When I listen FM radio and open Shazam to recognize the song, radio stops (mutes). When I close Shazam from Recents, radio plays again. Is there any solution for this?
I have stock rooted Lollipop 5.0.2
Sorry, that's how it's supposed to function. It pauses the sound output so that the microphone can pick up sounds more accurately.

No, you didn't understand well. It mutes the sound of Radio FM so Shazam can't hear anything that's not finding none. The sound must be playing to tag the song.

I'm wondering if any HTC G2 owners, running CM7 have experienced the same problem as I have.
So I have the most up to date version of CM7 stable.
My G2 runs at 1.3 ghz max. 200mhz minimum.
I have noticed an issue with the speaker, sometimes when I am using the FM radio, sometimes it goes out. The speaker doesn't play the FM radio anymore. I try running the built in music player to play some of my music, and it doesn't play through the speaker. I haven't tried testing the earphones. I toggle with the volume up and down and it works. You hear sound through the speaker, but the radio and mp3 player won't play sound. The only solution that I have found, is to restart/reboot the phone, which can be annoying.
Anyone experiencing this?
Hello guys
Today I discovered a bug with the sound when it passes through the Bluetooth or the jack 3.5inch. I am using a car radio/CDplayer with AUX input. For bluetooth, i tried with HBH-IS800 headphones.
When I am guided by Google Navigation and listen to music (tested with PowerAmp, Winamp and Deezer), the automatic shutdown of the music is good and the instructions are said but the sound is very very low. I can hardly hear the instructions.
If I press the Pause button on the music player, the sound of instructions is
perfect.
I did not have this problem with 2.3.2, it appears with the 2.3.3 (.145).
And the problem does not appears with the Stock Player, or Spotify or when the sound comes from the speaker.
Tried with Samsung Galaxy S in 2.3.4 and no problem.
Maybe a SE problem or a 2.3.3 bug.
Am I the only one to experience this problem and is there a fix?
Find it : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16051692 . It's a 2.3.3 bug.
Thanks
I listen to music in my car over bluetooth. With the Galaxy Nexus, when I receive a call or turn off my radio, the music on the phone pauses, as it should. However, upon ending a call or turning the radio back on, the song that is paused then restarts from the beginning. I'm using the Google Music app. This worked fine in Gingerbread. Is anyone else experiencing this or know a solution?
Using PowerAMP and Media Button Router fixed the issue. It's very strange that the native Music app won't pause music from my car radio, but PowerAMP will.
I have noticed for a while that whenever you use the FM Radio player on the One X, the stock music player will then be "broken"
What I mean by broken is that whenever you try to play a song after the FM Radio has been played, it will simply not play. In most cases the timer will continue to go, as if it is playing, but no sound will come out.
As you would know, the FM Radio player only works, once viable headphones have been inserted. I have seen that if on the homescreen you have the FM Radio widget, it will automatically turn on if you insert headphones and navigate to the homescreen page it is on. This is when the problems start.
Anyone know a fix to this problem?
Hi!, I had a serious nerve racking problem with Samsung Galaxy W since I flashed it with another official stock ROM in which I got much more languages including the french one. But the problem is that when the earphone is plugged in to listen to my music, it starts switching the soundtrack I am playing to another one that I wasn't playing, it even stops playing :'( . And it's the same **** everytime I want to play my music from the default music player or the one installed like Poweramp. So please help me to fix this!. Even when I wanna listen to my FM radio it shuts down by itself and I could hear some weird beeps from my earphone. The Autostarts apps won't solve at all my problem! :'(
[Q] My phone plays and stops music by itself when the earphone is plugged in, but once removed from it everything works fine! :'(

I am not sure about the default music player, but poweramp has a feature like the one you described. When you plug in the headphone, it resumes playing. (An autostart musicplayer feature). Check the settings under poweramp player and hopefully you will see that option somewhere. I am not using poweramp so I can't tell you where exactly that option would be.
The other issues you desribe, I don't know. It may have something to do with the conflict between poweramp and FM radio... Maybe. I am not sure. See what happens when you disable the option I described above.
The stock rom don't have a FM radio app, so use Spirit FM, search the apk and download it.
And this problem happens with me too, but only sometimes. When I'm using a Bluetooth headset, no problems, but when I use a normal earphone, some lags occur.

Okay thanks for your help but now the problem is solved after disabling the "media button pressed" event's from the pre installed music player and many other apps running on your Android's system. It requires root access to be allowed "Autostarts.apk". Anybody else having the issue could use this app to fix it!
