HTC G2 speaker issue - G2 and Desire Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm wondering if any HTC G2 owners, running CM7 have experienced the same problem as I have.
So I have the most up to date version of CM7 stable.
My G2 runs at 1.3 ghz max. 200mhz minimum.
I have noticed an issue with the speaker, sometimes when I am using the FM radio, sometimes it goes out. The speaker doesn't play the FM radio anymore. I try running the built in music player to play some of my music, and it doesn't play through the speaker. I haven't tried testing the earphones. I toggle with the volume up and down and it works. You hear sound through the speaker, but the radio and mp3 player won't play sound. The only solution that I have found, is to restart/reboot the phone, which can be annoying.
Anyone experiencing this?

[Q] Bluetooth Media Audio Stutter?

Hello everyone.
I was hoping I could get some guidance as to what to do about a problem I'm having with streaming audio over bluetooth.
I have my Incredible with the (latest?) radio version 2.15.00.07.28, running CyanogenMod 6.00-R3.
The problem I'm experiencing goes like this:
I have an audio track (I've tried many).
I can play the track normally through the phone speaker or headphones using the default music player, MixZing, or any other music application.
Then I connect to my Motorola T505 Bluetooth car adapter.
Upon starting the track, it will only play about one second of the track at a time, before pausing for about a second. The track timer pauses as well. It feels like lag of some sort, as if the application is slowing down because of the bluetooth connection.
If I disconnect from the T505, it resumes normally.
Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening? I've searched but have yet to find anyone with a similar problem.
If there is any further information you need, let me know.
Thanks for your help!
This may not apply to you on CM6, but on my stock Dinc turning wifi off fixed the BT stuttering.

[Q] Cyanogenmod mediaplayers pause on their own

Hello,
Ever since switching to Cyanogenmod, when listening to music using the stock player, Pandora, or Winamp, the music will randomly pause. The players seem to act as if they received a pause signal (eg: headphones unplugged), This issue occurs with headphones plugged in, external speakers, or using the phone's built in speaker. I'm not sure what is causing this but is there a fix? I'm hoping that there is just some setting I messed up.
Thanks!

[Q] Notification audio problem with headphones

Hi everybody, first post on xda.
I have this problem on my GNex: when i listen to the music with headphones (through poweramp mainly) and i get a notification, the sound of the notification clips a little and after that the audio volume get lower for one or two secs... as far as i know this doesn't seem to happen w/o headphones and happens with all the roms i've tried, even with the stock, all tried with various kernel.
The same problem happens to any of you?
i am unlocked, rooted, but with stock 4.0.2 rom and kernel.
don't use Poweramp, but listen to Google Music throughout the day, and have no problem with notifications using headphones.

Wifi makes noise in headset...

Hi All.
I have problem with any headphones, stock from htc, creative etc. When i'm using internet via wifi in left ear i have some quiet noise. Od wifi is turned off everything is fine. I have stock 2.3.3. Someone could check this at own Desire? Any ideas to fix this problem? Thx.
is your headphone working fine with other devices with wifi? (another phone etc)
Yes, and i tested 4 headphones with my Desire, always little noises in left ear.
The same problem here with my desire stock rom 2.3
might be something wrong in hardware. Have you flashed any custom from yet?
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Hi, thx for reply. No, didn't flashed, always stock 2.3.3
What rom do You have? Could You test this problem on your Desire?
I've found this on all ROMS I've tried; LeeDroid, MildWild, the various ICS builds (CM9/Sandvold/MIUI-AU) and stock Sense. I also find that I get a very slight popping noise.
To test - in a silent room, play a music track, but turn media volume right down. Pause, and wait for the audio to deactivate; you'll hear the slight hiss stop. Press play, and it'll hiss, then start regular little clicks/ticks/pops.
Happens on all headphones that I've tried, obviously the more sound insulating, the more annoying it is. It's not a problem 90% of the time, but if I'm listening to classical music (most of the time) and there's a pause or a particularly quiet passage, then I can hear it. A disappointment, having come from an iPhone which is just invisible as a music player. Oh well, the Desire has other benefits...

Audio Turn to High When Using Headphones

When i use a 3.5 mm jack headphones and press play in the music player the audio volume automatically jumps up to high which is a really annoying problem.
I thought that the cause of this problem is the music player itself so i tried google player and had the same problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
