nice phone, size, sound quality, loud, solid build, etc. It would have been just about perfect for me if Motorola used a bigger battery. I use on average 90 minutes of call time and after 8 hours, my battery is dead or close to it. Not sure if the new Maxx is going to do much better with a bigger HD screen. I have the Razr Maxx and before ICS, the battery life was much better, now, it is just slightly better than the M. The M charges fast which is a big plus for me.
If I had to choose now, knowing we're so close to seeing the new HD Maxx, I'd probably pass on the M and see how well the new phone holds upl you can always go back to the M. Yea, the size is great, but I'd rather have another 25% in battery life. With a 50% increase in battery size, that shouldn't be an unreasonable expectation. The smaller phone is what I want but battery life trumps size.
I'm interested to see what others say. My wife is currently running a Galaxy s and I'm going to get her a new phone soon. The M looks like it has good features for her as she has small hands.
I may just keep it, I have another line that has an upgrade that if the Maxx HD is better in will use.

Personal'm in doubt with a cell which will be the next to buy. I'm thinking of a phone that is good for games and has a good battery life. My doubt is Motorola Razr Maxx or Xperia S. Can someone tell me which of these two devices is better for gaming and battery life I do not care much for the considerations of the cameras. I'm thinking that after unlocking the bootloader and apply a kernel modifies the Xperia S would have a better battery life as the Motorola Razr Maxx will be I'm sure.
Motorola Razr maxx has the best battery life when comes to gaming and all, it has 3250 Mah battery , xperia s has 1750 mah battery , the difference is very great , go for the motorola !!
