Since AT&T UCUFNJ1 update will not root.

Since the update " UCUFNJ1 ". I can not install openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-d2att.tar with ODIN. It acts like its installing ! But when it restarts it will just boot up normally . I have tried CF-Auto-Root-d2att-d2uc-samsungsghi747. But the same thing happens. You see the red android but it will but up normally.
Update : I retried CF-Auto-Root-d2att-d2uc-samsungsghi747 with ODIN 3.07 and didn't look like anything changed. Then I reinstalled for the 5th time openrecovery-twrp-2.8.1.0-d2att.tar... Well when it restarted this time I got and error saying that Super U has stopped working. So I went in to recovery and TWRP finally installed and I was able to install Super U. Knox Had to be disabled

"Error occurred while updating..." Think I have bricked while attempting to downgrade
Please help.
I was attempting to root and SIM unlock the SM-G925T. It was already on Nougat 7.0 (and November 2017 security/patch).
CF Auto Root would not work. Neither did an attempt to manually flash TWRP (although attempting one of those two tripped KNOX).
I thought I'd downgrade to Marshmallow and then re-attempt root/unlock. Downloaded "G925TUVU5EQC2" from gsm-firmware and tried to execute via Odin.
I am left with a permanent blue screen with that "!" reading I need to use Smart Switch's Emergency Recovery. That, btw, does not work either (and neither does re-attempting after reinstalling device drivers from within SS).
Could someone please suggest what I should do? Pressing and holding power/home/vol- keeps taking me back to this blue screen. Unable to get to the recovery or anywhere for that matter.
Ok, so... Despite not seeing any other screen, I went ahead with reflashing the Marshmallow ROM via ODIN. Worked this time and the phone rebooted.
Interestingly, now, my unlock request was approved by the Device Unlock software (didn't need to use other means). However, I am stuck on Marshmallow and the device won't update to Nougat (get the error "phone not registered", despite it being unlocked). Hilarious. But at least the phone is functioning now.
Followed the same ODIN method and flashed the latest 7.0 image (Nov 2017 patch). Thankfully, it retained the unlock. Not sure if it can upgrade (I don't see the "not registered" error) but I won't know till there is a release.
Briefly got an annoying "com.sec.vsimservice stopped working" error - booted into Android recovery, wiped cache and did a factory reset. Working now!
Had already tried rooting this version (using both CF Auto Root and TWRP), but in vain, so not harbouring hopes now. Will get back to it later.

Can't go back to stock because of failed update check.

I tried out some project treble rooms and I've been trying to revert back to stock EMUI8 with the update files. As the title said after flashing the update file I get a red exclamation mark with update check failed. I can't factory reset the phone either, it shows the same symbol. I've tried flashing twrp and formatting and updating again but the same issue remains

T-mobile OTA update g960usqs2arf4 fails

I have T-Mobile Galaxy S9, not rooted. Recent OTA update g960usqs2arf4 fails to install. It boots into the flashing screen with android logo, the progress bar gets to 30% and then it says "Error". I tried wiping cache partition but it did not solve the problem. I really want to avoid factory reset ... Maybe I can install it via PC?
Still stuck at this. It attempts to update roughly once a week and always fails and sends report to Samsung. Any suggestions?

Flashing OTA via recovery failing at 94%

Hello there,
So I've bricked my device by locking the bootloader 6 months ago (I know .. ). I've been trying to follow Bufflo Bill's manual of ADB side loading the OTA update.
I've tried doing that on Multiple oses: Ubuntu, Windows 7. Both have all drivers and ADB installed.
Tried a few cables. All end in the same way.
I'm currently trying to flash marlin-ota-qp1a.191005.007.a3-23002a57.zip and I'm on the latest stock update.
Stops at 94% and says total xfer: 2.00x Then goes on the usual boot loop when rebooting.
Is there any hope to flash OTA on this phone and revive it? Since there is an error of some sort?
Bump
