When I was on my Galaxy Nexus, I used the Botifier app to read me Whatsapp and text messages through my car's bluetooth. When I switched to the ZenFone 2, I noticed the voice was different. It's much harder to hear, so I was wondering if I could change it to the voice I had before?

My wife and I just got the Motorola (car, bluetooth) TZ700 speakerphone. She has a Droid 3 and her voice dialer lets her play music, send messages, etc... On my DINC 2, it only lets me call. I was looking and hers is the Nuance. I tried to use Titanium Backup and use her dialer APK but it doesn't work on my phone.
Any ideas on how to get the Nuance dialer for the DINC 2 or a better one w/more commands for the DINC 2??
I like the idea of this phone, and am interested in buying one. I'm hoping those who have them can help me with these two questions:
1. For those who use google voice: Does the outgoing call display the correct number, or does it display the google voice gateway number, like the Galaxy S3 or Galaxy Note II?
2. Does AVRCP work? Can you see the title of the song and so on (AVRCP 1.3)?
Thanks!

1. Google Voice Controlls what the Outgoing call displays and what number and not the phone, It will display what you have it set too.. That does not depend on the phone.
2. Have not tried it but it should.
This is a relatively small problem but it's driving me bonkers! So I have the Note II, rooted and equipped with SkyNote 9.0 Rom (Jellybean 4.1.2 - love it by the way!) and recently got the LG HBS-730 bluetooth headset. The story is that I can press the call button on the headset and it does a voice dial as specified in the manual.
The problem is I would like to strictly use Google Now for voice dialing and I have set up the necessary options to do so, but when I tried to deactivate the native voice dialer, I couldn't because I can't find the app. The application manager has no trace of a voice dialer. I have also looked in my folders as best I can to locate it but I can't. Does anyone have a clue where the native voice dialer is so I can shut it off or delete it?
Thanks!
I've tested two Voice to SMS Apps (Text By Voice, and Voice Text). The latter uses Google Voice Search for speech recognition. When I have a hands free bluetooth kit in my car connected, both apps listen through the microphone in the phone, not the hands free mic.
Someone in another forum mentioned the BtMono App (not sure why) and in the description for the app it states "Please note - microphone routing is not possible on Samsung phones and may not be possible on GSM phones" ???
So it seems this is a firmware limitation of the S3?!? That's is very disappointing. With all the talk about being safe while driving, I can't believe an app can't be used to do voice to sms via the remote hands free mic. Even more bizarre is I've seen no one else mention this!? I can't believe I'm one of a few that has tried to achieve this?
...finally found a thread about this...

Hi.
I got my Samsung Galaxy Buds+ last week and love them, accept for one annoying thing.
I want my buds to announce who is calling, a feature the do have. When I first connect them to my phone (a Samsung Galaxy S8) the setting for incoming calls is in the list off notifications, and the feature works. But next time I connect the buds to my phone the setting is not there and the caller is not announced. I have had contact with Samsung support and they have gotten me to wipe cache and data in the phone app, remove the buds from the phone and reconnect them, but the problem is still there. The incoming call setting is there the very first time I connect the buds to the phone and the next time it is gone.
And yes, I have enabled the reading caller id feature on the phone to.
Has someone else experienced this? Any idea of what I can do to get this to work as it should?
