I decided to install Cyanogenmod 12 on my LG G3. Everything went fine until the point of configuring apps and he final reboot. The screen went totally black. I tried rebooting normallly and rebooting into recovery but there was no boot animation or the LED did not even flash. I tried charging the phone but the still doesn't want to boot. I tried to install the stock firmware through download mode by pressing the volume up and plugging the phone into a PC, but I am even unable to go into download mode. If its like the phone's battery is not working but I do not think its battery since it happened at the moment when I installed CM12, unless it was an extreme couincidence. Thank you for your help!
What variant do you have, and what did you install? (D855?) Also try removing the battery and then powering it back up.

If your phone is stock try to hard reset with buttons combination.
If you have root and twrp then look on android development for stock rooted rom to flash again from recovery.
For else you must found stock kdz rom to flash it on download mode.

alright, this is what i did:
I unlocked bootloader
Following the LG unlock bootloader site guide (http://developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveBootloader.dev?categoryTypeCode=ANRS)
then i installed TWRP: following this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/orig-development/recovery-twrp-2-8-6-0-touch-recovery-t3125859
then installed SuperSU..
after this i logged into the phone again, everything was working, started installing normal apps from the appstore, everything was working and then needed to reboot the phone and it got stuck on the logo, havent been able to
get it back on..
this is what i have done after this: tryed to get into recovery by pressing buttons, but i cant get into the recovery am i hiting the wrong buttons?
then i tryed hard reset with button combinations restart the phone but still nothing happends, still stuck on logo..
when i try to connect the phone to the pc aslong as its stuck on the logo the pc dosnt find the phone, so i cant command it to go to recovery by commaneder.
to answer about the custom rom, i havent installed anything else then TWRP and SuperSU.
factory data reset was the last thing i did yesterday. still gets tuck on the logo.
have any more tips?

I Did this Charge battery fully. 2) Plug charging cable into computer's USB. 3) Pull battery from LG G4 for a few seconds. 4) Plug other end of cable into LG G4 at the same time plug battery in. 5) If the boot loop continues go back to and repeat steps 3 and 4. Or alternate with steps 3 then 6. 6) Hold the power button and volume down button at the same time. Plug in the battery.
After a while this brought up the Optimizing Apps screen and once that completed phone booted successfully. Once booted, promptly enable Airplane mode. When I disable Airplane mode the LG G4 goes back to boot loop. but I took out mem card & Verizon sims card seems to be working now
My lg g4 h818p struck on lg logo and iam not able to recharge the battery ,which is required for connect to lg bridge and upgrade recovery form it please help
Hello
I am new to working on these phones so I apologize in advance if I don't properly state any processes or terms correctly.
I have a stock non modded Verizon LGG3 VS985 that experienced problems with WiFi and Bluetooth not working and significant battery drain. This happened right after a recent update to marshmallow. I tried cache clearing, safe mode, hard reset and nothing solved the problem. I decided I wanted to take the phone back to factory condition. I started with the LG flash tool that uses the .tot and a .dll. I ran the flash and when the program got to approx. 80%(at checking mini os phase of the flash) the phone began to reboot and only got as far as the LG logo and after about 2 min of the phone trying to reboot the flash program said fail, usb connect or something like that. At this point the phone will only start and go into a loop that includes the vibrate and the LG logo. and that will cycle until I believe the battery would die if allowed. I then found a link here at XDA (https://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-lg-g3/general/guide-flash-to-stock-10b-kdz-method-t2928140) that uses the KDZ method, was well written and easy to follow. I ran it on the phone and it was going great. The flash program got to 88% and the phone went into the boot loop with the vib and LG logo . The flash program continued to run until it was complete while the phone was in the boot loop and it got to 100% and said that the software installed. I powered down the phone via battery removal and now when it tries to boot it vibes, shows the lg log and then the green android symbol shows for about 2 seconds and then it does it all over again. I have tried a hard reset and nothing changes. I appreciate any ideas any of you may have on what I can try to get this resolved. Thank you.

