camera issue after Flashing new cm-12.1-20151023 and xcelerate kernel - Xiaomi Redmi 1S

no camera after flasing the new CM12.1-20151023 and the new xcelerate kernel (oct-8)
help please how to fix this

Not use any kernel on latest cm12.1 because it based on kk kernel source

There is currently no kernel for CM12.1, Mokee and some others which have used new kernel sources. We need to wait for xcelerate to be updated. However, you can use R20 or lower version with xcelerate.

i was update RR 5.5.7 to RR 5.5.8 and flash xcelerate kernel build 21
i got camera issues, i can't run camera app
it always force close
it's the same issues?
what should i do?
back to base kernel or what?

Don't use custom kernel latest ROMs are based on latest kernel source and xcelerate kernel is not updated.

Which rom is stable and close to plain android?

I got this phone 2nd hand, but I cant stand the MIUI stuff. Any stable rom that offers a clean android experience?
I have tried to download the Cyanogen Mod 12.1 but the ROM seems to be offline.
you can try CM13, but it is still in the development stage.
what do you mean by offline??
Well, by offline I mean that the download link returns "request timed out".
ok try mokee 5.1.1 release version with xcelerate kernel build 24 its the best stable for now.... if you want to tweak audio then try viperatmos by guitardedhero........ and believe me this is the great experience i got till now with redmi 1s

Try aosp lollipop. It's the best and stable with xcelerate kernel. Try it.

ElementalX doesn't work on CM.

Any kernel can used with Android N?

I flash the AICP 12. And I tried to flash EX kernel and bluespark kernel. Both can enter system but many other unexpected issues. So does it means no kernel can be used with Android 7.0 now?

We don't have 7.0 kernel source so no kernel will work untill they're updated

Got it! Thank you very much! So we need to wait for the official 7.0 at first.

Please comment in english ! I am just beginner and I compiled stock kernel 15.1 for oreo but unable to get flashable zip. Phone is booting well and works smooth on lineage os 15.1 with stock kernel 3.10.108 and battery back up also decent. This technique can also be forwarded for pie rom but wifi error still there(wifi not getting on..)....still working on wifi issue...and also need help from a good developer to know how to flash oreo and pie kernels. i will release update once i got stable with oreo and pie roms:good:
until then If you are using pie ROM and want that pie kernel to boot on enforcing mode let me help you.:good:
What changes i can observe after updating kernal?

kernels are compiled directly from lineage source on date 21-oct-2018. Completely stock values. No features added to the kernel. Just made the kernels to boot either on on enforcing or permissive mode.:good: Battery life and volte depends on lineage sources (good or bad) and it is nothing to do with the compilation( just compiled from the source )
