I am running the following rooted stock version of Froyo:
[ROM] [21/09] Pre-rooted Stock Froyo (2.10.405.2) [Optional mods]
All is well, except for my wallpapers. The phone is stuck on the HTC 'bubbles' live wallpaper and I am unable to change to it anything other than another live wallpaper that is installed on the phone.
When selecting a standard HTC static wallpaper, the built in browser shows no wallpapers at all. When choosing a file I have downloaded to the phone, a pop-up informs me that the wallpaper has been changed, but it stays on the 'bubbles' one.
Oh, and if I select a photo using the Gallery and then chose "set as wallpaper" it still doesn't happen and tells me that process.com.htc.album has stopped.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm on bonsai rom. My question is when I first flashed bonsai rom and I then decided to put a theme on it I flashed it and the wallpaper changed to match the theme. This last time I flashed bonsai rom I changed the wallpaper to a stock one that was on the phone. I then flashed the theme and everything flashed correctly except the wallpaper didn't change. I've tried my three favorite themes and it's all like this. Why does the wallpaper change when I don't change the original wallpaper but if I changed the wallpaper to a stock one before I flash the theme it won't change the wallpaper it just leaves the stock o e there and themes everything else? How can I get the wallpaper to match my theme? thanks
strange, I installed viper rom and same thing happened. When I reflashed it, I had a wallpaper of mine.
This had been an issue across two phones for me. This is my solution and other themers should do this as well. I open launcher2 and overwrite one or two of the wall papers (stock) with ones for the theme so all you have to do is long press on the screen and use the regular wallpaper menu.
The wall paper is inside the zip in system/framework/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi/default_wallpaper.jpg you call pull it out and manually place it on your sd card.

Default_wallpaper.jpg I have that file on my SD card and its the pic that matches my theme I have installed. How do I over write a stock one with this one? Thanks.

Ive read the instructions for themeing , and while i can see rooting , but to me its just easier to change wallpaper in dI18 stock.
not trying to knock you but sometimes i think we tinker too much lol
I have the wallpaper on my Sd card and I open up launcher2 and I can see all rlthe wallpapers there but I can't figure out how to overwrite a stock one with the one on my SD card. If I click on one I can view it and if I long press I get extract. I just be doing something wrong.

Here's my stand on the wallpaper issue. The framework has a default wallpaper.jpg. So when you flash a rom it displays the default wallpaper. When flashing a theme it changes that default wall paper. No if you changed your wallpaper before flashing the theme the default wallpaper gets changed but you already changed the default wall paper. This is why I provided both wallpapers in my op of mg theme thread. I dunno how to write the edify script to add something to the sdcard. Once I figure that out the wallpapers work be on your sd card if you choose to use one

Well I figured out a way to get it to work. I took the wallpaper that I pulled from the framework and pasted it into my dcim/camera and just selected gallery and then that photo for my wallpaper.

Been running Revolution HD rom for a while now, for the first time since i had this rom i wanted to take a picture.
My camera only takes black and white pictures. I changed all my settings, did try to restore to default settings but nothing seems to work.
Can this be an issue with the Revolution rom or is my camera broken?

Did you do a full wipe when installing ARHD?
What about accessing the wizard menu? When opening the camera it's the second option from the left, there you can select various color styles - can you switch back to normal there?

This is an issue with the rom.
Download this http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2jeuj716p644j53
Extract the liboemcamera.so from system.img and push it to /system/lib/ onn your device.
Your camera should work now.
I have installed the following stock ROM on my wildfire.
RUU_Buzz_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.22.405.1_Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10_release_160191_signed.exe
However I get the Froyo wallpaper and nothing else on the screen. (everything else works OK)
Previously I had the default Sense widgets with weather and a large digital clock and five home pages, etc. which I liked.
How do I get these back?
Is your device S-OFF? In that case, you will need this fix:

Hello,
I have an old home screen wallpaper that was from an original photo I had taken a while bac . The photo was deleted off my phone but still remains as the wallpaper even after flashing and updating different updates.
Is there anyway to find that wallpaper? I have been going through the file manager app but no luck. Anyone here have any ideas on where to find it?
I recently got an S3, I rooted and installed the stock AT&T rom and then ran the Ashaman debloat tool. I never tried to access live wallpapers before or during this process, but I see they are missing. When I go to display settings and go to change the wallpaper, my only options are Gallery and Wallpapers, no Live Wallpapers. I've seen on others' S3 phones this is usually an option. Also, I found the apks for some of the default live wallpapers and tried to install those. They installed fine but when I tried to run one, it showed a pop up message that said something like "It looks like like wallpapers are not available on this device! Please check with the manufacturer..."
Does anyone know if I may have unintentionally uninstalled live wallpaper support? Or how to manually install it back in?

I'm guessing this is the cause.

Odin back to stock. Root. Try again (omitting the Live wallpaper option).
