Anyone still have these problems?
Watching Youtube on the app. I keep getting an error " there was a problem while playing please touch to retry " The only way I can make this work is restarting the phone. I'm able to watch maybe 1-2 videos till it happens again. Uninstalling and reinstalling YT doesn't fix it. though YT does work when i dont use the YT app.
Using the camera to take video. Similar issue with youtube. I'm able to take maybe 2-3 videos till it gets an error "an error has occured" Only way to fix this is restart the phone. Which again only allows me to take 2-3 videos till the error happens again
Anyone with these issues and have found a fix to these? Iv searched around and havnt seen anyone mentioning these or having a solution to them.
This last few updates of yt have been acting funny. I know it isnt my phone. Because when on wifi its weird when on lte its fine.

Please help..... I get this error after watching a few minutes of streaming video. Or sometimes it happens right after the video loads.
After the message pops up the video and audio is still playing fine in the background, but once i click "ok" to acknowledge the error, the video just quits....
Am i the only one experiencing this or what!

Same here. Anyone found a solution for this yet?
Hi,
i searched the forum but i didnt find anything, so here is my question.
When i watch a video with the normale youtube app from froyo, the videos stop playing after some minutes, so i can never watch the end. It just stops and an error pops up. Then the video closes. I'm watching in HQ with WiFi.
Anybody else got that problem?
There seem to be some connectivity issues to Google/YouTube today. Maybe this could be related.
I still got the Problem. I even did a hard reset.
Same problem here... hm, I guess it's a youtube server problem
Lets hope it gets fixed soon.

I'm having the same problem on 4 different mobile devices (2 phones, 2 tablets) al of which were working fine yesterday.
The problem is obviously from youtube.
They are making horrible changes.
Subscriptions don't appear on the home page anymore. We are now forced to see what they choose to throw at us.
Very sad!
same here, then is not my tablet, hope they fix it
I see, i thought it was my tablet, it does look like they're doing changes for the worse :/
same to me.
Is anyone else having problems with media link since the lollipop update?
Mine wont go into landscape mode, it stays portrait. Also it is acting like a screen mirror, ie I cant stream a file then do other stuff on my phone for example check, texts, emails.
is anyone else experiencing similar?

Yes, I am. Ever since I updated my m8 to lollipop, the media link has become useless. Video files are no longer buffered by the media link and then played perfectly on screen. Now I get same as you, just the phone being mirrored on screen so I get a low res picture that stutters constantly. It's unwatchable.
I had to get my old One X out the drawer which works perfectly with the media link.
I can't find any more info about the issue online. Will need a fix soon or at least a way to uninstall lollipop so I can go back to having a phone that works again. Thanks Google!
same here on my M8 after upgrading yesterday......
I got on to live chat with htc. Initially they were claiming the device was behaving normally. Then they disappeared to speak to a senior to find an answer, only to reveal that they had never heard of this problem before and don't have a solution to it nor do they know when they'll have one.
It may be worth everyone who is experiencing this problem to get on to htc so that they'll provide fix.
I've been having this problem since updating to lollipop and spoke on the phone with htc who told me that there would be a update within 5 days to fix the problem, that was about 11 days ago, I'm getting back on to them tomorrow and I'll let you know what they are saying
I've been back on the phone to htc and they said they tried a update but it failed and we have just got to wait, no help at all, they did however offer to book my phone in for a repair but they don't have a solution to the problem so how are they going to fix it, i declined, I'll keep you posted
Any updates or solutions to this problem?
No, every time i call Htc all i get is were working on a fix, just keep calling them
I have the AT&T G4 and I'm using the latest firmware and the latest update for YouTube. I've noticed this for the past few versions of YouTube and I haven't been able to fix it. I can watch videos for roughly 20-30 minutes and then the video starts freezing and acting like it's loading but it's already loaded most of the video (100+mbps wifi) and it doesn't stop, I can close the app and reopen it and it continues. I have to set it aside for a while before it stops doing it. I don't think that its a ram problem and I'm thinking that its a overheating issue, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem and are there any fixes or workarounds?
