Hello, I have a Samsung Tab3. Once I saw "Software Update Available". Then I agreed to download. After download [~55MB] I clicked "Install". Then it wants to reboot. Then I pressed "Okay". It was turned off and when it turned on, then a text appeared with a black screen. It was in red font [mv] CableType=0. I was watching movie on laptop. Then I connected my tab with my laptop through USB Data cable. Then its changed "0" to "1". Then I used to hold the power button until it turned off and nothing else. Then I did it again to turn on. But there was nothing else without a glowing black screen. No logo, no sound, no text or else. I tried to did reset for go to recovery mode by holding power and volume buttons. But the result was same as previous.
I wrote my problem as detailed as possible. Please help me out to fix this problem.
Thank you
Have you tried the Emergency Firmware Recovery tool in Samsung Kies? You can get Kies from the Samsung website. Plug your tablet in and go to Tools > Emergency firmware recovery and it should have your device listed. Or you could try the Firmware upgrade through Kies. I haven't had to use the emergency mode yet so I don't know how it works from there.

Hello guys, today i have a problem with my phone... Yesterday at the evening connect my phone with pc, and put my phone in download mode (up volume + power), then i started a download of firmware from the net, but i got a call from my boss and he asked me to go work immidiately. I have forgot to disconnect my phone from the pc, and when i come back after about 6-8 hours, the screen was stuck, i have tried to turn off and on my phone, but screen was stuck. I have pull out the battery, and put it back again. Then i pressed the power button, and screen was stuck at that image (showed in the photo attachment). When i try to click any button, volume or power, that image just disappears for second and then showing up again. I cannot go to fastboot mode, i cant go to download mode, i cant boot up the phone, when i connect it to pc, odin recognizes it, but when i try to load a firmware on my phone, odin writes something about "waiting for connect your phone" - endlessly.
What should i do? Need help please...
Sorry for my english
up didnt solved it yet
Hi all, I've been using XDA for years since the original O2 XDA's and I have never had to post anything as I've always found my solution. I'm hoping somebody can assist me with a problem I have on this stock galaxy tab 3.
The device was brought to me after being thrown down the stairs. I replaced the screen and built it back up,
Removed battery connector and reconnected = nothing happens
Press power = nothing happens
press download mode = nothing happens
press recovery mode = nothing happens
Plug USB into PC = nothing happens on PC or tablet
Plug in USB mains charger and it displays battery charging logo but it doesn't fill or animate the fill then it starts the samsung boot screen. It reboots and continues to do this constantly and never ends.
I've tried two batteries and both batteries work in another tab 3 but neither batteries changed how the device works.
Thank you for any advice in advanced!!
I just received a Tab 3 lite (SM-T110) for repair, it's having a similar problem.
It does automatically turn on when plugged into charger or computer.. It is stuck on a bootloop, requiesting a Kies recovery. It does reboot when given the three finger salute (center button, volume down, and power) - it will not enter recovery mode though - same firmware error message). The device is also full off or full on, no indication of it's it's recharging or no - let the battery run out, it's off - else it's on (does not turn on or off with power button). I don't have any info how it got into this state - most likely power loss during a firmware update, but haven't ruled out other possibilities (ie bad rooting job, a custom ROM upgrade went wrong, etc). I'm not 100% concerned about cause, but hopefully I can unbrick the thing.
Anyways, I loaded Kies onto my computer and put it into recovery mode and plugged it in - nothing. Exit the recovery mode of Kies, and all of a sudden the program goes nuts trying to connect and disconnect from the device. Hmm... Okay, disconnect it, uninstall Kies, install Kies3 and try again - same thing except it complains the device is too old when the program leaves recovery mode - but same thing otherwise - does not show up in recovery mode, connects and disconnects at huge rate when not in recovery mode....
Hmmm...
Now looking at the screen, it does indicate (in the upper left hand corner) that it's in ODIN mode... So my next step I figure I'll try ODIN (although I'm researching ODIN at the moment as I haven't used it before (never had to unbrick anything from Samsung prior to now).
Okay, that was painless - downloaded and installed ODIN 3.10.7, and then downloaded the latest firmware from Samsung, extracted the firmware, added it to ODIN's AP line, then hit start to push the latest firmware onto the tablet. Good as new again.
I bought this device recently. Unfortunately it seems now that it's hard bricked. I've got the Hyperdrive rom installed and it used to work perfect. The problem started when the battery ran out while I were streaming live TV. Since then it wouldn't boot properly. It was stuck in bootloop, however I were still able to get it into recovery and download mode. I tried to recover from a backup through TWRP but did not succeed properly (the screen just froze after a couple of minutes). Afterwards it was really hard to make it do anything. It started to boot into something called "SDCARD MODE", with options to press the volume up key for normal reboot, and volume down for "download mode". But neither option worked.
I managed to get it into download mode and tried to reflash the original firmware for my device (P600ZHUCNH1) with Odin but it failed. When I rebooted the device the display showed the message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I tried to flash the same firmware again with Odin but it failed again.
And since then I haven't managed to turn on the device. Holding Home button + Volume Up + Power or Volume Down + Power doesn't work. Battery is fully charged. Tried to reinstall battery. Tried a USB Jig. But no luck.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks in advance!

