Hi Everyone,
First of all I would like to say that I am new to this Forum, So please excuse me If this happens to be in the wrong section. I happend to purchase my Samsung Galaxy S3 (I747 ROGERS) Just a week ago and noticed an issue with the identification of my Simcard. It keeps reading "NO SIM" After further examination it turn out two of the "Sim Reader Pins" are damaged inside the device.
I decided to purchase the part from eBay:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/200850522564...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_3018wt_1378
& Decided to complete this Repair Myself by following this Youtube Guide:
START THE VIDEO AT 4:00 <------

(However) As you may have noticed this repair is for the (I9300) Version.
My Two Questions/Concerns are simple, Does the I9300 Resemble the same steps taken on a I747 Model?
& Secondly has any other forum member tried this Repair? As it does seem really simple.
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!
I had the same exact problem and followed the same video you posted. The only thing different is, I didn't unscrew the 2 top screws. replacing the sim card/microsd slot was a breeze. tools needed: screw driver and plastic knife
Good Luck
My Galaxy Tab 3 10.1" - GT-P5200 has turned off and does not charge anymore.
Tried with a couple of original chargers but it just does not respond.
It was never rooted nor flashed.
I have gone through almost all of the threads under Tab 3 troubleshooting but could not find anything helpful.
Will really appreciate if anyone can help me solve this.
Thanks.

Take it to service center.
I have a friend of mine who has a Note II which I am not familiar with (I have had every Galaxy S, so pretty familiar with Samsung), he broke his screen and the digitizer is broken also. I am trying to help him recover data/contacts/pictures/etc from his phone. It is on the latest stock ROM and has never been rooted or anything. Is there anyway this would be possible with ADB? I am pretty sure his USB debugging is off. He has a new Note II coming tomorrow from Asurion. He has experience taking the Note II apart because he has replaced his glass multiple times, I was thinking about recommending him to swap the motherboards out real quick just to transfer the stuff he needs to a computer. Does anyone know if this approach would work?

Has he tried just simply backing it up through Kies and just restoring it to his new phone?

No he hasn't. Would this work without being able to access anything on the phone? I have never used Kies.

Hi all,
WOndering if anyone can help.
I recently agreed to take a look at my friends SM-T210 Tab 3, as it was stuck in a boot loop and the screen was flashing and pulsing constantly making it impossible to do anything with the tablet.
I managed to reflash the original 4.4.2 firmware using Odin so the tablet now boots up fine. But, the screen still flashes in a pulsing fashion and also looks like it has really bad screen burn.
Could this be a hardware rather than a software issue?
He bought the tablet 2nd hand from ebay so I have no idea if it has been rooted previously or not. Would rooting the device solve a problem like this?
I can provide pics and potentially video if this will help
