Hi, I'm trying to flash LuckyK kernel, but I'm getting an error, it says:

Any help or advice would be appreciated .
Sorry if this was already answered but couldn't find it if so. I would've asked in the original thread, but I don't have my "10 posts to unlock full features in forums", so I'm not allowed.
Thanks in advance.
Edit: Sorry, I forgot to add some info. I'm using CyanogenMod 12.1 Beta builds.

On Myn's thread i downloaded a new boot animation or a new kernal and when I install it I get this

How do I fix this? I toggled off signature verification thinking that would fix it.
Are you using cloackwork? If yes switch to Amon_RA
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Wonderfull!! Thank you
The message was because that animation had the Amend scripting [old] and you were running clockwork 3.0+ which uses Edify scripting [new], so the files aren't compatible. Your options are to as the other user suggested, use amon_ra 2.3 or use and older version of clockworkmod.
Noob Here!
Ok so I was using the RCMix3D 3.5 Sensation and because there is no Bluetooth I decided to switch to Cyanogenmod 6.1.1 or 7.1.0 while I was loading the new ROM, CWM stooped working and rebooted after this I got the white HTC screen followed by the black screen that has the android logo and nothing happened after that
so I rebooted back into CWM and tried to load the ROM and got the following error:
---Installing: /sdcard/update-cm-Desire-signed.zip
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
Welcome to Cyanogenmod 6.1.1-Desire!
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device")=="Bravo" || getprop("ro.build.device")=="Bravo" || getprop("ro.product.board")=="Bravo"
E: Error in /sdcard/update-cm-Desire-signed.zip
(Status 7)
Installation Aborted
I get the same if I try another ROM and I cant return to my old RCMix3D ROM because the recovery doesnt seem to find my file.
What can I do? Cant it still be fixed?
is my phone damaged?
sorry, Im new to this and im really frustrated because I dont know whar to do!

i was afraid I would not recover my phone.
I am trying to download AOKP's nightly aokp_maguro_kitkat_nightly_2014-01-04 but whenever I try to flash it the bot shows up with a error exclamation point and with the message at the bottom:
"set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error in/sdcard/0/aokp_maguro_kitkat_nightly_2014-01-04 .zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted"
I tried to flash older nightlys of the kitkat update but I get the same error. I have tried to wipe data/factory reset but that deosnt work. I can flash the AOKP mod I had before I tried this so there isn't a major problem if I can't update, but I would like to update to kitkat to improve my phone.
Anyone know why I keep getting this message and how to fix it?

I think you have to update your recovery. Older versions are not compatible with kitkat. I'm using Philz touch recovery, here's a link to his thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2201860
You'll find different files for different types of tuna (galaxy nexus), choose the correct one according to your actual model, install it, and you're hopefully ready to flash.
Hope I could help!

Yes, you need to update your recovery. I had same problem with an other kk ROM.
I suggest you to download last cwm from the official site and install that.
After that you can install the AOKP 4.4!

This worked perfectly! thank you!
Just to provide all the information I have on hand, I have the
T-Mobile SGH-M919
android version 4.3
baseband version M919UVUEMK2
Current Recovery: ClockworkMod 6.0.4.7
My issue is that regardless of what rom I attempt to download i get the error below. Specifically, I've tried to download virginROM 2.3, which seems to be compatible with my device. From what I understand status 7 is in place to keep you from flashing an incompatible rom and so I'm not too sure how to proceed from here. Any and all help would be appreciated.
flash flash flashin things
format() expects 5 args, got 4
E: Error in /data/media/0/virginROM_v2.4.1.zip

/tmp/recovery.log was copied to /sdcard/clockworkmod/recovery.log.

Try using TWRP
My S4 Is Insane
Deviant Team Member
could be the signature veridicatrion, try disabling in recovery

I just ran into this a few minutes ago using Philz Touch. The solution I found was under the install zip menu, you should see "Don't Allow Old update-binary. It should have a check-mark; simply untick that option and try again.

I'm using CWM and I don't see the option to check "donm't allow old update-binary." When I turn toggle signature verification off I get
E:footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
and then get prompted to ask if i want to install an untrusted package. I attempted to download and apply the new 4.4.2 Google Edition by Davnh, haven't tried TWCP yet but i feel like it should still be doable via CWM.
Hello,
my marvel BL is unlocked via htcdev. I've already installed CWM Recovery v5.0.2.6.
Now I was trying to install the rom via cwm recovery and got the following messages:

set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/cm-11-20140519-BETA1-marvel.zip

Any tipps what went wrong? Is it necessary to make the sd-card in special kind of formats or partitions?
Thanks for ur help in advice!
BTW: Got the rom from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2735775

Ofcourse it will fail. Change your recovery to either cwm 5.0.2.8 or philz or clockworkmod 6
Please read a bit before posting!! This has already been posted numerous times before!!
Anyways hit the thanks button!

Thanks a lot!
It works.
Believe me, I read multiple threads before. Had a lot of phones already rooted and installed custom roms before. This marvel just was bloody incredible. Never had so much trouble with unlocking the bootloader via htcdev, HBoot-Problems, Downgrade, Goldcard.
But now all in all it works and this rom seems to be really nice.
