First I rooted using CF-Auto-Root by Chainfire Root was verified working used the tablet for a couple hours. Then I booted into TWRP and did a back up and factory wipe then installed IronRom When the installation was complete it said rebooting but TRWP seemed to freeze. So I held the power button until it turned off. It automatically rebooted to the Samsung GALAXY TAB S boot image and thats now where its stuck. If I Hold the power button it does nothing. If I hold the volume down with the power button it shuts off for about a sec or 2 and come right back to the Samsung GALAXY TAB S boot image and stays there. Is there any hope for me?
Model is a T800. was running 4.4.2.
HELP ME PLEASE!!!
I have had serveral devices this is the first time anything like this has happened.

THIS WORKS FOR THE SM-T700
Well, it seems that TWRP was successfully installed. Get back to the TWRP recovery mode: To turn off tab and reboot into TWRP while tab is powered on hold down
Power+VOL DOWN+Home button.
*As soon as* you see the logo, move finger to VOL UP while still holding down Power and Home buttons.

Ok I managed to get into TWRP..Its version 2.8.6.2 but TWRP freezes on trying to reboot. I have to hold power and volume down button to get to shut off. Then it reboots to Samsung GALAXY Tab S logo. I figured how to get back into TWRP but I can't get past it.
Thank you TiTiB That got me back to TWRP but see above.
Ok, so to answer my question..NO its not bricked ...(on Knees thanking the gods) Managed to restore backup. Did a restore and powered off via power button. Powered back on and tablet booted. Trying to update TWRP to latest version now. Wish me luck. Thank You once again ... TiTiB!1

I updated adaway and know the phone is stuck at the samsung boot logo. Tried going into recovery but phone wont go to recovery mode . Could be because of the sticky power button issues ?
What are my options here reinstall stock rom . I had slim beam installed with TWRP recovery. Tried these steps 2) Hold down home, power, and volume UP , phone vibrates and then its back to the samsung logo.

Hold volume up and down, press power button until it vibrates and let go of power button only. This is for T989. The procedure for T989D is different.
Using Odin and installing stock Rom manually
Hey, it sounds like you have the same problem i had. What i did to fix it is download the stock ROM for my phone and download Odin. The i reinstalled the rom ontu the phone and it worked fine. Just look uo how to do this for you type of phone included moded for example i had a tmobile samsung galaxy s2 t989.
Phone was fine for few days , restored it with odin now same issue. Phone shows samsung loho and nothing happens . Not sure whats causing this or its the not good build quality of of these phones..
Hi all,
I recently tried flashing the latest twrp recovery onto my galaxy s3 from an app called recovery tools I had installed from the play store. After flashing, I hit reboot into recovery. The phone then shut down and said it was trying to reboot into recovery but just came up with a black screen. I have taken out the battery and put it back in multiple times, and I have tried booting into download mode, but no mater what I do, it keeps trying to reboot into the non working recovery. I have the ATT galaxy s3 running cm 11 4.4.2 and I have the xposed framework installed. Please help! I'm at a loss for what to do! Thank you!
fixed
Well guys I just wanted to post that I have found the fix in case anyone was having the same issue that I was. Unplug the battery and wait 6 minutes, then plug it back in and enter download mode by holding vol down, home, and the power button then when the screen pops up with a warning, hit cancel and reboot, and then your phone should boot up!
I rooted my tab-s 10.5 the other day, I used Odin 3.10.6. I then used flashify to add TWRP, again no problems. From there I really don't remembered what I did to it, but now it is stuck at the white logo that comes after the colored one and now it will not turn off I can get into the Odin menu but that is all. I have let it discharged all night then charged it then I turned it on, it then got to the logo and stopped & will not shut off . I am tempted to send it to Samsung(even though I voided the warranty) and let them fix it. I am at my wits end on this.

White logo? Samsung logo or Galaxy Tab S logo?
I assume Samsung logo. Anyway you can force reboot by holding power+home button + BOTH Volume up and Down buttons all at the same time until the screen goes black. Then quickly press the recovery button combo and restore your backup.
Now if your at the Galaxy Tab S logo, hold power+home button+ both volume buttons until the screen goes black, then press and hold Power+Home+ Volume down buttons then that should get you into download mode. From there flash your firmware.

The download mode is what I thought was called Odin mode which I can get to. The thing is I do not have a firmware. I looked at several sites for one but I did not know which one to down load. They were for other countries but the US..

Heres the T800 lollipop firmware https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347760201
I mirrored it so the download should be fast. It's U.S region
So I should use Odin to load the firmware, right.
Thank you DUHAsianSKILLZ very much, it worked. I about panicked there for a moment when it took awhile to boot. It looks like all of my apps are still there, I only had to reset my wallpaper. Thanks again.
IF I decide to reroot my tab-s(and it's a big if) what file do you recommend and what recovery file.

I usually don't recommend flashing twrp with flashify as it causes some problems but most times don't. I use this tutorial (by me lol) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=59638836 and had no problems so far installing twrp + rooting.
The problem you could of had that gave you the bootloop is that you might of hit something I don't know. I tend to only use the recovery to flash roms and hardly ever for backups (takes to much space). I just keep a custom ROM on my sd card since most of my things are backed up into the cloud.
Or you could use this, root and twrp in one:

Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/root-cf-autoroot-twrp-t800-t3079488.
I downloaded ODIN and the correct TWRP. I put tablet into download mode and opened ODIN. Unselected auto root and checked the AP box. Opened TWRP file and the file went into the box next to AP. ODIN said device passed and so did tablet. What do I do next? Do i reboot? Even though ODIN says pass. I ran Root checker and device is still not rooted. Having a problem installing Super SU. Once ODIN says pass and tablet is still hooked up with USB, not sure what to do next
You tube says hold down PWR, Both volume rockers and Home button. When I do that my tablet goes back into The Warning screen where up can select volume up or down to either continue or cancel (restart Tablet)
Please Help

To shut down, hold
PWR+HOME+VOL DOWN
To get to TWRP:
When you see the Sammy logo keep holding PWR+HOME then slide finger to
VOL UP.

Tried to do what you said but still having trouble. Everything in ODIN seems to be doing fine. The screen on my tablet has the blue line on the bottom when ODIN is finished. I then press, at the same time, PWR, Both volume up and down, and home button. The tablet screen goes black, then the samsung tab s comes on with "android" at bottom. Then nothing happens. Even when i lift finger off of "volume down" while still holding PWR and Home button. IM at a loss
You're at a loss because you disregarded the instructions titib gave you.
After flashing :
POWER +HOME +VOL DOWN then as soon as the screen goes blank immediately change to VOL UP(release VOL down) whilst still holding the other buttons.
Thank you for your help. I did get root on my tab s. I'm not too tech savvy but I'm trying to learn. I have the WiFi model sm t700 running Lollipop 5.0.2. I have no idea what to do now that I'm rooted. Any extra help would be appreciated. Thanks again

I backed up my system using twrp and backed up system and apps using titanium backup. I copied all the files to an external hardrive using pc. I'm looking at installing a custom rom now and I was wondering what the best one is. I know it depends on personal preference. I would like marshmallow without bloatware. I believe I'm ready for a custom rom unless I have forgotten something. Tried to read a lot and do my homework. Right know I'm still on stock lollipop 5.0.2
In order to flash a custom rom do I need to unlock the bootloader? This is the WiFi version. Or did the bootloader unlock when I flashed twrp and rooted?

No need to unlock the bootloader.
As long as you have done a FULL backup of ALL partitions with TWRP then flash away.
