Hi,
I have the HTC one V and I flashed it with an Pageplus PRL. Now I want to put back the original Virgin Mobile PRL (or any Sprint PRL) file back to the phone but I couldn't find it. I did install the original VM's RUU file and when making a phone call, it still trying to call Verizon's towers. Anybody know where I can download the PRL file or any Sprint PRL will work? Thanks.

I have a post or two regarding my errors with having my evo metro flashed...
Although it was metro flashed successfully, my rooting wasn't which caused hell for me and the evo. (2nd time was a charm...or so I thought). While stock rom and internet worked, my actual phone service didn't. Then, no service at all.
Today, I tried to have metro pcs re-metro flash the evo and they couldn't, saying that their computer wasn't picking up the evo. The metro said that they had a rep from their flash service company trying and it didn't read.
At the time they were trying to reflash, I had metrodroid 2.0 (rooted) on the evo.
After that visit, I have gone back to the sprint stock rom (10-2010) and stock prl.
1) Do I need to get the cdma workshop settings reversed to reflect sprint?
2) Does being rooted prevent or have anything to do with the metro flash? My number and "metro pcs" show up in the phone settings...but not working.
3) Should I de-root then have them re-flash again?

I don't have any personal experience with this issue, but I think unrooting and then re-flashing may solve it, as certain files, ect get bypassed/overwritten with rooting, not to include any additional mods you made.

PRL Version 30900
Now idk if this is currect info if its been flashed or what or if this is just the original prl from sprint?
Even though im not on sprint im on cricket wireless

On the jiminy V for cricket thread he gots PRL version: 427000 Now
427000 compared to what my phn says in system info as 30900 im assuming is A BETTER PRL the 427000? am i right?
And if so should i get this new prl or a higher # prl that i can find for cricket and flash it????
Is that how that works?
And also,
all i know about prl is it shows the info about roaming and what u can roam on and what not does this mean better coverage for me? if i got the latest?

i've wondered this since acquiring the PRIMOC but have just assumed there isn't a way on VM. It was so easy on Sprint/Gingerbread, Eclair, or Froyo, at least with a Stock ROM
you probably figured it out by now but if not...search xda for the latest prl for your carrier, put it on your SD card, and then use EPST to update it. I think the code was ##775# (have your MSL ready).
To update profile (this assumes you are still on virgin mobile), just *228. If you flashed it to another carrier... PM me
If your phone's ROM is the official ruu ...
Phone inside usually upgrade information ...
However, if you use the ROM production ...
You will not havethis option ...
I have the same problem with my old phone Cricket which was active before they went to AT&T. I'm trying to use it for qlink but theres nowhere to 'update profile'. Can someone plz help me.
I have been trying to find a for sure answer but can i do a system update if my phone is flashed to cricket or will it change my cricket flash as well?

If you're talking about Settings: System Update: Update PRL / Update Profile / Update Samsung Software / Update Firmware, don't do it.
I updated my PRL and it sucked down the latest Sprint PRL. I had to put a cricKet PRL back on the phone to fix it.
I tried the Update Profile option and it sucked down all of the information from the previous (Sprint) user, including their phone number (NAM), their mobile network settings ([email protected] instead of [email protected], etc.). I had to re-flash the phone.
It did allow me to update the Samsung software and it did allow me to update the firmware without incident, however, I am running a Sprint ROM. If you are running a custom ROM (including rooted Sprint ROMs), I would not recommend using any of the above menu options.

Is there a way to update the PRL from inside of CM 13? I'm trying to give this phone to someone else and Virgin Mobile won't activate it without it. I don't have a computer at the moment to use RUU so any help would be appreciated.
