Hello Guyz,
Today I'm gonna show you how you can fix permission of your storage. Sometimes We face write issue to our Internal or external storage in different rom or in stock rom. We need root+xposed for lollipop and only root access for kitkat device.
For Lollipop:
1. Root your device
2. Install xposed
3. Open xposed and go to download section
4. Search "Fix Lollipop Memory Leak" without quote
5. Install and active
6. Reboot
For KitKat:
1. Root your device
2. Download KitKat SD fix from play store
3. Install and run
4. Grant SuperSU permission
5. Reboot
DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for reading
WORKS WITH MOST LOLLIPOP AND KITKAK ROM
The "SDFix: KitKat Writable MicroSD" app also works w/ Lollipop...

your apps were on usb storage and you can still uninstall them
No I can not, its probably my bad English You misunderstand me.
So once again
1. I install rom, for example minimal by Judas
2. I switch usb to external sd, reboot phone etc..
3. I install same apps on sdcard and busy-box,
4. And now when i reboot phone apps installed on sdcard are greyed, and system says that they are not installed
5. I remove busybox reboot phone, and voilà my apps are back.
My question is why this is happening ?
No. But you swapped vold.fstab?

Yes I swapped fstab, and after that I had installed apps... just like I write in second post
You
1. Installed apps
2. Transfer to usb storage
3. Swapped vold.fstab
Is that what you mean? Because thats the only reason why my apps will be grayed.

No I mean exactly what I write earlier,
1 Install rom,
2 Swaped vold fstab
3 install some random apps (like endomodo dead tiger etc,).
3a. And at this moment everything work fine.
4 Install busybox - and now if I reboot phone apps install on sdcard are greyed.
4a. For 1 at 10-20 reboots apps will show correctly .
5 Uninstall busybox, reboot phone - my apps are back,
And this problem occurs only witch TouchWiz.
I know this is bit strange problem so I appreciate Teddytsen Your willingness to help me

Hi all,
I like to acces my phone via WIFI to upload & download files to it . I use the Websharing App to do this and this works quiet well via a browser on my computer.
However when trying to write a new folder to my external SD-card in my phone, i get an error. I Tried this with different filesharing apps, but i seems like i don't have persmission to do this because i always get the same error.
This problems occurs only when trying to write something to the external SD. Reading & copying is possible.
Does somebody knows how i can fix this problem ?
When connecting the computer via usb-cable , it's possible to write directly to SD card.
(Samsung galaxy s4 mini LTE, android 4.4.2)
Cheers.
On android 4.4.2 3rd party apps can't write on SDCard. You must root Your phone, install Xposed Framework and then download and install module KitKat SD Card Full Access. Also better way to browse and manage files directly on Your phone is SambaDroid, You can even manage system files.

Okay thanks for your help. Will try sambadroid, otherwise will check the xposed framework. Phone is already rooted.
I'm afraid that You also need this xposed module for Sambadroid to work. As I remember it was some build.prop modification to make it work if You don't wanna play with xposed.
Under 5.0.1 Lollipop, how do I (or, can I) make external SD writable? The TWRP installation app claims to make that change (I think), but it didn't work.

Go to the playstore and search and download SDFix by NextApp and follow the instructions in the app. That should fix your external sd card problems

Yes you can. In recovery (twrp) go to wipe/advance wipe/ select sd and press change file system/ choose fat. When done reboot to system.
Through play store, download sdfix. This will surely help.
I was kinda wondering the same thing. I haven't tried twrp but I have used the sdfix tool as SuperSU and it says it worked. I was wondering if users like myself could get some more information on the whole write issue. Specifically! Getting a torrent program to write to the sdcard. After all why would I need root for any other reason? Please help with step by step instructions. Any experience at this is much appreciated.
So far I am luck y to have root. I am getting more familiar with adb command interface. I have been reading about rebooting and installing apk's from the boot menu but, this is all overwhelming for someone who just decided that google is a b.i.t.c.h. and it's time to jump on the xda ban wagon. So far my torrent programs either only write to internal space perfectly, or write to sdcard with small file sizes, stopping prematurely or even stopping only to refreash and start the torrent all over from zero percent. The torrent app ability is all so sketchy at best when it comes to using it with lollipop 5.0.1 lg g3.
Let me know if this is not the place for this discussion and I will delete this post and follow your link.
Hi,
I updated my G Pad 7.0 Wifi (V400) to Stock 5.0 Lollipop yesterday via OTA and everything looked fine.
I have 2 users on my tablet (one - main - for me, the other one for my girlfriend) and I noticed that the secondary user is unable to mount SDcard at all, so my gf cannot use a big part of her applications.
I already tried rebooting, mount/unmonut and remove/re-insert sdcard, next step should be a WIPE, but I'd like to know first if it's a bug or a Lollipop "security feature" or something.
If you have an updated v400, can you have a try?
Thank you very much!
Davide.
I have a V410. On stock LG kitkat no normal users are able to write to the microSD, not even the primary user. I have to enable root access to even write files to it with a file manager. No lollipop yet on the V410 (not stock anyway).
I know its not exactly what you were asking, but just thought I'd share it. LG definitely has sdcard access messed up in their roms for this tablet line, at least that has been my experience. TWRP, AROMA File Manager, and timmytim's CM12 can all use the sdcard just fine.

Jason, thank you for sharing your experience but I'm facing a different issue. I try to explain it better.
With 4.4.2 I was able to move some of my applications to the sdcard (Settings --> Applications --> [app name] --> Move to SD card). Doing this with my primary user allowed me to save some internal storage space and all of my users could play games that were previously moved to the sdcard.
Now with 5.0.2 everything is fine with my primary user, but with my second user I can't see sdcard at all... I see all my moved application in the drawer as a "generic Android icon", and if I try to launch them I get the "SD card removed" popup error.
I know that in a major upgrade like Kitkat->Lollipop a clean installation with full wipe is required, but I asked if someone with Lollipop could try my same scenario in order to check if this is a common Lollipop "feature" (making a wipe useless) or just a bug due to messy upgrade.
Thanks in advice to everybody for your help.
Just to share my personal solution with all of you: I tried a full wipe with no results. At the end I decided to switch to CM12.1 and this solved my problem.
Rooted now my G5 on Stock Rom, also get Root Access but get 2 issues which wasn´t planned :silly:
1. getting all couple of seconds a information that LED notifier are allowed to get root access (yes, it is set on don´t ask again, allow without timelimit...)
2. Reason why I´m rooted the phone was: Want a Couple of apps save on SD Card, now foldermount mention that supersu isn´t installed so can´t work properly
Any Ideas or maybe an alternative app to install apps on sd?
some apps only work with a certain superuser
superSU does work with the G5 but I don't think it works with stock rom - although I haven't tried (you have to root first then switch superuser although like I said haven't tried with stock rom but I have got supersu working on lineageos but I would stick to the inbuilt root)
If you want to root the G5 with stock I would use magisk - you need version 11.6 to flash in twrp then you can update to the latest version in magisk manager - only root works with magisk - dont use magisk hide or modules as they are currently not supported
If you are on lineageos just flash the suaddon zip (see the first post instructions on lineageos dev page)
An alternative app would be link2sd - please note you can natively move apps to sd but any apps that use a widget or require anything to do with internal storage will no longer work
For these apps its best to symlink them - this requires you to create a 2nd ext partition on your sd card then you link these apps to your sd card - They will then be on your sd card but act as though they are on internal because they are symlinked
Be warned that the more apps you link in this way you may find your phone become more laggy
