This Rome is for the MT7-L09, but originally comes from MT7-L10 (Asia). According to previous experiences it only runs on the Asian MT7 - L10 and the MT7 - L09. KangVIP offers Rome but also for other versions.
So if a MT7-L09 has can use it.
Since I have no Mate 7 more, I can not even try! Experience has shown that it should run. Here I would welcome feedback.

- Load Rome and the Mate7.
- Mate 7 switched to the PC, go to the folder and run TWRP .bat. Thus TWRP is installed. If it does not want in the Fastboot, then switch off the appliance and run while holding Vol. Softly to the PC and then .bat.
- Ins TWRP boot and make a backup.
- Make factory reset.
- Now the Mate7 install EMUI3.1 B351.zip.

It is working really good on my MT7-L09, nice ROM it fixes the bugs that B324 had... the only thing its that there is no Gapps and there is a lot of chinese stuff... easy to unistall anyway....

You can flash open gapps (not pa gapps) without any problem, i have not any network problems, everything is in spanish in my case except chinese apps, i think it is a little better, but if you are ok on kitkat this is not that different... it is almost the same...

dirty flash in 324, everything works fine, a lot of chinese apps but removed with root privilegies.

I tested this rom yesterday. The rom has a lot of nice features, however, there are too many Chinese apps. If someone could remove all the Chinese apps this rom would be awsome.

The one in the right of the date is moon phases, you can disable it in advance settings->Lockscreen settings.
The bottom one i dont know, i think it is slide to unlock or something like that, in some themes is in english and in other in chinesse
Unfortunately, this can not be changed. In this issue you have to open it manually and rewrite.
Maybe someone could port some of the awsome features of this rom. For example, the ability of changing the DPI setting without altering the navigation bar position. Also, the option of resizing the navigation bar. Another cool feature is that you can add the network speed to the notification bar.

Get rid of chinese language
Got rid off those chinese stuff using the below methods.
1. Used tb to freeze those chinese apps.
2. There is some chinese writing still present on lock screen .to stop that follow the below step.
Settings-advanced settings-lock screen and desktop settings---untick the lunar calendar--done.

Here is a methode to remap the hard keys functions as you want, I've done it for HD2 devices in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1114737 but it's exactly the same thing for other HTC devices under WP7 and surely can be adapted for other devices like LG and Samsung.
First to know, there is a list of a function but there isn't a way to affect a long press or double press for now, it don't work like this. (but there is surely a way I won't search since it's good for me now)
For exemple When you long press Search (home button on hd2) you obtain Speech recogntition. If you affect Search to another key you'll obtain too Speech recognition when you'll long press this key.
Second, camera (green on hd2) and power (red on hd2) hard keys run under screen off, it's not the function, So if you wan't a function not run under screen off, just use the template in which it's on another hard key.
To achieve that you have to edit the dll keybdpdd_htc.dll you can find in your ROM (in IMGFS/OEM) section (there are equivalents for aother devices as HTC).
To decompress a rom and rebuild use the package I've post in my thread for HD2.
Don't take it from another rom since it hasn't the same location place in memory or you should have to relocate it.
In this module, edit the file S001, in which you can find this part:

On the right in red you can find the functions.
RC_PLAY is the bluetooth function so Play/pause on press, Skip on double press, Answer when receive a call and End call when in call, Quickly call a contact by speech recognition on long press.
RC_UP and RC_DOWN are bluetooth volume but are usually not used by HTC as it use only VOL_UP and VOL_DOWN
CAMSTEP_1 is autofocus and CAMSTEP_2 is camera launcher/shot
SEARCH is search when press and Full speech recognition on long press.
Just after each serie of FF FF FF FF in yellow, you can find a number.
So you can easily find that for exemple that 74 correspond to the function RC_PLAY
At top in blue you can find attribuated functions in the dll for launching actions. It's a serie starting at 00 00 and finishing at 0B 00. For each item there is the associated function.
So starting of the Hard keys we have and the functions we already know we can easily deduce this mapping:

and i believe we cant flash custom (or hex edited) roms
only hd2 is able to flash unsigned roms..

And what about all roms unsigned/signed by cross the method provided by ansar, for ex for HD7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1028398
as far as i know, these roms are still signed
and untill now there is no way to self-sign the roms.
i have asked ansar once but didnt get the reply i was hoping for, because it looked like he had provided a custom rom by mixing bootloader and os from different versions in order to unbrand them.
still, with the method you linked you are still flashing the signed rom,
if you only flash the unsigned one it wont work.
now if you would hex the 2nd, the signed rom it would break the crc and shouldnt be able to flash properly, but i can be wrong...
otherwise it may be a simple task to jailbreak nodo

I have an HTC Surround.. and the power button is broken. So I won't be able to even get into boot loader mode to replace the ROM correct?

