Hey everyone, I've been on an XDA hiatus for awhile. I used to DEV heavily for the GSII and then the HTC M7. I just acquired a Find 7a, so keep a look out for new roms coming this way . If anyone is interested in testing please PM me.
Awesome news; Welcome to the Find 7 club!
Can't wait to see what you release for the wonderful Find 7.

Just wanted to say hi to a new forum. I've been flashing roms on my tbolt for a while but thats my work phone. Finally ditched my personal CrapBerry for a GNex. I love this phone and this is the Place for Gnex dev work. Been a a blast so far lurking.
Hope to have a lot of fun!
Welcome
Hi guys!
I've been a member of XDA Forums, but it's been a while since I checked in. I originally joined when I bought the worst Android Phone ever....The HTC Aria. I put my sim in my old iPhone 3G and have been waiting to get a new Android phone since. I'm back on the wagon and just got an LG NITRO HD. I love this phone and am happy to be back with Android. I haven't modified this phone or screwed with it in any way, but there's always hope! I loved running the mods that I found here on my Aria and I loved Cyanogen 7. Has anyone run any of these ROMs on their Nitro and how do they run?
Anyways, I'm glad to back and I can still remember the thrashing I got from my fellow forum members when I asked stupid questions. I'm sure I'll see them again!

Currently there are only three roms for the nitro hd.
Kernalpan1c's mod is the one I use currently.
There is a rumor that there is a CM9 ICS coming out for it

Congrats on your purchase...I love my nitro. Can't wait to see ICS for it
I suggest you go to the development forum and take a look at whats available, root it and get cwm, if you feel.

Okay so I am just geeking on the new B2G simulator and decided to do a quick xda search to see if it had been tried on the GSIII. I came across a dead thread but these guys seemed to get somewhere. Anyone of you talented Devs want to take a crack at this??????? Just a fun toy to have.......

Much respect for all the devs, you guys do great work!
NOTE: I didn't see a thread like this so I thought I would start one. If it's not allowed I apologize please delete.
I wanted to give
A HUGE THANK YOU
to all the folks on this forum! Like a lot of us here, I am selling my GN so my sister cheap and moving to the N5 when it arrives tomorrow, but before I leave here I wanted to thank you guys. This is by far the best android community I have ever been a part of. That reason alone is why I will never go back to a non-Nexus device. You guys kick ass. The Devs especially! But all of you are great, helpful and kind! I know I will see many of you in the Nexus 5 forum, but for those who won't be making the trip, I salute you! You have made being a Nexus owner a joy to me and many others for nearly 2 years now, and I can't begin to thank you guys enough!
Best of luck.
Good morning all,
There are plenty of threads about ubuntu on nexus 5, but I haven't seen any about it on the nexus 5X, is anyone working on it? Is it easily portable ? I would really enjoy trying it out but I cannot gather any useful info on it...
Cheers

Have fun building it, lol. Canonical isnt going to build any official images for any phone since they have OEMs selling phones with it preinstalled.

Well, a port for the one plus one was just done, one for the one plus x in on the go and one for the fairphone was release some days ago too... So it seems possible. I do not have time right now to learn how to build a rom but the process interests me, i'll take a look at you link, waiting to have more free time (hopefully in September).
Nonetheless this does not answer my question; are people here working on it ?