Not sure I understand the question completely, but I did place the phone in download mode as per the method you mention prior to both attempting the KDZ method and the TOT method of going back to stock.
Hello
I have recently rooted my LG G3 D855 and all went fine until i flashed TWRP, which i most certainly did wrong, and now i have no way of restoring the device since entering recovery presents me with the 2 prompts and afterward a blank screen and flashing red and blue LED. I tried holding VOL+ and plugged in the usb but it does not send me to download mode. Overall the phone does work, i mean it boots up fine and has all it's functions except the 2 mentioned above. I currently an on Lollipop 5.0 V21a. If anyone could guide me on where to look, since the best i have found is restoring back to custom which is not an option, I would appreciate it ALOT.
Hello everyone,
Yesterday when I was going to use my tablet I noticed it was off, but minutes before it was on, so I tried pressing the power button and nothing happened, plugged the charger in, nothing, no signs, it seemed bricked, so I tried to power through download mode and it worked, after that I pressed volume down to cancel it to start normally, the first samsung logo showed up (that one that says the model and stuff), but it was there for really long, i left it running and after 5 mins or so it changed to the pulsing blue samsung logo, left it there and about 30 mins later it was back to the 1st samsung logo again. I also tried a soft reset and booting to safe mode, didn't work either.
This tablet has no custom rom installed (I think it is on stock 4.4.2), the only thing different I installed is TWRP and root, years ago, but I cant boot to TWRP through the vol up+home+power, it doesnt work, tbh it never worked since back then, the only way I found to boot to twrp was thru "adb reboot recovery" using adb, which didnt work in download mode, I want to be able to backup some data before flashing it with Odin, so here are my questions:
1- Is there any other command I could try to force it to boot to recovery?
2- Is there any way to backup data via download mode on this device?
Thank you for your attention
Hello!
After recently getting my hands on an old Samsung A50, I thought I might as well reflash and do some stuff with it.
After installing Orangefox and Lineage, everything worked fine until the phone eventually ran out of power.
I plugged it in and let it charge for a bit, but it was just constantly showing the gray circle with a charging/power icon in it, but no battery indicator.
This usually means that the phone is completely empty and has to charge a bit before booting.
After letting it sit for a long while and nothing changing, I got a bit worried.
At this point, unplugging the phone does not change anything - it will continue showing the indicator even while unplugged.
Holding power and volume down (or power + both volume) briefly blacks out the screen, but it simply comes back to the indicator a few seconds later.
All of this happened a few days ago - I eventually got it to boot again through some key combination while the screen blacked out, sending me to orangefox or download mode (i dont remember),
from which I was then able to boot into lineage again. In lineage, everything worked fine again, including the battery indicator which showed that the phone was full, and the battery seemed to work completely fine.
After that, I turned from lineage to Fresh, which also ran fine until Fresh wanted to install an update which sent me to TWRP. Not sure what to do, i just booted back into System which worked fine, but the Fresh update hadn't succeeded.
I attempted to update again and this time shut down from TWRP - big mistake. Now i am once again stuck in the low-power indicator.
I believe that last time i escaped by booting into orangefox - but i think fresh replaced orangefox with twrp?
Anyway, i tried holding different button combinations while the screen is briefly blacked out but nothing is happening (also tried getting into download by plugging into pc, holding power+volumedown, then holding volume up+down while screen is black).
I also let the battery empty itself until it went black by itself and then tried again, but no success.
I'm now again unsure what to do. How do i unbrick this to boot into the OS again? How do i prevent this from happening again?
Thank you all.
Same issue with my Redmi 9, it seems a battery issue idk if i had rekt mine after flashing a latest CN rom then after not being satisfied tried to flash thru recovery to its stock rom and it went bootloop. Fixed it by flashing with SP flashtool and some bypass stuff, but damage has been done with my batt. Maxing out the volume when I try to play something video or music would trigger a reboot to my phone.
