I dropped skyraider 3.0 onto my phone and now the phone wont take any other rom. I tried cm6, virtuous, and the leaked 2.2 stock rom and none of them get past the boot animation. After a few tries skyraider decided that it was going to nuke my rom manager which now force closes like a mother ****er. Every time I go to open it it instantly force closes.
I tried the guide to downgrade from the 2.2 ota to 2.1 but that **** didn't work, I assume because the process was made for an unrooted 2.2 stock rom. So, does anyone have any ideas how I can get this ****ing skyraider off of my phone or how I can get back to factory 2.2/2.1 so I can start over again?
inb4 nandroid backup, didn't back up because I loaded SR onto the phone once I rooted it so my nandroid backup is skyraider.
Are you wiping data and cache partitions in recovery before flashing?

yes i am, why in the **** can't i just say yes to this question and post it? When I do it says that my message entered is too short... this should do.
Such language is uncalled for on this forum.
Sorry, I'll watch the vulgar language. Anyway, I finally got my phone to load the leaked 2.2ota but I still have root access and what have you but I can't get any other Rom to load. When I try to download and apply a Rom from Rom manager instead of booting into recovery it boots to a screen with a little android robot with a error triangle. If I tap the power button recovery comes up but it says that it failed to read update.zip. any ideas on how to revert to uprooted 2.1 so I can just start over to how to get one of these other roms working.l?

Check out this post. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768295
I tried it and it didn't work, everything went fine until I tried to flash mtd.img with the adb shell. When I jump into adb shell from my windows machine it comes back with $ user control rather than #, which isn't root access so it wouldn't let me flash the image. Which sucks because the phones rooted :/
So it looks like i'm back to square one, anyone know how I can unroot?
Please don't refer me to any more threads or forums........
I'm sure this has been done and done and talked about but I've been reading the **** out of forums and comments for a few hours now and trying to unroot my Sprint LG G2.
I had it running stock like a champ. rooted it. worked great. then I was attempting to flash lollipop and it required a recovery update (No Problem) I downloaded the correct files and bam! it says your phone is not rooted this requires a root (or something like that) I was already rooted SuperSU installed and root checker said I was fine. so what the hell I swipe to root while inside recovery and it goes to some black screen with tiny text saying fastboot: processing commands and won't leave the screen. I tried booting into recovery and same thing happens. Tried to reboot normal and I'm stuck on the LG logo with my led flashing between blue and green slowly. I CAN boot into download mode and I'm following this

and this

to unbrick but having this error "Failed PreviousLoad()
Did I not get the right .dll file? I doubt it cause I only saw one...or is it the wrong .tot file? there was 3 or so

Please help!
When i'm in download mode the phone does say I am rooted. is there a way to just re-flash recovery and restore from my backups I did before all this? if I have to wipe this thing clean and start over I don't really mind I just need to get my phone back haha this is the first time this has ever happened to me and I consider myself tech savvy so idk what I did here (except re rooting in recovery like an idiot) thanks so much!
First question, is the download mode you see with a small status bar or the big one?
If you have the big one, download mode should work. The f flash software will verify the tot file. If that goes through you should be golden.
When it asked you in TWRP to root, that is a message telling you system or ROM file did not take.
If you want cm12, use zv8 tot. Root, auto-rec, update TWRP with blastgator bumped TWRP 2.5.1. Flash cm ROM or aosp, then gapps. And go
Hi guys,
I have the t-mobile s6 edge
After messing around with my device last night and this morning, I decided to go back to stock for a bit.
I have ODIN 3.10.6. I went into download mode on my phone. extracted the stock firmware from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6-edge/general/sm-g925f-s6-firmware-thread-t3078841
loaded the "G925TUVU1AOCG_G925TTMB1AOCG_G925TUVU1AOCG_HOME.tar.md5" file into the ap box for odin
connected my phone to computer, odin recognized it. hit start. ran successfully. rebooted, android guy came up briefly and said installing system update, then it changed to "Erasing..." then it rebooted again
now it's just bootloops forever after the tmobile screen. I can boot to recovery and it says installing system update each time I boot to recovery, but selecting reboot system there shows a no command error. force the phone to power off... power on again to bootloops.
tried to go into download mode again and reflash everything through odin, same issue!
I started last night by rooting using chainfire, then installing TWRPv2, then I flashed the 5.1.1 ROM available from @eousphoros (sorry for the tag, just thought you might want to be apprised of the issues in getting back to stock after using the 5.1.1 ROM).
with 5.1.1 loaded, smart switch didn't recognize the phone for a reset so I decided to go with the ODIN method and now i'm in bootloop city
any help would be greatly appreciated