You'd still be able to just a little trickier. This is going from the hd7 but I'm sure it's pretty similar. When the phone is completely off when you plug it in it turns on by default. So for me to put the hd7 in bootloader without hitting the power hutton I would do it like this.
1. Pull the battery
2. Put the battery back in
3. Hold down volume up and down( I think that what it is)
4. Plug phone into external power while holding buttons. Phone should go into bootloader.

But now I'm learning from the ground up about editing the ROM
Specifically, I'm confused about this part of the instructions:
"Extract the part04.bin from Data.zip of your HD2 WP7rom and place it in this folder (ignore errors)"
The rom is in an exe form and when I view it using an archive program there are no part_.bin files
After extracting the biggest file in the ROM I managed to use RIE to find and save the keybdpdd_htc.dll file and open the different files within but they don't look anything like the example (I'm using simple text editors to view it could that be the problem?)
(again I have a HTC Surround)
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thats a little more advanced. See we could now in theory switch the function of the home button to act like the power button but then you would lose the home button. We need to change it's action based on the sensors being clear (Meaning its out of your pocket). Then when the device is on it can still function like the home button.

dude i really don't know.i flashed hrt version just now and every thing are working fine yet.if i see any bug i let you know.
I wanted to flash this one because it looks like it has kangvip features which I love on b929 and the one you posted looks like plain p6 rom. I'm backuping my phone now and I'm gonna flash this and post results.

that rom is just for mobile version not unicome.all out of china phones are unicome.it may harm your device or at least not workes properly.
I'm gonna use the kernel from the rom you posted.
The other rom doesnt work. So I installed the one you posted. Any idea how to center the nav bar so it's not all the way left. One bug I noticed imidiately is that when you hide the nav bar it doesnt always respond to your swipe to make it show again.
gave up on this rom. no way to clear defaults so no nova as default home. i guess i'll wait a little to install kitkat.

this rom natively is in 320 dpi.i changed the dpi in system/build.prob from 241 to 320 and many deformations like navbar corrected.also navbar keys become just like lollipops :laugh: .
the rom is stable yet.
you can remove unwanted apps from kinguser tool.its wonderful:good:

you don't need to move apps to sd card, Huawei knows that this mate 1 has tiny internal storage, so the rom given an option to set your default storage location in external sdcard. Go to settings > Storage, and you will see the option.

I'm running my HAM on the Wind Network in Canada and I'm not having any data connection problems at all. I have the European Variant without NFC.
i don't know what is wrong, i've followed the brush procedure using TWRP...i tried 3 different MIUI3.04.4.2 ROM with INDONESIA TELKOMSEL provider but the problem still the same, do you use first model of HAM or with 2GB RAM??

That's strange. Mine works great for data connection, aside from the fact that I couldn't customize using xposed and gravitybox. Maybe its because my network is Wind Canada and we run off of an AWS frequency? Not sure, well sorry about your luck people. I wish I had an answer to help you guys. Oh, plus it ate my battery 3 to 4 times faster when using as a daily driver.
This ROM is great!!! One day in and so far everything works for me (everything I've tried out that is). Only issue so far is a delay on incoming calls before the screen comes up allowing you to answer. I actually missed 2 calls waiting for it to come up.
Also, calendar force closes, but I think I caused that, I tried to restore my data using Titanium Backup from my previous B930 ROM. Going to reflash calendar using the aroma GApps installer and see if that fixes it.

It's using Gold-Concert Angel Kernel v5 3.0.8
anyone knows if it supports ext4 or not ?
This ROM is great. Having one problem though. The call answering screen takes too long to come up. By the time it comes up sometimes the call has already gone to voicemail.
Is there a fix for this?

Currently downloading the file and it says 10h remaining, so while i'm waiting I was reading the instructions but i can't figure what all the "brushes" mean.
I assume this text was translated from chinese but I don't understand. Is it just flashing in TWRP or has it something to do with that REC?

Brushing means wipe, you nave to wipe data,cust,system,cache and dalvik and if you have no important data you can also wipe internal storage.
Then you can flash this ROM and Gapps.

I've wiped internal storrage to but no progress. What version of TWRP do you use? I have 2.6.3.0 I think but i saw there's a 2.6.3.3 now.
Also, download failed after 20h of downloading and i don't feel like trying to retry. Someone has a copy?

Instal the ROM in the first page of the post
Wipe dalvin chache
Reboot.
Reboot on recvovery
install the gapps for 4.4
Wipe dalvin chache
Reboot
nothing else
Sound like you're doing nothing wrong. what ROM is it? The one OP posted or the one from MounirHero?

I got home and installed this ROM and they both work fine! No problem with GAPPS.
the only thing I'm trying to figure out is his to change the dpi settings. It's a huge screen and everything is zoomed in!

