if you want ftf file create on your own by following way:
1) Follow the link
2) Before that install phone drivers in your computer follow this video tutorial ( also there are many videos regarding flashing)

I tried to unlock the bootloader and got a boot loop, reflashed stock Ftf and then couldn't connect to Internet or change apn, I've looked everywhere the only a pollution is to edit an already existing apn, but I don't have any! ?

problem is that i will flash that baseband but i cannot do that with flashtool. No way to flash ftf file! even a firmware.I am currently on XP but i tried with Win 7 but same.
only 3% goes further than stops with some message as :MAJOR err CLASS,ERR_STATIC,SIN_HEAD_VER,ERR_DYNAMIC=failed to verify sin header.....something like that!

come on guys...dont forget my problem!
Bad post (had to delete it). Sory !
Puuush...
I haven't had an in depth look, but I'm guessing you could just extract the ftf and .sin then push them to the phone unsure if other steps are needed.

will be great to have,or if you have a solution!
If your ftf files are valid you should check your language&regional settings it should be U.K or something if you are coming from another regional settings.
After that you can flah via flashtool.

Thanx but...
i changed that but no go.If you mean it to change on PC!?

Sorry been busy don't have time to do it, but try extracting the .ftf then use flashtool to to extract the .sin and finally mount the yaffs2 files and just push them to the phone. Then in cwm make sure you run fix permissions.

[Q] Where to download Xperia S stock firmware

Every thread and link I've found is either dead or turns out not to be the stock firmware. Does the stock firmware exist out there? I need to return my phone and I can't find the stock firmware anywhere.
have you tried flashtool by sony?

Just follow the instructions. I've had problems like you also. :victory:
ALSO, you can just download Flashtool (by B1nary and Andoxyde I think) via Google.
The Sony flashtool doesn't require a log in... When you are prompt to log in just hit cancel!!!

Thanks. After applying the BL relock I couldn't boot. Which is why I needed a full stock ROM flash. From here I was able to run the repair tool within PC Companion and completely restore to 100% stock.

Hmm... when I click cancel it just closes.
Hmm thats right but try to open it again and should simply open without any log in prompt... Thats what my computer does..

You need to put the customizacion.ini file that comes inside the compressed file into the installation folder of Sony flashtool (Program Files\Sony Mobile\Emma) after installation.
With that made, Emma is not going to ask you to log in.
Read the instructions carefully next time.

All hope lost after incorrect flash?

Hello everyone, firstly I'd like to apologize in advance if this has been answered before. I searched and could not find a resource to help me with my problem. Here goes, I recently purchased a SGH-T889 Galaxy Note II. I managed to unlock the device and popped in a AT&T sim card. All was well until I decided to flash the AT&T varient stock firmware on it and that's when everything went wrong. Odin failed at the very end of the flash and the phone would not boot. I flashed back to TMobile stock and the phone boots into the OS fine but now the IMEI is blank, the baseband is unknown, and it says there is no SIM inserted. I also noticed when the phone is connected via USB the internal storage is not accesible, says there is 0 space. After searching around and reading up a bit it seems I have screwed up my EFS partition. Being the extreme noob that I am unfortunately a backup was not made prior to flashing. Am I screwed? I've tried reflashing different versions of the stock but I still get the same results. Is it possible to use a EFS backup from a different phone and insert the IMEI from my phone? Any help will greatly be appreciated.
:crying:
(Please forgive me if you are an advanced user) Are you sure that you are following the step-by-step instructions for flashing that are available here on the forum? I have resolved many problems myself by reading from the list of steps as I flash rather than relying on memory.

Flashing to stock is not your problem. If you're booting you're fine. You will need to restore your imei now. There is a guide in development (edit I actually didn't find it when I just checked, but that guide above should work). I'm sure you realize this now, but never Odin something not made for your phone.

Thanks for the links. I don't have the phone on me at the moment but will give this a try and hopefully this will fix the issue. When this happened to you were you able to see any internal storage from your PC and or the phone itself? When I went into the storage area under settings it displayed how much space was being used by the apps but it also said 0 was available.

Oh believe me I've learned my lesson. I will never flash without making a full backup first and stay away from roms not made for the device. I hope I can get this fixed otherwise it will be a very expensive music player

I think you'll get it. If it's booting and showing life there's a way to fix it. It may just take a lot of work. When you get the phone check out that link above. It should fix you up.

So I was able to generate my IMEI file with my phones number but I cannot write it to the device. The only way I can get my phone to communicate with my PC is if its in download mode. I really screwed up my partition along with the EFS.

I won't.say that it's impossible but in practical terms, no. I haven't seen anyone post a script or app to do this. Normally you need root to manipulate the filesystem. It can actually be done by way of various exploits but it's simply easier and more useful to root a device.
