My Windows 10 doesn't detect any phone mass storage - HTC One X

Hi... Since the time I upgraded my Laptop to Windows 10 its unable to detect the mass storage for any phone. USB Pendrives are working perfect but the phone storage is not showing up.
My phone is HTC One X and Redmi Note 4G. I tried several other phones as well.

because they don't have mass storage they have only MTP by default you will have Mass sorage only with custom rom if support mass storage or custom kernel with mass storage

Winodws 7 does not recognize my desire as harddrive...

Ok i have had it up to here...
No matter what freaking rom i had flashed - my win 7 pc does not really recognize my desire as usb mass storage device - first it started out that i had to run my device manager before win7 would recognize my desire but now not even that helps anymore,,,
i want those good old days back where stuff just..... worked....
it is a real pain to do all the stuff if you can not connect yourn desire as usb mass storage device - even though it works perfectly well in the recovery menu (mount usb)...

USB not recognised

It was working till yesterday, now my computer wont recognise the mass storage device. The mini usb is not at fault as I tried connecting my phone and it works. Problem only with KF. Any idea guys?
What rom are you running look under storage in settings 3 dots upper right make sure mass storage is enabled

USB mount in JB 4.2

In JB 4.2, why do i have to use MTP ? Its slow, as compared to USB storage mount that i had in my HTC HD2 running Gingerbread.
I tried stickmount, with no luck.
I am only trying to connect my phone as a storage device to my computer
has nothing to do with 4.2. The nexus cannot function in mass storage mode. Its a limit based on hardware that thus far cannot be changed.

You will never have usb mass storage on this phone. There is no sd card so you can't mount it as a storage device.
This has been beaten into the ground since the phone's release

And stickmount has nothing to do with UMS.

As of Android 4.0 I believe they removed mass storage from all subsequent builds of android. They had a reason for it which I do not recall but it is not possible on any 4.0+ device no matter the hack.

MTP has several advantages over mass storage mode, some of which include:
1) storage can be accessed simultaneously by both the Android tablet/phone as well as the computer it is connected to by USB
2) does not need to be selected on the device after connecting USB (likely related to Item 1 above, as the storage no longer has to be "unmounted" from the device
3) app storage and user storage are now unified
Item 3 above is probably the primary reason for the move to MTP. And of course MTP has its drawbacks.
I've seen mass storage enabled on custom ROMs on other devices (HTC One X in particular). So it is possible. But whether we will ever see this on the Note 8 is another story.
I've tried these two:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2175747
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mohammadag.samsungusbmassstorageenabler
But both didn't work...
Many people on 4.0 and higher got to enable Mass Storage Device mode..
So I was thinking about how to do that..
I'll wait till someone successfully make it able on NOTE 8.0
Thanks
