Live Wallpaper - Elephone P8000

Hey all,
Whenever I reboot my P8000 after I set a non-stock live wallpaper, it changes back to the default wallpaper. Why is this and how can I prevent this from happening?

I had no such problems on Stock ROM
Try to reset to factory settings or flash a new firmware 1014

[Q] Wallpaper woe

I am running the following rooted stock version of Froyo:
[ROM] [21/09] Pre-rooted Stock Froyo (2.10.405.2) [Optional mods]
All is well, except for my wallpapers. The phone is stuck on the HTC 'bubbles' live wallpaper and I am unable to change to it anything other than another live wallpaper that is installed on the phone.
When selecting a standard HTC static wallpaper, the built in browser shows no wallpapers at all. When choosing a file I have downloaded to the phone, a pop-up informs me that the wallpaper has been changed, but it stays on the 'bubbles' one.
Oh, and if I select a photo using the Gallery and then chose "set as wallpaper" it still doesn't happen and tells me that process.com.htc.album has stopped.
Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] Widgets background problem

Hi,
I am using RunnyDrOiD v5.0 on my desire z with sense 3.5 / Android 2.3.5
Out of sudden, and without installing new application, I am not able to see the background of the widgets (weather, clock, mail ...) and the icon description on the screen locker are showing in big red.
Attached are the pictures of whats going on.
Any idea what is the problem and the possible resolutions? Hope I don't have to install the ROM again and wipe data.
Thanks in advance.
Seems like your launcher doesn't start properly.. If rebooting doesn't solve your problem, then you can try to reflash without wiping. All System files are then put back to their original state, but your settings and installed apk's are not touched.
If that doesn't work, I think that you'll have to reflash with a full wipe.

Thanks man... SOLVED!
Re-flashed the ROM without wipe and everything works fine now.
Any idea why this happened? so that to avoid in future.
Saldy I have no clue.. Most likely there were some settings wrong or the launcher took to much ram memory to start properly, but I can't tell for sure. If this happends again, just reflash, and it works again.

Wallpaper Issue running Jellybomb Rom 2.0

Hi,
First time posting here but I've been rooted and flashing roms for about a year now. I'm having a problem with keeping the stock wallpaper that comes baked into the Jellybomb Domination Rom. I'm running the kernel that comes with the rom. I've deleted all downloaded wallpapers from my gallery, but as soon as I flash the rom and choose a launcher, it reverts back to the previously deleted wallpaper. I can't figure out where the heck it's pulling the old image from. I've cleared cache, dalvik cache and I've even done a data-reset, but the deleted wallpaper is still somewhere. Has anybody come across this? I've been searching ES File Explorer for hours but can't find anything. Also forgot to mention, the wallpapers were downloaded from Wallpaper Casa. I know it's not a huge issue, but I like the stock Jellybomb wallpaper and the dev hasn't posted them.

If you are using custom ROM, try flashing specific GApps
(For 5.1.1 flash 5.1.1 GApps)
OR
Try wiping dalvic cache/cache/factory reset
If you are on stock ROM, maybe it's a bug. Hope Samsung will fix it soon

I just wanted to add a fix that worked for me so I didn't have to do a factory reset. If you have twrp custom recovery under wipe or advanced there is an option to repair a partition. Select system and swipe the bar to repair and the "unfortunately..." message stopped when accessing a mode of settings that accessed a shortcut via activities in nova launcher that allows for turning off cell radio. It also stopped the "optimizing app" message I got every time I rebooted.

Default Lenovo launcher on every reboot. How to set permanently another launcher?

Ok, so my problem is somehow stupid. I've installed evie launcher, made it my default but every time I reboot my phone I'm welcomed by Lenovo Launcher. How to fix this irritating issue?
Nope, I do not want to install custom roms, all I need is a rooted stock with custom kernel I tried to make evie system app but it didn't work for me, also I want to keep LL "justincase".
Found a temporary solution. Renamed Lenovo_Launcher.apk to Lenovo_Launcher.apk.bak.
