Can anyone explain why Black Active Leather version is so expensive.
What exactly is the difference and is the black coating long lasting?

As far as I can tell, only the Black Metal band is available with the black case.
I really wanted (and was willing to pay for) the Black Metal Case / Black Mesh band. This is what they showed in numerous pre-release pictures, but apparently it is not available. I have not seen Black Metal Case / Black Leather band available either.
The black case is more expensive because apparently it is a true DLC finish.

I ended up settling for the base Stainless/Leather version because I was able to get one at a good price. I'll upgrade the band when I find one I like -- Possibly the "official" Huawei silver mesh.

i just recieved this new case from TPU-Cases that just came out. i already have the high gloss black and love it. this new diamond pattern one is different than any cases out there. when applied to the phone, it looks black because of the phone. the cool part is the backside with the diamond pattern. it isn't the same diamond/burberry type look that you guys are familiar with. the diamond pattern actually gives a elegant look. it magnifies the carbon fiber of the atrix case and the logo which makes it look amazing. i tried to take some pics but didn't come out so well. but better than nothing. at least you guys can get an idea. anyways, highly recommend it. beats any $30 plus case out there for less than $10 @amazon.

Let me help out with a couple of images here. Physically, it's just as good as the black-gloss version of this TPU case, which is pretty darn nice. I flip-flop between this smoke one and the solid black one; can't decide which one I like better. Both pretty cheap at Amazon, usually.

Bought this case as soon as it was available through AT&T. Was very pleased with it (I have the grey/black) but have since then moved onto ringke slim lite. I do still use it when I need extra protection since it does protect much better than the slim cases. I think when I bought the case it was around $14 because AT&T hadn't put it into their system yet. Would recommend for sure, has style and great protection.

Here's a quickpic of my white S3 wearing the lightgrey/darkgrey incipio silicrylic. You can also see my Fiio headphone amp at the back of my desk, which my phone and computer are both connected to... for powering my sennheiser cans.
I think the grey/grey just looks a little nicer, IMO. Less stark contrast between white & black. Too bad there's only 4 color combos to choose from, unless you get one of exclusives from the carriers (blue/black, or white/white)

As you can see from the photos, the clasp should provide stability in landscape presentation mode and protection while carrying the tablet. I originally bought Nillkin's V-Series case for myself and, as others have noted, liked the form factor and the reliability of sleep/wake mode but was disappointed that the cover didn't stay closed. The Dream Series case, while a tad ornate, seems to address that issue. .
I'm excited because this is the first time I've actually seen the Dream case offered on Amazon. I've been watching it on Nillkin's site for the past few weeks, but had only ever seen it for sale on Ali Express and the Chinese version of eBay.
I bought the black and white version because that's the color scheme my grillfiend will probably like best. I doubt the case will arrive for the next few weeks, but I'll take photos once it does.

Looks really nice man, would be very interested in something like that for myself if it weren't so ornate as you stated... I like the design of the stand, most of these notebook style cases fold into a tiny wobbly triangle at the base rather than what is pictured above...
I have a clear plastic case for the GPXL2 and use one of those metal plates you get with the magnetic car mount.

I wanted it to be white so it somewhat blends in with the white of the panda XL.
I tried spray painting the metal plate white but it wasn't smooth.
Anyone have any (cheap) suggestions on how to get a white metal plate?
Would Home Depot or someone similar have something suitable? I searched for white dog-tags but the cost wasn't worth the effort. Amazon had other colors butvthey were silver, gold or rose gold...just not white.
I figured there must be some panda 2 XL owners who have done something so that the beauty of the phone isn't hidden behind a solid color case as well as not having a black eye-sore metal piece between the phone and case.

couldnt you just buy white vinyl sticker/wrap and cover the black plate?
I tried using white "PlexiDip" to paint my metal plate. It didn't hold up well, mostly since I don't keep my in a case 24/7.
Maybe I'll look for a vinyl sticker/wrap.
Use Enamel paint. Let it dry for 24 hrs and you'll be golden.

What case are you guys using for your BS2? Any recommendations? I have the official cooling case but I need another one for a more casual, every day use. I don't like the official hard case as the edges of the phone will be exposed.
I do hope they release more accessory options soon like what they did for the Blackshark 1 and Helo.