Here i am going to tell you how to use my AROMA rom. Please read all the below described things first then proceed to ROM installation. Without reading properly please don not spam thread. So let's begin...
1. WELCOME SCREEN
After selecting the rom from your sd card it will prompt to a Welcome Screen. So press " Next " to continue to next page...
2. ROM OR CUSTOMIZE
Install Stock Deodexed ROM
If you are coming from any other roms ( 4.1,4.2,4.3,4.4+,CM,AOSP etc.. ) means please choose this option. This will wipe your system. Thats's means it will wipe data factory reset , wipe cache and dalvik cache.. So its called a clean installation.. You must ( 100% ) choose this option when you installing this ROM first time. Otherwise ur phone will not boot to OS.
Note :- This option will install a pure stock deodexed rom in ur device. No ported apps. Just a stock deodexed rom with bunch of tweaks..
Customize Your ROM-----
Choose this option only if you already on Ultimate DualXZL Ultra White or Ultimate DualXZL Ultra Black ROMs. So you will not loose any of your data. If you are in any other roms means don't choose this option. You must choose above option..
You can use this option when you want to select any other options like changing lock screen mod , full screen caller mod , etc etc..
3. DEVICES
Xperia C6503
Choose this option if you have a C6503 device
Xperia C6502
Choose this option if you have a C6502 device
Note :- C6502 users can also choose C6503 option. Nothing will happen.. But C6503 users never choose C6502 option. You will lost LTE and some other functions..
4. ROM SELECTION
Ultimate DualXZL Ultra White
Choose this option if you want to install a white rom in your device. With maximum of Z3 ported apps except Z3 settings and Ultra Stamina Mod.
Ultimate DualXZL Ultra Black
Choose this option if you want to install a pure black rom in your device. With maximum of Z3 ported apps except Z3 settings and Ultra Stamina Mod. You can feel a very very pure black UI in this ROM. No more ugly grey look any where..
Note :- If you want a pure stock rom with deodexed apps means no need to choose these 2 ROMs. If you don't choose any of these 2 ROMs means Pure Stock Deodexed ROM will install by default..
5. LOCK SCREEN
You can choose and install various Lock Screen mod from here..
6. SYSTEM UI
Here you can choose and install various types of SystemUI mods. You can find descriptions for each SystemUI mods below them in AROMA installation.
7. PHONEBOOK AND DIALER MOD
Here you can install various types of full screen caller mods. Both white and black mods.. So you can choose as per your choice. And also included stock phonebook mod so you can revert back to stock if you don't want full screen caller mod..
8. ROOT
Install ROOT
You must choose this option if you installing this ROM first time. If you are customizing this ROM means no need to select this option.
No ROOT Method
Sorry. Useless option for now...
9. DPI DUALXZL ULTRA WHITE
Here you can choose various types of Small DPI navigation bar mod for DualXZL Ultra White ROM. 5 Mods included. 32 , 36 , 40 , 43 and 48. If you are on DualXZL Ultra Black ROM means do not choose this option. You will lost all the sexy look of pure black..
10. DPI DUALXZL ULTRA BLACK
Here you can choose various types of Small DPI navigation bar mod for DualXZL Ultra Black ROM. 5 Mods included. 32 , 36 , 40 , 43 and 48. If you are on DualXZL Ultra White ROM means do not choose this option. You will lost some functions and also you will face some text color issue.. So choose carefully.
11. PHONEBOOK DUALXZL ULTRA BLACK
Phonebook With Stock Keypad
Choose this option if you want a stock black dialer keypad. With grid lines. ( You can find Screens in SCREENSHOTS are ).
Phonebook With Flat Keypad
Choose this option if you want a modded pure black dialer keypad. With pure flat UI.. ( You can find Screens in SCREENSHOTS are ).
After selecting all option you want press " Next " to continue to next page...
12. BOOTANIMATION
You can install various types of bootanimation from here. Test by your self. I can't provide any video or screens..
13. TWEAKS
Choose various types of Tweaks from here.. Read description from AROMA installer..
14. ADVANCED VOLUME MENU]
Advanced Volume Menu Mod
Choose this option if you want a Advanced Volume Control Pannel.
Stock Volume Mod
Choose this option if you want to revert to stock volume bar. I have included this option because some users does not like Advanced Volume pannel.
15. ADVANCED POWER MENU
Advanced Power Menu
Choose this option only if you selected Stock Deodexed ROM from AROMA installer. Do not use this mod in both DualXZL White and Black Roms. This option is only for Stock Deodexed ROM.
Stock Power menu
Choose this option if you don't want Advanced Power Menu. Only for Stock Deodexed ROM.
Note : If you done any mistake or if you want to change any thing means u can simply press " Back. " . If AROMA installrion stuck means re install AROMA from sd card again.

Yea. U can get all things inside the Rom. No separate addons needed..