You probably need to do a factory reset
In the future you should make a full backup before installing a rom

AHH!! Sorry to have made this post... here's what I did to get it actually boot:
reflahed the stock firmware through odin again, tried to reboot, it failed, obviously. rebooted to recovery, factory reset in recovery, power down option in recovery, then turned the phone on again and it magically worked!
hopefully this post will help someone who encountered the same issue

I had the same excat same thing happen when flashing this via Odin. I didnt need to Odin stock twice though . I just booted stock recovery and did a factory reset. After that I went ahead an powered down and rebooted . All good now
How long did you have to wait in the stock recovery to get past the "installing system update" screen? Mine just sits there and I'm unable to view other options in recovery.
EDIT for noobs (like me): wait 30 seconds on the "installing system update" screen.
I'm still stuck in boot loop
Im in the same exact situation , but I'm still stuck in boot loop. I followed your restore instructions and nothing. Please help.

Looks here, may apply to your case. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=63226466
Pp.
I initially used odin to flash OI1 update, after a rom I was using caused problems and I got bootloop. It changed bootloader value to b:3 and I'm unable to downgrade now so I used smart switch which didn't recognize device so used emergency recovery and still bootloop. I have factory reset and wipe cache multiple times along with adb side load and individual flashes of bootloader, modem, kernel, flashed custom kernel and twrp to access fix permissions and to mount partitions with advanced wipe etc and still wont boot past logo. Also during one fix attempt phone said can't mount system.. Idk I'm not understanding where the problem is .everything says successful but I'm still in bootloop. Please help. I've spent hours everyday for the past week searching & trying different things that seem might help so open to any suggestions.

I'm new to the whole ROM flashing and using Odin. I had a bootloop problem and recovery mode showed all the options but has a green android man laying down with red icon above him and No Command below the android man. Tried the factory wipe and cache wipe but it gives some red writing with the word failed in the coding and the word error under the android man. Tried to flash a stock ROM from sammobile using Odin. Odin gives a pass but the same problems persist. Can someone please help?

Hello all,
I have downloaded CM 12.1(Lollipop 5.1 09-10-2015) to install. Then I tried recovery mode, got secure boot error. I don't remember the page, but from here in xda, I found some solution, which I entered some codes to code terminal involving aboot.img. Somehow it worked and I used TWRP to install CM 12.1. It works fine.
Then I wanted to go back to stock, downloaded LGFlashTool. Problem starts here. When I tried to enter download mode(volume up) it installed the driver to pc. Then my phone went to download mode, but on top of the screen there was "Secure boot error" message. I looked into driver installing at first and it was qhsusb_bulk.
I have searched on xda and over the internet then, but I didn't find a solution. All the solutions for completely gone G3s.
To sum up, my problem is I can't go back to stock ROM because of the secure boot error in download mode. TWRP recovery works, I can use my phone with CM 12.1 Nightlies Android 5.1 but I can't go back to stock ROM since download mode is not working(secure boot error). I have .kdz file, and now downloading 2.1 GB tot file(not sure where to use). I also have bootdiag, which may be a solution.
I really want to fix it and go back to stock. Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone,
Let me apologize before hand because I am a little new to rooting androids. I have searched and searched and nothing seems to work for me. Anyways here is my story. I had my phone rooted with twrp and supersu but on lollipop. I thought it was time to upgrade so I decided to go to the HTC Website and locate the RUU. I downloaded the one in that link and installed it. Everything booted up fine. I installed TWRP and rebooted and it worked. I installed SuperSU as according to this LINK. The only difference is I had already put the zip file on my sd card before loading into TWRP. Moving on. This is where it started to mess up. I rebooted my phone afterwards and was stuck loading and then reloading at the HTC screen for 25 minutes. SO i decided this must not be working so i loaded back into TWRP. I tried DLing different versions of SuperSU and still rebooting at the HTC screen. As of right now my download mode says ***** UNLOCKED ******* S-ON. My OS is 3.38.502.12 and when I had originally installed TWRP my OS said Android 6.0. I am now trying to go back to the RUU and get it to flash the rom again but after hitting next on the installation exe it closes and does nothing. I have tried to look for a ZIP file but HTC apparently hasn't come out with one.
If anyone can help me I'd REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks in advance
Waffle
Alrighty I'm dumb. I finally got the RUU to work and was able to flash the ROM to default. Now back to trying the TWRP and Super SU install again =D hopefully doesn't bootloop again.
you need a new supersu zip, 2.46 is way too old
