i have an HTC one x i need to disable MTP so that the device connects to my pc as a usb mass storage so i can perform a data recover after i accidentally deleted some important files, how can i do that

i remember with TWRP you can mount the storage as a usb drive.

then you need to get another phone with a sdcard.
this topic has been beaten into the ground. use search next time.
The Galaxy Nexus does not have the Mass Storage function, it uses MTP instead.
after losing all internal memory data by wiping the phone... i'm trying to recover photos & videos
could not restore more than 28 pic by diskdigger... other apps like undelete & hexa didnt work(only dealing with external memory i think)... used some PC programs but all of them cannot see the phone because its on MTP connection
is AOSP ROMs hasing the option to mount the device as USB mass storage??(to mount it & try some PC programs)
or is there any other better option??

All photos were deleted from the phone memory. How can I connect my phone to the computer as USB storage. To scan with data recovery programs.

To get it to connect as usb mass storage it should just be a case of connecting with a usb cable like you would to side load apk files. It can't hurt to have debugging on.
Not sure if you'd have trouble scanning the internal memory with a data recovery program since I've never tried it.

Thats issue. Now I understand
You cant do that. You have written new files above old ones and you cant, especially that is is on internal storage.
There could be some method to boot as UMS but I doubt you would recover anything.
Have you tried from recocery to boot as UMS?
yeah i want... why you say i cant recover any data? if the internal storage is mass storage the software detect it one hard or flash drive and can recover data... i think

i old recovery we have one option .. mount sd cart... i remember that but in new recovery we have one option ( mount) and in that we have only MPT that mean we havent mass storage.. i want like old smart phon i have mass storage...
