I had to go out and get me a tmobile g2 and now here I am wanting to root it. I am tech savvy enough to understand the directions I have found as to how to root the g2 but I have run into a few problems. I have done the adb and pushed everything to the phone I get all the way to the end and it installs super user but will not do anything with busybox. It will not and cannot find it installed even though i have used adb and sent it to the phone directory. when I look through astro i find busybox on my sd card but it never shows when i try to finish rooting. I have done a factory reset and am back to square one. I have heard so many neg things about visionary and than i read all over the place that it no longer works after the ota update. If there is someone that can work with me to maybe give more clear instructions and give me answers if there is a problem I would greatly appreciate it. This is my first time doing anything to my phones other than using them stock.
Part of problem
In case anyone ever does read this,...part of the problem I think i have found is that my device is nand locked. So another wuestion here than would be is how to remove this to root my phone.
Hello. I'm very new here, and I have a problem, and I'm desperate.
I rooted and unlocked my HTC One (M8) on Sunday. The reason? I wanted one stupid boot animation, that's all I wanted. I had no idea what "rooting" it and all that did, all I knew is that I had to do it to get my own animation. Not to say I didn't do my research. I searched lots and lots, reading a lot of articles and everything.
Now, it's rooted and unlocked, using SuperSU and TWRP (I think that's the right info, like I said I'm new to this). I've been trying for two days now to get that stupid animation to work, but to no avail. I've looked at it all.
Now here's my actual problem. Now knowing that I won't get the animation to work (I'm done with trying) I started to panic. I started realizing my warranty is gone, and that I'm dead if anything happens to it. I don't want that. I need it. I need help. It's lame, but I'm scared.
So my question is, is there any way to unroot and lock it? I just want everything back to stock. I want it how I got it. Please help. If there isn't a way, I guess I'll learn from my mistakes. But if there is a way, please help me out. I beg of you. I'd be more than willing to answer questions if you have any pertaining to my problem. Yes, I know I shouldn't have done all this, especially since I have no knowledge of it, but that all doesn't matter now. It's done and I need help. Step by step would be optimal, as, again, I'm new to all of this and don't really understand any of it.
Edit: Not sure if it's vital information, but I used the Sakitech step by step guide on how to root the HTC One (M8). I can't post the link, but it's the first video when you YouTube how to root it.

How to Unroot your HTC One, and Relock the Bootlo…: http://youtu.be/sGdY2ehJMvk
I recently bought a nexus 7 (2013) model from amazon, its on 5.0.2. I used wugfresh root tool kit to update the drivers, unlock the boot loader and then root it. However when I rooted it I got stuck at the twrp screen and then the toolkit timed out. I clicked around and got to a screen with red writing (I tried to post a link to it but can't because I'm new here, I can send the link if needed I feel like it could be helpful.) I used my PC with the toolkit and plugged my nexus into my PC. I'm not sure what I did wrong or honestly what I'm doing for the most part. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. If more info is needed for me to receive help please ask and I will answer to the best of my knowledge.
I am not familiar to rooting so if you're going to try to harass me about not knowing anything please do not post. I'd like friendly helpful people as I have already stated I don't really know much about this. Thank you to anyone who can help I really appreciate you taking your time to help me
Hello dude, are you sure your bootloader is unlocked? I mean when you turn on the N7 is there any chain unlocked on the bottom of the screen?
I would personally advise against using root toolkits like Wugfresh, because if you learn exactly what's happening in the root process, it'll help you in the long run.
What I would do is hold the power button until the screen turns off, and then try the root process again. If you don't have a lock symbol below the Google logo when you boot up your tablet, the unlock wasn't successful and you need to re-unlock it. Then you should restart the rooting process again. Hope this helps.
I bought a used lgg3 running 5.0.1 a few weeks ago and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to fix the root on it. I'm not a complete noob, but im not also the most experienced in rooting.
I purchased it for the sole intention of Pokemon Go (little did i know they would shut out root... -.-)
SO, my main question is...
whats the best way to go about fixing this thing without bricking it or screwing it up any further?
There was no SU, no busybox, no anything, but it is rooted, just somehow screwed up. the kid mentioned kingroot, but he said thats all he knows.
Any other information you may need, just let me know and ill get back asap!
I appreciate any help i can get

Flash the stock rom from either here on XDA or with the actual LG updater.
Hello guys,
I'm needing some help as I'm about to just give up on getting my note 4 rooted. I'm following the instructions from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...tep-step-stock-n910v-6-0-1-to-t3426905/page22
Along with every other root + unlock thread in this phone's forum sections, and still am failing.
I have yet to get it to unlock. Most of the time I'm lucky to be able to get temp root. If I do get temp root the phone will just bootloop either before I do the unlocking commands or immediately afterwards. I always have had to Odin back to 5.1.1 and start over.
Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong? Please, any help is appreciated - I'm desperate to get this phone going as I just bought it - it sucks I can't really use it yet. Hopefully I don't end up just giving up on it.
@droidian1441 by chance did you make any progress?

Yes I did. I ended up killing three sd cards with no hope of return, but I just kept at it until it finally just did it. Not sure it was worth killing three sd cards, though.
