Updating mine - C6506 (US). Here's the changelog.
So, what's the deal with the NFC icon that is non-removable and the change to the Sony lock-screen clock?

Hi guys i saw this awesome jellybean features on LG nexus 4 from the original jellybean messaging where a notification pop ups directly on a lockscreen and the on and off lockscreen animation plus the original notification sound with it. I thought if some developer here could take a look in it make it possible to port the same original apk files for our device especially for our xperia ion's would be totally great..

The lockscreen stuff cant be ported to Xperia firmware because it is integrated into the framework. It could probably be ported to a cm10 version that runs on ion though.
Today I got Xperia M as an upgrade from Xperia Active and I already updated it to 4.3 but I don't like new Clock application. I prefer old one from 4.1.2 because of desk clock feature that shows clock and then lock-screen instead of bright lock-screen in the middle of the night then dark clock. So is there any way to get old app to work with 4.3 or you can suggest alternative for that clock application.
Hello guys!
I've been using my z1 compact for about one week now and generally I'm pretty happy with it and with the sony version of Android 4.4.
One thing I really don't unterstand is why the sony guys didn't adapt the kitkat clock with its smart system to set the alarm and sticked to the old clock with its rollers. I downloaded a kitkat clock from the playstore but optically I like the sony version with its bright design better.
So is there a clock which serves both demands?
Did I already say that I don't know what 's wrong with the sony guys?
hello everyone,
i hope i hitted the right forum section.
i own a N7 LTE 2013 with 5.0.2.
after lollipop upgrade and updating the new google launcher (N5/6/9 style) i noticed what it seems to be a bug, i wonder if i'm the only one who noticed it/have the bug.
if i want to change the background image, holding tap on the screen and pressing on the wallpaper button appearing on the screen, the image list doesn't refer to the right launcher: what i see is the old launcher form for wallpaper changing with the old kitkat wallpapers (except for the first image that refer to one material design wallpaper).
if i want to see the news material design wallpaper list i have to go through settings - display - background, and here i see a doubled "background" section, one list old wallpapers, the other list the new ones.
someone else noticed that?
thanks everyone
L
edit: my N7 is completely stock.
update: same issue after 5.1 update.
I've been on Pure Nexus for a long time, but I really miss being able to see the weather forecast on my lockscreen. This feature used to be in Pure Nexus back in the Marshmallow days but has been absent since Nougat came out and it doesn't look like it's coming back. I am not a flashoholic, I like to stick to a ROM whose devs can be counted on to release monthly updates that include the latest Google security patches.
So, is there a ROM that has lockscreen weather *and* has a history of timely updates to incorporate the monthly Google security patches (and new vendor images) ? I've seen a few ROMs that have lockscreen weather but their most recent update doesn't include the June security patches.
Partially answering my own question: AquariOS, ViperOS 2.0, and Pixel Dust all include lockscreen weather using OmniJaws. The first two are pretty new but Pixel Dust has been around for a year with frequent updates. I installed OmniROM as well but couldn't find a setting to enable lockscreen weather.
