[Q] Which AOSP Kernel for most CPU Control?

I've been using SetCPU, but now I want to use Tasker to control under/overclocking, voltage, profiles etc.
Does anyone know which of the latest kernels I should be using to do this?
vorkKernel seems to allow this but what about thalamus or coutts? I can't seem to find a breakdown of what limitations they have?
Anyone versed in which one is best to use please? Preferably one that also works well with Oxygen 2.0.3!
Cheers

franco r328 is nice on battery..
but you should use betterbatterystats and figure out whats causing the drain..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
for example, wifi on w/ google location access enabled can drain the battery even if GPS is off and when not using maps too
you may also want to disable google currents as it drains battery in background sync (4.2)
Standard answer: Try some and see which works best for you.
All kernels work differently for everyone.
I recommend Tinykernel.

Is it possable to disable touchboost???????

Hey guys, I have a G3 and I'm getting SUPER FRUSTRATED trying to disable touchboost...
I have a custom kernel installed and I've been using fauxclock to control my kernel settings, My problem is when I "disable touchboost" in fauxclock it only disables 3 of 4 cores, So core0 is ALWAYS touchboosting no matter what I try.
Has anyone successfully disabled touchboost on this phone?? I can't even stand this phone anymore because of this issue.
My galaxy s4 gets up to almost double SOT on average with touchboost disabled vs when it's on in some circumstances, But with this stupid piece of crap G3 can't even find a way to get it disabled:crying::crying::crying:
Anyone got any ideas? or workarounds?
Does anyone know of a build.prop fix or anything along those lines?
Does anyone know of an app that can disable touchboost on the G3?
I'm running Rin kernel 1.7.2 & stock rom
(I tried Cloudy G3 1.1 and 1.2 but they have the same results)

I love ElementalX (EX) Kernel, but...

Snapchat, other camera apps, and even sometimes stuff like Mixcloud/Soundcloud crash at various frequencies. Are there any known workarounds? If not, is there another kernel that has the battery saving potential of EX Kernel that doesn't cause these issues?
This shouldn't be kernel related and if you are 100% sure it is, grab a log and post it in @flar2's thread so he can identify the issue and fix it.

This is not a elementalX problem. A kernel has nothing to do this at the beginning. And I don't have any issues at all.

Question Franco Kernel Manager

Has anyone tried to use FKM on our OnePlus 11? Is it worthwhile? Pointless? Can I try to squeeze even more out of this phone by underclocking or changing settings?
Edit: and what about ACC? Are either of these options beneficial to us?
FKM... pointless. #1 Its not supported, not is it actively developed anymore. #2 The only way you can underclock the CPU/GPU is by modifying kernel and recompiling it.
