12a MMS (Solved) - Verizon LG G4

I am on 12a rooted. Today I tried to send a picture message for the first time since the 12a OTA. It will not send for anything. Always says Send Failed. Would you like to retry? I've tried a bunch of stuff; switching network modes, re-flashing my rooted system image, factory reset, nothing works. But I can receive pictures. I've checked MMS registration and it says Registered. Anyone else notice this problem or any ideas as to what may be the problem?
Thanks
EDIT: Had to do with APN settings but had to use shortcut master to get into the MMS hidden menu and reset the APN.

Can you explain the exact steps you used in that app to get to that menu and successfully do this?

MMS problems

Hi,
I have problems with sending mms. Don't get any errors, or anything. The process just stops and the message get status "pending".
Have called my vendor, but they couldn't help. The just said that this phone is so new that they don't know how to change the settings.
I'm using Telenor, Norway.
Thanx in advanced,
Joachim.
Edit: I can also mention that I can receive mms.

[Q] Updated with Kies, the Update Service message won't go away?

I just updated to KL1 though Kies successfully, but the annoying' T-Mobile update service' message won't clear from my Notification bar.
I've tried rebooting, but it comes right back. I've also tried going through the update steps on the device, but it never does anything. There's no option that I can see to clear this message like other notifications .
Does anyone know how I can clear this notification?
try a factory reset. that was happening to me too and it went away after the factory reset.

I had considered that too. However after I re-rooted my device I did some searching in System App Remover and found the apk that was causing the notice. Unfortunately I didn't write down the name of the apk, but it had the same icon as the one next to the update notification. I believe it was some combination of tmobile and update.
Sorry to be vague, I was pretty much going at it blindly before resorting to the full factory reset.
Just a word of cation, deleting that apk also seems to have killed the phones ability to check for over the air updates. When I check for updates in settings, it doesn't give the normal 'no firmware' message. Not a problem if you're using Kies, but just thought it was worth mentioning.
If someone having the same issue happens to find the proper name of the offending apk, please post it. Thank you.
In TB I froze the apk 'device management V10.2.1' and the updates went away. Unfreeze it and reboot and they come back.
Had same issue. Rep @ T-Mo says Samsung pushes the update for them so they can't do anything about it. It's a known issue and it's supposedly being worked on by Samsung. ***** @ them.

APN Settings Crash

Hi. I recently flashed and rooted my Xperia Arc from Rogers to ICS I was quite proud of myself and spent an entire day. Anyways long story short. I've had a few issues since then.
1. My keyboard settings seem to stay the same (EG: I keep having things spell checked even if I change the settings and save them)
2. I have a notification that says "Internet & MMS Settings Could not download. Tap here to try again."
I have a feeling they are connected.
So. From what i have learned from other threads and people experiencing this issue it means my APN settings are all out of whack because of the flash to ICS. I finally hunted down the APN settings I need from Rogers on their website. And as I was entering this in. Settings crashed.
"Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" I have restarted my phone numerous times and experimented with wi-fi and data being turned off/on. Nothing is helping me with the crash.
I just now also factory reset my phones settings.
How do I get rid of this error so that I may fix the problem I had to begin with?
Also... The error for internet settings disapeered...
But I still think Im unable to use the MMS etc.
No one knows how to help me out ? It must be fixable.
i had the same problem
i think i reflashed it and that fixed it

Seriously though. I don't see how re-flashing and rooting will help me T_T. If I end up with the exact same "Could not download internet & mms" settings stuff again.

after you reflash your settings will not crash when you go to the apn setting
then you have to manually enter the internet settings

For what its worth, whenever I'm flashing a new rom ( which is like most weekends) I keep a few screen shots on my sd card of my apn settings.
where I am in Australia the automatic downloading of internet and mms settings doesn't accurately pick up my carrier, so it never works for me. but yeah, i found screen shots were a handy way to keep the info handy.

I have the same problem. Did you factory reset through the settings menu or through recovery? When you did, did it erase all your apps, folders, pictures and so on? Thanks
Unable To Receive Sms
Having same problem with my E 975 running HK Stock rom. I am able to send sms but unable to receive. It almost always happens when my phone turns off after battery dies out. When i turn my phone back on, sms reception is not working. Often takes me many restarts until reception starts again. Any solution please ?

Sprint APN Issues, could anyone please help?

Phone worked flawlessly until I rooted & installed TWRP last week, I keep getting an error about my APN every so often and I can't access alot of websites and my text messaging fails. The phone worked fine for the first couple days after rooting though. The only thing I can do to temporarily fix it is a reboot. I tried some Google found settings to manually update it inside Textra (no option to update it on the phone, there's no APN settings under "carrier" menu in setup. It works a little better, but I still constantly get the error and have issues. Also it never allows me to update PRL or profile now too.
Any suggestions on what the deal is? Will have to give up root and reinstall the stock image from Google? I appreciate any help!
I tried to delete my post... this is the best i can do.. no delete button
