Hi
I got a used demo D851 (LG G3 for T-Mobile) on ebay. I love it! It's fast, big & beautiful.
When I first charge it, I noticed the USB port is a bit difficult to insert the cable. Yes, I know the micro USB is directional. I thought it might be a cable issue. After using it on different cables, it's still the same.
Do you experience similar issue with your D851?
Shall I exchange it?
Thank you for your help.
Best, J

No worries - it's just a standard cable.
I've used 3 non-HTC cables and my Touch works fine. One was even an unofficial PSP cable.
Go nuts and use any USB cable you can find. I have never had any problems in the last year. As a matter of fact. I don't even remember which USB was the one that came with my device.
I have used non HTC cables from eBay, but a couple of them recently stopped working (wouldn't allow ActiveSync). The cable that came with the phone seems to be better quality.
The USB standard is universal, any USB cable will work without damaging the device, as long as the heads match.

Hi is it possible to sold an USB-OTG and Charging Cable in one, because OTG is draining the Battery so fast
Greeds

Sorry can't be done.
It is possible with Livedock. OTG and charging in the same time, so I belive there is chance for SGSIII too.
It is possible with a diy cable. I made mine from and old micro usb to usb A data cable (the one you use to connect a phone to pc), a hardware switch i scavenged from an old radio and a usb extender cable (you only need the part that has the female port to stick other devices in like flash drives. i use the switch to toggle from usb OTG mode and standard data/charging mode to connect to pc. I think you can't charge and use usb OTG simultaneously. for that you could wait for a wireless charging mod.
I believe this might do the trick (have a look at he video as well).

Hello,
I'm looking for a good micro USB cables for Android debugging.
need to buy online few cables, the problem is that so far, all the cables I bought online, including OEM (who know what it's really mean) didn't work well.
So I'll be happy to get some recommendation on specific cable / seller ..
Thanks.
Unless the original cable doesn't approach?
Hi guys.
I have an situation here and would like to hear if any1 have any knowledge about it.
My LS980 has an bad Dock USB Jack flex cable. I know because i had another G2 to test it and this is
100% the problem. Now that i need to buy another flex cable i also need to know if the D802 GLOBAL
version of this cable will work on my LS980 version, this is because i also have an bad glass digitizer
and i have here an D802 Glass digitizer. The only difference that i can notice is the up side connector
of the digitizer like the pictures.
If anyone know if i can buy the D802 Flex Dock USB cable and make it work on my LS980 i will be
glad to hear about.
Thanks!
I am planning to buy the Nexus 5 X so I am buying cases and cables, I need a little help from the community. I will provide a link to a Xiaomi USB Type C adapter.

Is it safe do plug it no my original LG micro USB cable I have? I have an original cable of the LG G3 an the cable from Nexus 5 2013. Wil it damage my Nexus 5X?
The seller has a 100% feedback score and a considerable amount of shipped adapters.
Thanks in advance.
I would use a adapter for data and power charging but I wouldn't be confident at flashing till you know it's safe,
Since its official it should be fine, I got cheap generic ones for my cables. It's only charging so its fine