You have a solution to resolve that problem off yours.
Those 3rd screen image, tell that you need to use the Kies Software to restore your tablet to his own factory firmware.
Just follow this steps:
1. turn off your tablet, and go into "Download Mode"
2. start Kies3 Software in Windows, and go to the menu Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation
3. Write the Model number off your tablet -> SM-P600
4. Then write the Serial Number (that on the backcover off the tablet).
5. Confirm all ok.
Then it starts to download the original firware files from the Samsung Servers. And it will flash the firmware.
And that's it. You should have after the tablet running smooth and 100% again!!!!
Best regards!

Thanks for your help! However, the problem is that I can't even turn on the tablet anymore. The screen just stays black no matter what I do. So I don't see the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue" anymore and theremore Kies doesn't recognize any connected device.
Try do take off the back cover from the tablet, disconnect all the flex cables.
Remove the 13 screws from the batery holder, and then disconnect the battery cable's power.
Wait a few seconds, and then place all the parts on the tablet again.
And try to turn on the table again.
See if this helps.
Hello,
I have a similar problem as iddik who is a senior member of this forum who have posted his query on the 30th of October, 2019..
See below is his post...
I have a problem with my phone : Samsung J6+ (SM-J610FN/DS)
I have crached a flashing Rom with Odin and I'm sure it is because of that my phone can't start by pressing the power button.
Now my phone has the message : An error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch PC software ...
The thing is that it is rebooting and looping without end every 2 seconds on that green screen with that message ...
Only thing I can do is, with the USB cable connected, when the green screen is up, I can push VOL down + VOL up and I can go in download mode.... Then I can push on VOL up but right after the phone reboot in loop again and again ...
Another thing is that without USB cable connected I can't start the phone.
What can I do ?
First thing, I can't start my phone if it's not connected with the USB cable.
Second thing, when I connect my phone with the USB cable, it starts automatically even if I didn't push the power button and it's looping and blinking and rebooting endlessly.
Also the phone don't seems to know how charging himself when USB cable connected.
Is it a Bricked Samsung phone ?
If it is, how unbrick it ?
When you are in download mode, click on power button and volume down button, After the black screen appears or Samsung logo appears, leave the power button. You will get into Phone main settings. then after that factory reset the phone. Everything will start working again. (This happened to me as well.)
I rooted my Galaxy a70 using vbmeta,Twrp and magisk. All was going well. Suddenly my phone turned off and when I press power button its shows download mode .so I tried odin to flash but every time it fails. After many tries I realise that its port are not connecting to pc ,its only charging and my pc also can't detect my phone ..now when I connect the phone to pc its shows samsung logo.its also not showing the battery percentage .
(My pc is ok it have all driver installed and odin works)
Is there anyway to solve.
Thanks.
reboot pc just to be sure.
connect phone and pc
on the phone in download mode screen, hold vol down and power till screen goes blank immediately let go and hold vol up and down to boot back into download mode. the letting go when screen goes blank to holding up and down needs to be fast.
now once back in download mode, is odin showing port number?
also make sure your using odin 3.13.3
if still no go, try uninstalling samsung usb drivers, reboot then reinstall and try the process again.
When I put cable in my phone it directly shows the logo....
Its not showing the battery
I tested my another Samsung phone to be sure that my softwares are working. And it's working but when I put my A70 in. Nothing happened
