In fact my LG G3 (D858HK) is also plagued with exactly same problem. I am on stock LP (20e) rooted. I initially thought that the problem might be due to TWRP so I reverted back to stock recovery but the problem remains. I am trying to search for any help on XDA and other online forums but can't find any solution. I really hope someone has solution for this.

Do u also have xposed installed?

i have this same problem on my D852.... have to pull battery out and then it will boot........ i dont think its rom related, possible root/twrp related? I still on twrp 2.8.6 and it wont let me go to twrp 2.8.7 for some silly reason. Minor issue, but kinda annoying.

Yes I do, do you think that might be the culprit?

I don't have xposed installed and it happens to me so that's probably not the issue....

Did you mod/change anything?
There is a return to stock thread in the at&t General thread. It's really easy if you follow instructions. Might want to try that. It will put it back to stock and allow you to start fresh if the issue is software related

G3 D855 shutdown/reboots

Hello dudes. My G3 shutdown or reboots randomly. What i've seen it might be faulty battery.
So i bought new original one and guess what...Same problem :/
Any ideas how to fix this ? It's completely random so im worried when i RMA it. It didnt happen and they will send it back without doing sh*t.
What's the current software revision, and have you already tried a factory reset?

I dont have that many apps. But after Marshmallow comes out i'll try 1 week only with default apps and we will see if this happen again.
@candyman993 Hmm little different version (thats probably because i have international d855) but Kernel is the same.
What do you guys think ? Can i RMA phone because of this issue or nope ?

Hi,
I am on latest ROM + custom kernel and I get random reboots every hour od so. It is kinda annoying and all that booting drains the battery.
Any ideas what to do? How to diagnose it?

The same issue
..
never had a reboot issue, also using skin's kernel and never had a reboot. I heared about ambient mode reboots in this watch but never had one custom or stock.
I think you can take a bug report of your watch with the phone app after the reboot, and during random times, maybe these bug reports will contain the info, also you can download kernel auduitor app to try different settings
I have not rooted either my nexus 6p or the watch... I sometimes get to my watch and it has rebooted??
Is there a log that I can look into and see the reboot time or reason??
watch in rebooting loop
Watch keeps rebooting constantly. Have latest update installed. Only option is to shut down , also because watch gets very hot.
Called Huawei Netherlands, but they refuse to repair the watch because its bought in Dubai.
Anyone knows how to solve problem? (i'm not a programmer)
..
Same issue here. Just unlocked bootloader and installed Twrp and custom kernel from skin. Got reboots

try flashing custom kernel:

Boot loop with low battery

Hi forum,
I'm not too tech savvy so I can't diagnose this myself, but when my phone is low-ish on battery (randomly when <30%),it goes into a boot loop. It just happened without warning, no software or firmware updates were installed prior.
Has anyone else experienced this and able to provide help?
Thanks guys.
Yes mine too, I thought this problem maybe fix with the Oreo update but still continuing.

i would just recommend switching to GSI at this point if you really want the mobile data back. i dont think this is going to be fixed till the next firmware update. GSI fixes this. i am personally using crdroid 8.8 it works the smoothest out of all of them. the battery drain is an issue but i can live with it. i dont think samsung is going to push out a firmware update soon. i bet they dont even know this issue exists in the firmware. this is why i never wanted to go with a midranger from samsung. they dont care about us. well.

For the battery drain you can try reset battery info with ACC, stratophere x performance or root essentials (deprecate)

What did you do? it made my imei dead but the tutorial fix it.
Did you put the imei folder in RO and activate offline mode and flash stock?

of course,
ACC u just have to select the number on the CLI, juste type acc on termux and select the option (if u have unzip error with the module, just unpack and repack)
Stratosphere : The module, just type su -c strpmenu in termux and choose the option for reset battery
Root essentials : The app, just install it and select the option
I think the best and easiest way is Stratosphere
(For all of this, you need to charge your phone at 100%)
